Not the most sociable gryphon, Seridle’s not afraid to tell it like it is, blunt and to the point. Seeing too close of friends as a point of weakness, she tries not to get too attached to her peers, though some rare people can get past her armor.
Tough
A born fighter, Serilde prefers to use her claws to settle disputes and in combat rather than resorting to weapons. It takes more than a couple hits to take her down, so get into a confrontation with her at your own peril.
Confident
Serilde projects an outward confidence, putting on a steely face. She must do so, for she’s out to show that formels have as much right to serve as teircels, even if she has to join a mercenary company instead of the military to prove it.
Growing up in the gryphon lands in a military family, Serilde stove to break the mold. From the earliest days she had bee told that the military was no place for formels to go, but she wouldn’t have any of it. Instead when she came of age, she left the kingdom and headed south to join up with a mercenary company, where she usually works defending the trade routes from brigands, and occasionally takes on other work. In other settings she’s usually a physical fighter, preferring to use her claws whenever possible and take to the front lines.
Physicality
Standing 2 meters high with a front half resembling a Spanish Imperial Eagle and a leonine cat half, Serilde is a manifestation of power and ferocity. Well-toned muscles ripple beneath her down fur. Often she’s geared out in boiled leather armor, with heavy bags on her back and her beak and talons tipped in sharp metal points, enchanted by a unicorn to give them extra cutting strength. She uses these to tear through opponents with ease when her large body and intimidation fail to cool down an encounter and things must get messy.
Band of Mercs
Serilde is a well regarded member of the Grey Talon Mercanary Company which is a small but well organized group who has overseen numerous missions. Serilde has worked herself up to a ranking officer now, and is often in charge of training and leading recruits through successful missions, many of which include keeping the trade routes clear. Brigands aren’t the only sorts of things they face, however, as many magical fauna have been known to terrorize towns and cause problems. In situations like that GTMC is there to help.
