A Plea for Explanation and Help

15:27 GyroTech air cuddles Saphling.

15:27 Saphling glances at Gyro and lifts an eyebrow.

15:30 GyroTech giggles and approaches the mare. "How are ya this morning? Your mane looks good today."

15:31 Saphling holds the tangled mess of mane out in front of her and eyes it, then looks back at him with a wry expression. "Thanks."

15:36 GyroTech continues smiling at her despite the mess. "I havn't seen you around recently, been pretty busy I take it? How is your leg doing?"

15:37 Saphling holds up her brace. "Dusk gave me this. With this I can walk like normal, though it feels kinda weird with all the pressure in my chest and not my leg."

15:41 GyroTech looks at the brace with a nod, grinning. "Well that's good at least. So are ya staying with her then?"

15:43 Saphling nods. "She agreed to let me stay in exchange for helping her with her inventions. I'm not /really/ sure what that means yet, but when she's ready for me, I'm sure she'll let me know."

15:48 GyroTech sighs and brings up what he thinks is the reason she's been avoiding him. "I'm sorry about the other day... Even under the influence of the potion I shouldn't have done what I did to you...to force you up there..." He says genuinely with a blush on his face.

15:55 Saphling shrugs. "I'm assuming you mean when you got me trapped inside? Don't worry about it. I've been in worse positions than that."

15:58 GyroTech let's out a sigh of relief, wiping his brow. "Oh good, I just thought that you were mad at me and that's why I hadn't seen you."

16:00 Saphling looks away. "I /am/ still upset with you."

16:02 GyroTech 's ears fold flat against his head, looking down at the ground. "Why are you mad at me then? I can't think of anything else I forced you into."

16:13 Saphling hesitates. "...No. I'll get over it eventually, but that's not something you need to know."

16:18 GyroTech sighs again shaking his head. "That's not fair at all Saphling. You can't be mad at me and then not tell me why. How else am I going to make it up to you?"

16:19 Saphling deadpans. "You aren't. You're just going to continue on like nothing ever happened between us, and we'll both be better off for it."

16:23 GyroTech crosses his hooves and shakes his head emphatically. "But something obviously did happen between us. Otherwise you would not be mad at me. Please tell me why..."

16:26 < Saphling> "What hasn't happened between us? We've done everything from breakfast and coffee to being raped and trapped inside a /stallion's/ womb. I'm sure there's a build up of things in there that I'm mad about."

16:30 GyroTech opens his mouth in shock at that outburst. "I may be many things, but I am /not/ a rapist. I tried to give you just oral when you requested my help. Whatever had gotten into your head at the time basically caused you to force me to go all the way."

16:33 Saphling hmphs and turns away. "I'm not going to have this arguement with you again. Let's just leave it at me being upset and walk away."

16:40 GyroTech stands up and walks in front of her. "Look, you can say you have regrets and weren't in the right frame of mind. I won't deny that it was something I'd been wanting and may have been less hesitant than I should have been. But it wasn't rape, it was consensual for both of us." He says quite adamantly. "I would never rape a pony.

16:45 Saphling whips her head back toward Gyro. "Is saying 'yes' while drunk consensual? Is saying 'yes' while drugged consensual? Neither of those ponies would be in the 'right frame of mind' either, yet when I am in a similar position, my saying 'yes' makes it consensual?!"

17:00 GyroTech stops to consider the mare's questions and sighs shaking his head. "Well I mean it depends on how drunk a pony is... But never a drugged Pony. Even still, how was I supposed to know you didn't just change your mind?"

17:10 Saphling gets her temper back under control, though Gyro's answers didn't sit well with her. "...I guess there was no real way to tell. Even so, that doesn't make me any less upset by it."

17:36 GyroTech sighs and shakes his head in disappointment. "I suppose maybe I deserve that. I should have been more adamant. Is there anything I can do to make up for that?"

01:57 Saphling grabs hold of the mug and takes a few swallows, this time allowing herself to enjoy the taste.

02:01 GyroTech grins as she seems to be calmed down from earlier. "Now thats better." After couple seconds he begins to stare into his own half finished mug, "I suppose this isn't helping me make up for the other night though is it..."

02:04 Saphling frowns. "You have more to make up for than you realize," she mutters without thinking.

02:05 GyroTech perks up at those words, slightly curious about the phrasing. "Wait!? There's something beyond that night? I thought that was your only problem. What else have I done?"

02:07 Saphling realizes she made a blunder and facehoofs. "L-like I said, there have been a bunch of things that have happened between us," she says carefully, hoping to cover her mistake.

02:10 GyroTech frowns even harder as she facehooves, her expression revealing that she was curing herself. "I feel like there might be more than that...you're hiding something. What could I have possibly done that you'd hide?"

02:13 Saphling grumbles, "If I wanted you to know, I wouldn't be hiding it, would I?" She takes another few swallows to gulp down the rising lump in her throat.

02:16 GyroTech groans loudly and facehooves in turn. "But if you don't tell me, how am I supposed to make sure it doesn't happen again? Cmon Saphling, please?" He pushes his drink asid, having lost interst in it now, giving the mare his full attention.

02:16 Saphling looks Gyro in the eye. "Trust me. It will /never/ happen again."

02:18 GyroTech gasps and looks down at the table in frustation. "You-you're just going to k-kick me out of your l-life?" he asks, interpretting her response as her implying it wont happen because she'll never see him again.

02:19 Saphling says, "Please." She waves a hoof idly. "I don't think I could do that if I wanted to. You're very... persistent."

02:23 GyroTech huffs and shakes his head. "Well then I don't see how you could possibly insure that it wont happen again without telling me."

02:24 Saphling shrugs. "You don't have to. I /can/ ensure that it doesn't happen again, and I will. Don't worry about that."

02:26 GyroTech looks even more confused at the mare. "How could you possibly insure that it doesn't happen again if its something I did? Are you mad at me for something you did?"

02:27 Saphling hesitates. "...That would be foolish."

02:30 GyroTech snorts, "Well yes it would...but sometimes ponies actu in foolish ways..."

02:34 Saphling thinks about it and decides its safer to just agree for now. If Gyro were to think she was just being foolish, maybe he would steer away from the topic she wanted to avoid. "That's true..." She takes another swallow of her chocolate and looks into the mug. About half-way, now.

02:37 GyroTech brightens up a little bit, glad ot have that out of the way. "Well then, since you and I both agree that its foolish, then that means you're actually only mad about the other night then right? Not going to continue to doe something foolish are you Saphling?"

02:38 Saphling huffs, "Who told you that? I'm still upset, whether it's foolish or not."

02:42 GyroTech furrows his brow and shakes his head. "But-but-but only fools continue to do foolish things after they realize its such. I know you Saphling. You're no fool."

02:43 Saphling reasons, "Then the reason why I'm upset must not be foolish, and it must be something you did." She takes a few more swallows. "Either that, or I'm more of a fool than you realize."

02:45 GyroTech crosses his hooves and looks prety frustrated at the mare. "Cmon, its not fair to not tell me what I did. I want to be a better pony."

02:47 Saphling shakes her head. "No you don't. You want to be exactly who you are, or you wouldn't be."

02:53 GyroTech hits his hoves down on the table, groaning loudly. "Am I not allowed to change? Even Inky is mad at me...So I have to do something. Please help me get better Saphling"

02:54 Saphling looks into Gyro's eyes for some hint of genuine longing to better himself.

02:59 GyroTech sighs and looks away from the mare. There is a hint of desperation in his eyes though who knows it that will lead to anything productive.

03:04 Saphling sighs, "...Help Stoic."

03:06 GyroTech gives her a puzzled look, waiting for her to explain/

03:11 Saphling looks into her mug and swirls it around. "As a psychiatrist, Stoic makes a living by helping both foals and adults with any problems they may have, and he's good at it. He understands ponies better than most ponies understand themselves. If you want to fix yourself, learn how to interact with ponies like he does."

03:14 GyroTech sighs and shakes his head adamantly. "But he's Stoic...He's so awkward to be around. Anyways he won't know why you're mad at me...only you do."

03:17 Saphling snorts. "You asked for my help, and I told you what I think you should do, but like I said earlier..." She finishes off her mug and sets it down with a clink. "You don't want to be better than what you are right now."

03:25 GyroTech groans and shakes his head. "No, I wasn't asking for your help, I was asking why you were mad at me so taht I can prevent doing that in the future."

03:25 Saphling says, "Did you or did you not say 'I have to do something. Please help me get better, Saphling'?"

03:30 GyroTech looks down at the table obviously feeling upset. "Look, I was asking in relation to what I did to you...I really need to know to make it all better."

03:32 Saphling responds, "You said even Inky was mad at you when you told me you wanted to get better. Does what you're saying now mean you only want to be better for me, and nopony else?"

03:36 GyroTech groans, feeling completly frustrated by the situation. "One step at a time. If I know why you're upset, I'll be able to prevent it in other places too..."

03:37 Saphling rolls her eyes, "I'll bet you would..." she mutters.

03:39 GyroTech slams his hoof down in one final act of irritation and gets up from his seat, turning to leave Saphling. "And here I thought we were freinds..."

03:40 Saphling shakes her head, "Maybe one day, after you actually strive to get better rather then just say you want it, we will be."

03:47 GyroTech hmphs and storms off out of the coffee shop, making a scene.
