A Collaborative Healing Effort

00:40 Inky trots cheerily along aside the young zebra, her tail swishing and her ears perked up. "It's right this way," she calls back to him as she leads them towards Dusk's apartment building. Judging by how fast she was trotting, it seemed she was just as energetic as always.

00:42 Ruzeth scurried along behind Inky, moving his little legs quite quickly to keep up with her strides. "Well, you're seeming alot better than you were just the other day," he comments as they make their way. "Are you sure I didnt fix you up entirely?"

00:45 Inky glances back at Ruzeth and nods. "Yeah, watch," she says, before jumping into the air. Her wings hold her aloft for a couple seconds before she starts struggling to stay airborne. The bat pony hits the ground next to Ruzeth, landing hard on her hooves but on her hooves nonetheless. She throws a foreleg over his withers, leaning on him for support as she catches her breath. "See?" she pants. "Like... you said."

00:49 Ruzeth dashes after her ast eh mare takes off, watching with a smile on his face that slowly faded as she slowed and then hit the ground on her feet. With a sigh, he leans into her weight, holding her up as she rests, "Alright, I see...well lets get on then and get you fixed up." The zebra plods along in the direction they'd been heading until he reaches an apartment complex.

00:53 Inky walks alongside Ruzeth, using him to support herself. She even lets her head rest on top of his, her energy temporarily gone while she replenished her magic. "It's this one," she says as they reach Dusk's building, pointing at it with her other foreleg and making Ruzeth support her entire front half. "Third floor."

00:56 Ruzeth follows Inky's direction, bringing her inside and then looks up the stairs, grimacing at the thought of climbing them. "Third...floor?" He asks, sounding a litte strained, despite knowing the answer. After a moment he finally begins to climb the stairs, shaking a little bit as he assists Inky up them.

00:59 Inky has begun to recover as they start to climb the stairs, able to take the second through fourth flight on her own. She has to rest briefly on the landings, but otherwise doesn't have any trouble. "Thanks, Ruzeth," she says with a smile once they reach the top, giving him a nuzzle. "Okay, she's this one!" The mare waves at the only door in sight, then gives it three quick knocks with a hoof. "Hi Dusk!" she calls out. "It's me again!"

01:04 Dusk eeps and folds her ears back a bit, hearing the mare's excited voice muffled a bit by her door. She hadn't heard the mare sound that way in quite a bit and lets out a little giggle at the thought of seeing her with her magic back as she canters over to the door, opening it up in a swift motion. She's wearing a broad smile on her muzzle as she sees the batpony "Heya Inky!~ and...oh? Who's this?" she asks curiously as she props the door the rest of the way open. Exposing her living room to the two ponies, her smile not fading even though she was curiously eyeing the zebra a bit as she'd not seen one around the city quite yet and was pleased to finally see one.

01:11 Ruzeth stands beside Inky as he waits for their host to open the door for him, standing back just a little from the door, but still in site when the dark grey mare throws it open. Ruzeth jumps slightly at the motion and then smiles at the pegasus pony. "Oh, me? I'm Ruzeth. I moved here a little of vera month ago and helped miss Inky a little with her magic...but I couldnt fix it sadly..."

01:13 Inky bounds inside and gives Dusk a nuzzle, before turning back to Ruzeth. "He's that pony I told you about!" The bat pony reaches out and pulls Ruzeth to her side, ruffling his mane with a hoof and making the rings jingle. "He's the colt that helped me with my magic, but we ran into some stuff that we need your help with too!"

01:15 Dusk nods a bit and giggles at her enthusiasm, nodding again as she hears the news of her magic not being restored just yet, making her smile fade a little bit into a more serious expression before she started talking "Well...that's sad to hear a bit...I haven't really come to a solution myself, but it is quite nice to hear that you have been working on fixing it yourself...I just wish I could have been a bit more useful to you as you were trying your best is all"

01:19 Ruzeth squeaks and then leans into Inky as she playes ith his decorative mane. Though, when Inky calls him a colt he pushes away from her and looks at Inky with a frown. "I'm not a colt...I'm a stallion," he grumbles under his breath. Too Dusk he then turns and 'hmmms.' "Ya...I dont know much about it myself...I tried to fix her...but it only partially worked..."

01:22 Inky reaches up and scratches at her bun. "Yeah... I should have talked to you more, but..." She looks down and scuffs the floor with one of her hooves. "I didn't want to bother you and stuff." The mare tilts her head slightly at Ruzeth's protest, and shrugs. "Sure, Ruzeth," she says. Her drooping ears perk up after a moment and the bat pony smiles. "Anyway! Ruzeth figured out what was wrong, right Ruzeth? The um, the magic-line things were tangled, and there was something about a part missing?" She looks at him with a bright smile, eyes wide open and supportive. "He fixed me up a lot!"

01:26 Dusk nods as she listens to the both of them, taking a step back and holding out a hoof to offer them a place within her home, "Well at any rate you should come on in...there's no sense in leaving you two out there if we're going to be discussing this the whole time. And I think I kind of understand what you mean by that...but I might want a more technical definition of what's being referenced before I move on...because I think I might have found something similar...though I don't know the techniques that you might have used to fix that particular problem." she says as she turns a bit to move out of their way.

01:31 Ruzeth giggles a little to himself as he listens to Inky's explanation, especially as she gets the first bit kind of wrong. "Well...kind of Miss Inky...but nothing was tangled...just your magic paths were damaged...and your storage is gone," he explains before blushing bright red as Inky' looks at him. "But...it was nothing...I couldnt even fix it..." He says, downtrodden. "Thank you miss Dusky. Hopefully you can do better than me..."

01:36 Inky trots inside, letting Ruzeth follow after her. "Here, Ruzeth can explain what he was doing, and I know you two can figure out how to get me the rest of the way there!" She beams at the two ponies, before Ruzeth's reaction makes her brows furrow. "Ruzeth, I feel so much better now than I did a few days ago, thanks to you!" The mare tries to cheer him up one of the few ways she knows, by dragging him over to one of Dusk's couches and hugging his chest tightly.

01:38 Dusk giggles a bit and sits on the couch herself and sighs as she watches them hug, nodding a bit as she knows she might get a better explanation from the pony who had performed the action "Y-yea...I figured he'd have a pretty good idea of what went wrong since he was the one doing his best to fix you. I'd love an eplanation as to what happened and what I might be able to do to help with this..."

01:45 Ruzeth slumps against Inky as he's brought over to the couch, ploding along beside her to avoid falling on his face. "Ya...and if I was a /real/ shaman you'd have been fixed up already instead of being in this half state," he points out, glancing over at Dusk for help as he tries to push the mare off of him. "Anyways...miss Inky's magic pathways were burned out and something happend to where the magic is supposed to be stored...it just doesnt seem to exist...I helped to heal the passages and rerouted them to avoid that blackhole. Anypony could do it really..."

01:49 Inky sighs as the zebra pushes her off, leaning back against Dusk. "You didn't even know you could do that stuff until you read that book," she says, trying to cheer him up. "For a colt who didn't know anything about, uh, magical..pathway stuff, I think you did great!" The bat pony smiles. "And you really helped me anyway!"

01:51 Dusk happily accepts the mare and embraces her, letting lips place a little peck on her cheek as she leans back into her before looking over to him with a little frown, shaking her head a bit as he seems to be downing himself "Hey now...there's no reason for you to be shooting yourself down like that...I'm an engineer who kind of specializes in figuring out ways to route magic into objects and things...I just wasn't careful enough with my design...something I've remedied now for the most part..."stopping herself before she started ranting about it "...anyway I was stumped about what I might have done wrong...so don't feel bad."

01:57 Ruzeth grimaces as Inky calls him a colt, giving her a dirty look before sighing once more at both of their praises. He still wasn't terribly convinced of his own ability and that much showed on his face, but he decided he was not going to argue anymore. "Well...fine I guess...do you think you have a way to fix her then? I still have no clue..."

02:00 Inky turns her head and nuzzles Dusk back, before she grabs Ruzeth again and pulls him into a hug. The bat pony doesn't wait to see if the younger zebra is willing or not, instead just using her size to force him against her. She ruffles his mane with a hoof while she waits for the two more magically inclined ponies to talk it out.

02:02 Dusk pats Inky on the head and sighs softly as she sees her pull him against her as she had seen the look on his face, deciding to comment a little bit before responding to the colt "Calm down Inky, no need for that, we're trying to talk you silly~ Anyway..." she says, shifting out from behind her and using her hooves to make sure that the mare wouldn't fall over as she stood back up "So yea...since you mention that it'll take me a minute to rig something up to fix that...I'm hoping it just requires something like...maybe a charge to get it going again."

02:11 Ruzeth bites his lip and folds his ears down as he's pulled into the hug, still feeling a little mopey but not wanting to let it show. A look of relief crosses his face when Dusk slips out, causing the mare to let go of him. He takes the opportunity to get to his hooves and follow after Dusk. "Well...alright...maybe that will work...I couldnt Feel it at all when I was digging in there."

02:13 Inky pouts as both of the ponies slip off the couch without her, rolling off and onto her hooves and walking after them. "What's the plan?" she asks, bright-eyed and curious.

02:17 Dusk motions for the Zebra to follow her back to her workshop as she turns around, sighing softly "Well you might not like it, but I do believe it's going to require me to fit you with the flying harness again..." she says with a bit of a frown coming to her muzzle, partially unseen by the other two

02:20 Ruzeth looka sround eagerly as the mare lead him back, taking in the sights of her house. He gives a breif glance back at Inky and shrugs as Dusk answers. "What's this about a flying harness now? Why would that help?"

02:22 Inky doesn't even hesitate as she bounds after Dusk. "If you think it'll work, then it'll work!" The bat pony looks at Ruzeth oddly. "Didn't I tell you? It's how this all got started in the first place! It was... miscalibrated, somehow, for pegasi and not bat ponies. I don't know what you 'saw', but that's what did it."

02:24 Dusk nods a bit as she swings into her workshop, walking over to the wall with the older harness on it, the newer one that looked much more regal was hanging next to it now as she'd just got most of the parts in to actually build it "Yea...and I've made sure that it won't do anything of the like...ever. The mistake was tieing the safety system into the user's magic...which was stupid of me in the first place..."

02:29 Ruzeth stares at the ground as he thinks, before shaking his head. "Are you sure that will work? I...I dont know what will happen if miss Inky took another shock like that without her magic being hooked up normally..." He warns in a concerned tone. He looks over at the pair of harnesses and cocks his head at the pair. "And why do you have two anyways?"

02:32 Inky gives Dusk a quick nuzzle and mane ruffle. "It's fine, Dusky," she says. "We're about to get everything fixed up!" The bat pony glances back and forth between Dusk and Ruzeth, then sits down. "I'll do whatever you think is best," she says, smiling at both of them.

02:34 Dusk shakes her head and points to the rough looking one, its older and less refined look making it fairly obvious that it was the original "Well having two is simple...I needed to make a new one with redesigned parts. And the thing that took her magic away wasn't her getting shocked...it was that the orb that contained the spells for the safety functions...well practically used hers up in such a way that it drew a void. Or at least from what I gathered...it's why she lost her cutie mark and all..."

02:40 Ruzeth rolls his eyes at Dusks explanation and takes a seat crossing his hooves. "I didnt mean getting shocked...I meant another shock to her system like that...Why dont you test it on yourself first so that we can be sure that miss Inky wont get hurt again...or worse," the zebra responds. He ignores Inky, concentrating on teh pegasus infront of him as she talks about the device.

02:43 Inky 's ears droop slightly, and the mare tentatively holds out a hoof to stop Ruzeth. "Hey.. I'm sure it'll be fine," she says, thought she sounds a little more unsure now.

02:45 Dusk shakes her head to the colt and giggles a little at his suggestion "I um...don't think you quite understand here...shocking me with it isn't going to do any good...it's more likely to make something far worse happen to a pony with their system intact than a pony who needs a source of magic to begin with. And that's my point here..."

02:50 Ruzeth blinks a couple of times as Dusk giggles at him and explains. The young zebra cocks his head and lowers an ear, not at all understanding what Dusk was explaining in the first place. "What do you mean shock? Why would anypony be getting shocked?"

02:51 Inky sits back and lets the two ponies figure it out, though she does take out her notebook and try to take notes on what she does understand.

02:52 Dusk sighs as she shakes her head to him "I'm going to be putting the core, the thing that powers the clockwork pony over there into one of these suits while it's on Inky. The idea is that I'll activate the safety function override and have that recreate her magical battery because the power source is now much larger than what the pony has to provide in the first place."

02:56 Ruzeth looks skeptically at the mare, confusion still written plain on his face as the technical bits are explained, still not quite getting it. "Oh...umm...if you think it will work...should I hook up the void again...?" He asks, trying to guess at her meaning.

02:56 Inky has no idea what's going on and stays quiet, glancing back and forth between the two.

03:01 Dusk nods a bit and giggles a bit happily as she turns around and nods to him "It would be preferrable yes...otherwise you'd have her end up like I just said...it'd destroy that source of magic..." she says with a little sigh, walking back around so that she can take the newer one off of the wall and mount it in the harness

03:11 Ruzeth sighs and turns to Inky with a shrug and gestures to her to follow. "Alright then...I'll go and do that. Miss Inky...I guess we ought to go back to that couch...you might feel a little weak again..." He says, heading back down the hallway.

03:13 Inky nods and gets up. "Okay, uh, is that what we're doing?" The mare glances back at Dusk before following Ruzeth to the couch. "Is it going to be as, um... like last time?" she asks, her cheeks hot.

03:14 Dusk blinks a bit and follows behind them, interested in what he was going to do as she had no idea how what the zebras did worked "Oh? What happened last time?" she asks with a little giggle, not noticing the mare's blush from behind

03:16 Ruzeth squeaks and quickly shakes his head at the suggestion. "No! No it wont be like last time...hopefully. I got most everything all back together. Its just those five places..." he responds, blushing himself at the suggestion.

03:20 Inky 's ears twitch. "N-Nothing," she says to Dusk, the bat pony terrible at lying, as usual. The mare relaxes and climbs onto the couch, stretching out for Ruzeth. "Okay then... which five places was that, again?"

03:21 Dusk rolls her eyes as she sits down in front of the mare and looking at her with a rather serious impression "You know that wasn't very convincing right?" she asks with a little giggle, making it quite obvious she knew something was up

03:25 Ruzeth turns to Dusk as she prods even further, turning an even brighter shade of crimson. "It...it was nothing, I promise," he says quickly before digging into his pack to find the incense that he needed to burn to enter his trance. He sets it down on the table and lights it before closing his eyes, sitting. A strange smell begins to feel the air and all ponies in the room begin to feel much calmer than they had been, more at peace wi th the universe.

03:32 Inky takes a deep breath of the incense and relaxes, going limp as she relaxes. Her ears twitch again as she worries that Dusk will notice when she reacts to Ruzeth this time, but nah, Ruzeth said it'd be fine!

03:35 Dusk shakes her head a bit and frowns as she's shut out of the obvious something, making her look down and shake her head a bit as she watches the two

03:39 Ruzeth takes deep breaths as the incense fills the air, breathing in and out as he falls back into the trance where he can feel the magic streams. After about a minute in silence, the zebra slowly opens his eyes and moves forward to lay his hooves on Inky's belly. In the back of his mind he can feel Dusk's aura behind him as well. The zebra's hooves begin to trace around the bat ponies underside, feeling between her wings and against her wing bases to locate the points once more.

03:41 Inky has her eyes closed as she relaxes, letting the soothing scent wash over her. The mare feels Ruzeth pressing at her belly and rolls over, exposing it to him. When his hooves rub at the bases of her wings, she eeps and her eyes snap open. "Ruzeth!" she squeaks, and shivers. "You said...!"

03:45 Dusk watches the two curiously and smirks a bit as she sees Inky's reaction, making her shake her head slowly as she does see that she might actually find out after all without them needing to tell her

03:53 Ruzeth 's eyes snap opens for a second as Inky sqeaks, causeing him to just shake his head. "Relax, I have to touch some places...but nothing near as bad as the other day," he explains, before lighting up as he locates them. "Alright, just hold still..." The zebra concentrates, rubbing out the old channel between the two nodes on her wing bases, connecting them to her core. A heat courses through the pathways, hot, but not painful as the channels are linked once more.

03:56 Inky meets Ruzeth's gaze, staring at him with her wide, slitted yellow eyes. She nods wordlessly, and bites her lip to stifle her reaction as he rubs under her wings. The bat pony shudders when the connection is broken, the heat making her pant. Glancing over at Dusk, she reaches for one of the pegasus's hooves, and holds it in her own.

03:57 Dusk happily grips the mare's hoof, sighing a bit as she watches him rub her, not quite sure what he's doing, but also fairly sure she shouldn't interrupt

04:04 Ruzeth breaths out as he finishes the first pair and then moves his hooves to right where the mares thighs met her body on in between her legs. He sucks in some air and begins to rub against those spots, hoping that inky wont react to violently to those this time. Last hing he wanted was her to be in heat once more.

04:08 Inky doesn't have the presence of mind to flick up her tail, leaving her marehood exposed to the young zebra. Her body quivers, the mare squeezing Dusk's hoof tightly as she pants harder. The hot feeling spreading across her body made her squirm, her wings unfolding into the couch and out into the air. So near to her nethers, Ruzeth could feel the frayed pathways inside her that he hadn't fixed last time.

04:16 Ruzeth looks down at her nethers as he reattaches those pathways to the core and sighs, shaking his head. "Why do you have a magic node so deep within you anyways...," he wonders aloud, before linking up the finaly pathway between Inky's head and her core. THe batpony would find her energy being drained away quite quickly now. Ruzeth shakes his head and lets himself begin to come up from the trancelike state.

04:20 Inky looks back at Ruzeth and her ears fold down, the bat pony blushing a lot harder now. "Uh... doesn't everypony?" she asks, giving him a terribly fake smile. "Anyway..." The bat pony rolls off the couch, landing on her hooves and immediately almost crumpling to the floor. "Whoo... wow, that hits you fast," she says, grabbing onto Dusk for support.

04:22 Dusk eeps and lets the mare support herself using her frame, sighing a bit as she takes the mare on as a suddenly more heavy than she expected load on her frame, not realizing that much had been taken from her "I'll bet...it can't really let too much linger eh?"

04:28 Ruzeth gasps as Inky nearly hits the floor and rushes to the other side of her to give the mare a second support as they lead her back to the room. "Oh, wow, that happend quite fast...I was hoping it wouldnt feel to bad for you..."

04:30 Inky drapes both of her forelegs over each pony, letting them support her as they walked back towards Dusk's workshop. "Heh.. surprised me too," she says with a rueful grin. If they were watching, they'd see the black stroke of ink on her flank flicker and fade out as the magic drained from her body.

04:33 Dusk sighs a bit and nods as she helps lead them back to the workshop, hoping that she'd be able to get into the harness easily enough "Well...as inconvenient as it is...it needed to happen...though I didn't wanna see you like this again"

04:39 Ruzeth follows beside, watching intently as they get back to Dusks shop. "Well...I just hope this works...I dont know that I can fix you on my own." He turns to Dusk and forces a smile. "So...what can I do to help?"

04:44 Inky stands slumped against Dusk, probably unable to stand by herself. She's glad that she could now use her tail to the little signs of arousal that Ruzeth had been unable to avoid causing. "Just... give the word, Dusk," she says, resting her head on top of the pegasus.

04:48 Dusk shakes her head a bit and leads the mare over to the harness, looking at the colt with a sigh "I just need you to help me to get her in here...that's where we start."

04:51 Ruzeth gives a quick nod and leans up agsint the wall and begins to grab the harness and work it over the mare. He seems to be having sdome difficulty manipulating it around Inky from her perch a top dusk.

04:53 Inky isn't much help in her current, listless state, the repaired pathways ironically able to drain her magic much faster than before they were repaired. She unfolds her wings and lets them hang loosely at her sides, eyes half-lidded.

04:55 Dusk shakes her head a bit and pushes the mare further so that she can lean against the base of the harness, trying not to hurt her, but the roughness being necessary to make sure that she can get into the right position to attach her wings to the suit "Alright, now go ahead and lift up her wings so that we can attach the suit to them."

04:59 Ruzeth nudges under her near wing with his snout, lifting it up to where Dusk can fit it through. He then moves around her body and does the same with the other wing. "There we go...what next?"

05:00 Inky watches the process with as much interest as she can muster, a hint of a smile on her tired face. "Thanks.. you guys.."

05:01 Dusk pulls the little strap and lets the wing covers snap into place, "Not too much really. It's all mine now, lemme get her the rest of the way in, and you're welcome of course sweetie," She says as she straps it the rest of the way on, then walking over to Gears and works on removing his core, grunting a bit as she tries to remove it

05:05 Inky grunts as the harness snaps into place over her wings and chest, using Ruzeth for support as Dusk goes to fetch the core. Her head nods a few times before she lets it rest... on top of Ruzeth's muzzle. The mare doesn't even notice, almost woozy from the sudden tiredness.

22:58 Ruzeth watches with interest as Inky is strapped into the strange device, not quite understanding what the pegasus ment to do to his friend still. He leans against Inky, wavering slightly under her weiht as the device is finished being put together. The zebra glances up to see Inky's head, and more importantly, her teeth right above him and shivers. "Ugh...Inky...could you put those away? I dont want you t slip and spear me..."

23:08 Inky blinks and looks down to see Ruzeth's head underneath her. The bat pony grunts and opens her mouth, tilting her head back as she slips her fangs inside her lips. They'd gotten out when she bit her lip earlier, and she hadn't bothered to put them back in. "Sure," the mare mumbles, eyes half-lidded. "Better?"

23:24 Dusk eeps as the orb pops out, grinning triaumphantly as she canters over to the the chestpiece the mare was wearing and carefully inserts it, then looks around to see if she can find the insert for it so that it might actually stay in "Alright...gimme a sec while I find that insert and you'll have to let me know when you're ready" she says absentmindedly, sort of engrossed in her thoughts of trying to make this work

23:29 Ruzeth gives a small nod as Inky retracts teh fangs, feeling a little more comfortable with her resting on him. He shifts out from under Inky to give Dusk room to manupulate the orb into the chest once he sees what she is doing. when it begins to dip out of the harness he reaches a hoof up to hold it there. "What does it look like?" He asks, glancing around the room.

23:35 Inky wobbles slightly on her legs, but manages to stay standing. "'M ready as ever, Dusky," she mumbles, and yawns. "What's it gonna feel like?"

23:42 Dusk sighs a bit and shakes her head, "It's a litle ring...kinda like a washer..it has threads that go in that hole that I put the power source in..." she says as she wanders around the room, gasping a bit and smiling as she pulls it off of the ground "Aha! I knew it was laying around somewhere..." she says happily as she walks over to put it all of the way onto the chest piece.

23:46 Ruzeth holds Inky still and looks harder about the room trying to see the object she was describing, though Dusk finds it before he can. "Alright, so what else is there to do?"

23:47 Inky forces her eyes open and looks at Dusk as she feels the mare push at her chest, giving her a weak smile. "Ready?" she asks, her ears perking up just a little bit.

23:56 Dusk nods to the mare and looks at the colt "Well nothing other than to turn it on and activate the safety functions. Though I'll have to force them to activate since the normal core isn't going to do anything"

23:59 Ruzeth gives a confused nod, continuing to hold Inky up. "Alright then...lets do it. I just hope miss Inky comes out alright."

00:00 Inky waves a hoof at the young zebra. "'ll be fine," she says, grinning. "What could happen?" She nods to Dusk. "Do the thingy!"

00:04 Dusk nods to her and sighs as she lets the last rotation of the locking device on the chest peice energize it, her chest starting to glow a bit as the rest of the chest piece lit up along the various lines machined into the device. She rears her hoof back and gives it a solid smack to try and deploy the safety function, wincing a bit as she'd hit it quite hard, but it still caused the glowing to change from a faint blue to a dark orange

00:07 Ruzeth yelps as the suit begins to glow and dives away from Inky, suddenly leaving the mare without any support. The young zebra crouches down on the ground an covers his eyes with a hoof, raising them just enough to peak out. "Are...are you sure she's going to be ok?" He asks, stuttering

00:11 Inky jerks backwards and falls an inch before the harness catches her. The bat pony looks around, not entirely sure what was going on, but she figured it was all probably going to be okay.

00:12 Dusk sighs a bit as she realizes that the safety function didn't completely engage and sighs as she looks around for something to hit it with "Inky, c'mere...I'm gonna need to hit it again...so like lean against the wall for me." she says as she does her best to support the mare

00:14 Ruzeth continues to cower, shivering as he watches the strange magics take effect on her friend. His question was ignored, causing him to squeak and shake even harder. "She will be alright, right?"

00:15 Inky slowly walks backwards, trying to help Dusk get her where she needs to go. "Like.. this?" she asks. The bat pony looks at Ruzeth and tries to give him a reassuring smile.

00:34 Dusk sighs and rears back, clenching her jaw as she hears the metal connect to the chest piece, making it suddenly change color from the orange to a bloody red, it's light casting through the room and becoming qutie bright as a low hum is heard from the mare, she might feel a sort of burning start to go into her chest, not something too unbearable but would still be something qutie surprising as it sends its energy into her

00:37 Ruzeth squeaks at the loud clang of metal and the room suddenly filling with red light that bled in through his eyelids. "Is this supposed to happen?"

Her insides burn with the sensation of heat that isn't actually there as her magical pathways are rerouted, the device reverting what its predecessor had done to her as part of its safety procedures. She grits her teeth as squeezes her eyes shut as the feeling intensifies.

00:42 Dusk backs away and shakes her head at the colt "You think I could have planned for this part? I have no idea what might happen..." she says, only hoping at this point that she might have done it right so that she can have the load off of her conscience

The magical core continues relinking her major nodes to the bat pony's magical storage, having untwisted it enough for it to be back in phase again.

Her eyes slowly open, and she smiles at the two ponies, opening her mouth to say something. She never gets to, though, the experience having taken its toll on the mare. Her head tilts forward before falling and hanging underneath her, the mare unconscious for the moment. The cutie mark on her flank was still there, though, so it hadn't taken her magic away again.

00:57 Dusk rushes over to the mare and picks up her head in her shoulder as she unstraps the mare, sighing a bit as she attempts to do so quickly, making sure that the glowing had stopped before turning the harness off "Inky! Are you ok sweetie?"

01:01 Ruzeth stands there in shock as Inky collapses before howling in fright and charging forward as he comes too. Ruzeth wraps Inky's head in his hooves and is releived to hear her steady breathing. He pats at her cheek, trying to get the mare to waken. "Cmon Inky...wake up...its all better now...your safe."

01:03 Inky was breathing normally, her body warm to the touch. The two ponies' efforts to rouse her get them an ear flick, but nothing else. Her unconscious body slumps forward when Dusk unstraps it, falling against the two of them.

01:04 Dusk gently lays the mare down on her floor, nuzzling against her softly as she pulls the colt away from her a little bit, sighing softly as she checks the mare over "She appears to be fine, lets wait just a bit..."

01:12 Ruzeth relaxes just a little as she appears alright and nods at Dusk's assesment. "Ya...she seems fine...she better be fine." He casts an acidic glance at the mare and then clings tight to Inky as Dusk pulls him away and then squirms from her grip returning to Inky's side. "No...I think I'll stay right here."

01:14 Inky stirs slightly from Dusk's nuzzles and Ruzeth's tight hold on her, but doesn't wake up. Her ears twitch and her head moves a little, her mouth hanging open.

I care for her safety probably moreso than you do and you need to realize that. You don't even understand how depressed it made me that something like that happened in the first place!"

She never mentioned anything like that to me...but I guess that's why she was so ok with me and...umm my friend." He says, leaving out his partners name. "StillI want to be here with her till she wakes."

01:25 Dusk leans down and gives the mare a little kiss on the lips before leaning back up, sighing a little bit to him "I think I get what you mean by that, and I love her because of her eccentric nature...she's rather close in my heart. And It's perfectly ok to love who you love, there's no shame to be had in that."

01:35 Ruzeth smiles and nods at Dusk, stroking at the older mares mane as she lay in her hooves. "I know...kinda but he seems so insistent that ponies would find it weird. Eccentric nature though? She seemed normal enough to me...once you got beyond the legends."

01:43 Dusk giggles a bit and lets her hoof trail over the mare's side as she nods to him "I think she'd be quite the normal pony in her condition...without her magic she's a lot less energetic and stuff...and who cares what other ponies think? It's not too big of a deal as long as you're doing what you love and you love what you do!"

01:46 Inky grunts softly and opens her eyes a crack, staring dazedly out at the room from where she was on Ruzeth's lap. The mare makes no effort to get up, still pretty out of it after that experience. "Whuh?" she says, looking around at the two of them.

01:48 Ruzeth shakes his head and begins to respond to Dusk saying, "No...I met her before...Oh!" He looks down at the mare in his lap with a grin. "You're awake now? I'm so glad you're alright miss Inky." He draws her into a hug and then sets her back down. "How are you feeling?"

01:50 Inky mrfs as she's lifted up and hugged by the young zebra, and manages to ruffle his mane with one of her hooves. "Please, call me Inky," she says. She reaches for Dusk and gives her a much more involved ruffling and nuzzling. Glancing between the two ponies, the bat pony looks confused. "I feel.. fine? What happened?"

01:53 Ruzeth giggles happily as his rings jingle in his mane and smiles. "Well...miss Inky, you passed out after the machine went all haywire...But I'm glad you're better now. Also...I didnt know you and Dusk were in love...I think I might have something for that~ Though not on me."

01:55 Dusk leans down and gives her a firm kiss on the lips before pulling back with a little eep as she looks at him, a curious look coming onto her muzzle, making sure to answer Inky first before addressing her curiousity "Well sweetie, it poured all of the cores magic into you...and what do you mean by that Ruzeth?"

01:58 Inky tilts her head slightly to return the kiss, her fangs brushing against Dusk's lips. "Oh, right... I remember now," the mare says, her ears perking up. "I feel.. good!" She turns to Ruzeth. "Huh? Oh, well I mean... we're not... She's already with somepony else," the bat pony tries to explain, staring at the pegasus's belly as she trips over her words.

02:03 Ruzeth grins brightly as Inky says she's better, looking down at her with a smile before a slight flash of discomfort comes accross his face at the kiss. He pulls away, letting Inky rest her head on DUsk instead of him before Inky can finish her response. "Oh...what? But Dusk just said...I guess you dont need that aphrodisiac afterall. I keep trying to get Lu...err my friend to take it but he wont."

02:04 Dusk tilts her head and shakes her head a bit at the mare with a little giggle "Inky...you know that it's an open relationship, while I've got him you know that I love you too...quite a lot!" she says with her muzzle turning down a bit at her words, her muzzle turning up a bit again as she eyes the colt "W-well...I don't think that would be necessary for us...because we know how to have our fun" she says with a faint blush on her cheeks

I didn't know you made that kind of stuff!" The bat pony tilts her head at him. "Do you sell it or something..?" Dusk's comment brings a deeper blush to her face. "O-oh, yeah," she mumbles, a hoof automatically going to her belly, where the magic nodes were still frayed.

21:20 Ruzeth giggles at their bashfulness and resonds with a giggle, "Oh, well, I dont sell anything right now. I'm just trying out all those different potions I wrote down from that book you brought over. Since you wont give it to me yet. THat one just sounded a little fun, and from what I hear, it spices up any activity." A littl ebit of a blush shows on his own face as he looks back and forth between the two mares. When he sees Inky touch there, he grimaces. "Is that spot still bothering you? I...I couldnt reach deep enough to fix you there."

21:51 Dusk tilts her heada little bit and blinks at his statement, not quite knowing what was going on with them. She wasn't really familiar with what he might have come up with and was wordlessly curious, so she listened.

22:03 Inky glances at Dusk to see her confused expression. She waves a hoof in the air. "Y'know, it lets me do, that thing," she says, trying to be vague enough that Ruzeth wouldn't catch on. "It twinges every now and then, but it's fine," the mare says to the zebra, putting on a smile for him.

"But...but if it causes you problems...Ugh...I just wish there was a way to get that deep and fix it," he groans, sounding distraught and disapointed with himself. 22:18 Ruzeth turns to Dusk and shakes his head slightly, "No...they'll heal on their own in a couple weeks..." And then he raises an eyebrow and lowers an ear in confusion. "Wait...what do you mean without? Without what? Is there a way for me to reach?"

22:33 Dusk nods a bit and giggles softly at the predicament, shaking her head lightly again "Well Inky...if he did have to do something like that I've got my own solution...just about ready..." she says with a sigh

23:00 Inky looks at Ruzeth and blushes further, her ears flattening. "Reach? Well... yes," she admits," looking down at her belly. "But... I wouldn't want to make you do that with me." The bat pony looks at Dusk and takes a moment to figure out what she was talking about. "Will that even work on me? It could help, if we do that. I think the, um, the repairs might be enough on their own."

23:03 Ruzeth brightens up as Inky reveals that he can fix her compeltly, jumping around on his hooves a bit. "Oh, cmon I want to help you Inky. I need to prove to myself that i can do this. Just what do I need to do?" He asks, and then turns to Dusk. "Wait...you have a way to fix her? But...are you a shaman?" He asks, a mix of skeptisism and hope.

23:15 Dusk blinks a few times and looks at the zebra, frowning to him as she sighs "You keep bringing that up over and over again...no...I'm no shaman. I'm a mare of science and engineering involving magic. Does that count to you?" She says with a frank tone in her voice, looking back to the mare and shaking her head "Honesly I don't know if it would or not. It really depends on the amount of residual damage"

23:23 Inky reaches back and scratches her neck. "Well... may as well let me wear it, just in case," she says. The bat pony turns back to Ruzeth and tries to figure out what to say, her face hot. "So, um... the way you reach those," she says, looking down, "is by actually going inside me." She fidgets with her hooves, not meeting the zebra's eyes.

23:27 Ruzeth lowers his ears as Dusk tells him no, letting out a sigh. "No...I was just hoping that maybe I'd stumbed across some strage pony who'd learned the ways and could teach me." Looking back over at Inky he raises an eyebrow at the explanation, looking confused. "What do you mean going inside you?"

23:34 Dusk shakes her head to him and sighs as she hears him, the mare's statement making her blush a little bit "W-well Ruzeth...I can teach you a few things about pony magic here and there...I'm no shaman however. I'd love to show you what I can do and everything without having magic myself."

23:42 Inky rolls onto her side, exposing her soft belly to the two ponies. She presses a hoof to her lower belly, and looks up at Ruzeth. "They're in here, right?" she asks, referring to the nodes he couldn't reach. "Well... if you fix them along the way, you can reach them by going like.. this." The bat pony reaches lower and traces a line from her nethers, which were hidden by her dark indigo tail, to her flat midsection. "I think the magic is what lets you fit."

23:46 Ruzeth nods at Dusk a little sadly, still wishing he could find himself a proper teacher. When Inky rolls over, the zebra's eyes cant help but look at her mare bits causing him to squeak and look up at Inkys' face, doing his best not to stare as a blush floods his cheeks. He gets even redder when when Inky explains everything, looking so embarrassed that he might die.

23:49 Dusk blinks a bit as she explains it to him, nodding a bit and smiles "Well...yes, I think it'll work because it's not using your own magic to do it, it's more or less manipulating your external magical field. Which is how a lot of my devices work now after the original incident."

23:55 Inky looks at Ruzeth and her face reddens to match his, the bat pony almost as embarrassed. "Y-Yeah... it's okay if you don't," she says. Glancing around, her eyes land on Dusk, and she turns to the pegasus gratefully. "Yeah, uh, can you get us that? Just in case," she says, wanting to talk about anything else, though this wasn't really any better. The mare makes sure her tail is covering her nethers, keeping her legs closed to try to hide them further.

00:00 Ruzeth takes a step forward as he tries to regain some semblance of composure, getting close enough to look down over Inky. "No...I...I need to do this. I need to fully fix you or else I've failed..." He says to himself. His nose twitches at the feminine smell in the air, and he looks away completly from teh mare.

00:09 Inky lifts her head to meet Ruzeth's eyes, only to see him looking away from her. She sighs. "You don't have to, Ruzeth," she says, feeling bad for making the young zebra have to consider this. "It's-- it's not, I wouldn't expect you to," she stammers. "You won't have failed..." Her ears droop, but despite this, the hint of her scent in the air doesn't go away. Ruzeth would recognize it from the last time he helped her.

00:14 Ruzeth 's face becomes one of determination as Inky trys to convince him that he doesnt have to do it. Finally hie looks back at her, still blushing but looking like he wanted to do this. "Yes...yes I have to do this. I said I'd fix you..." He gives a long sigh and says, "So...how do I begin?"

00:18 Dusk comes back in with a smile on her face and the bracelet in hoof, holding it up triumphantly, not hearing what they might have talked about at any rate "Found it guys!" She says with a happy smile on her face

At Dusk's words, she turns and smiles, reaching out a hoof for the bracelet. "Put it here!" The bat pony rolls onto her back, letting her tail fall away from her nethers. "And, uh... I think you know better than me how to fix.. stuff... just make sure it's all fixed? And sort of push, uh, in?" Her face burns. "Dusk... could you help him out?"

00:27 Ruzeth 's eyes move back down to look at the slickened hole, folding his ears slightly flat at the prospects of going in, his face turning completly pink. He leans down and presses his snout against the fragrant hole, squeaking as he feels the musky wetness on his nose.
