As a gryphon, Gyro's digestive system starts with his beak. He has no teeth, but can bite down with the sharp edges. He must make a bobbing motion to swallow. His internal flesh is natural colored.
Crop
His long esophagus makes for a perfect opportunity to show off a neck bulge, before the prey slips into the crop. The crop sits at the base of his neck, and is a soft, squishy sack that safely stores treats for a time. He can control whether things come back up from his crop or are pushed further along.
Stomach
The stomach is like any other and digests things, and he can't bring stuff back up voluntarily.
Gizzard
The gizzard is a strong muscular organ pass the stomach that receives its fluids and can crunch down and break bones through mechanical action. Hard objects may get lodged here and used to pulverize prey. Once thoroughly liquified, the chyme is pushed on, but the indigestibles like fur, bones, clothing, and the like are compressed into a pellet, and returned to the crop, where they will be later expelled out the mouth.
The Rest
Everything else proceeds as normal, through the small intestine, the large intestine, and then out, with a note that anything expelled typically contains no trace of the prey unless he overate.

Beautiful and stunning, this magnificent bird tends to haunt clubs and other social settings when he's in the mood to fill his beak with something other than traditional food. He will use his charm and looks in order to convince prey to slip down his beak, or otherwise separate them from the rest of the group to take advantage of them while they're on their own.
Of course, as a feral gryphon, he's not above hunting from the skies for a treat, and while he's not the largest gryphon, he's also not the smallest, and can dive down and strike prey from the air.
He's not without his predators, however, as gryphons are still meals to many other things, including other gryphons who might be jealous of his good looks.
