Taking an Anooyance in For a Bit

18:20 GyroTech lazes about on the couch at home, reading a new technical manual about new methods to improve his metallurgy, finally having some peace and quiet now that he'd sent AppleDash on his way to find an apartment.

18:31 AppleDash_ had, after successfully securing a room, remembered that he had to go get his belongings from where he had left them, and also that he had promised GyroTech that he would tell him how it went. He somehow managed to successfully make his way through town back to Gyro's place once more, where he once more went up to the stallion's door and knocked loudly on it, hoping that Gyro was home

18:50 GyroTech carries his book in front of him reading whilst he walked. The stallion grumbled to himself, not really in the mood to be disturbed, even by a lady friend. Holding the book aside,he opens the door, the neutral expression on his face turning into a frown as he saw who it was.

18:54 AppleDash_ smiles at GyroTech as he opens the door, despite the other stallion's frown. "Hi, Gyro! I told you I'd come back and tell you how it went after I went and visited Seastar... Well, it went well, we got along and I got the room."

23:00 GyroTech feels a little bit less grumpy as he hears that AppleDash now has a place of his own. "Oh good, that means that you wont have to come but me as often right? Especially since you're not gonna be sleeping anywhere near me. Glad you found a place at least." The stallions book is easily visible from the doorway.

23:04 AppleDash_ shrugs at GyroTech's words. "I dunno... I didn't come here before just because I slept nearby... I came here because I like visiting you. Me getting an actual place to sleep indoors isn't really going to change that. Still need to get a job, though..."

23:13 GyroTech sighs and just shakes his head. "Well...I'm busy. A new book came in today and not even a mare would be able to distract me from this." Gyro reaches a hoof over to teh door, getting ready to close it, before saying, "Well, it was good seeing you AppleDash."

23:14 AppleDash_ shakes his head as well, frowning a little bit as GyroTech gets ready to close the door. "Aww... Come on, I've barely even been here for 2 minutes. Can't I at least come in for a bit?"

23:17 GyroTech lets out a long sigh and reluctantly moves away from the door. "I guess it is a coupe miles from Seastar's house seeing as she lives near the port...you can rest for a little bit, but let me get back to my book.

23:20 AppleDash_ smiles once more as GyroTech gives in. "Alright, that sounds good to me... I'll let you read. Where can I rest?" he says, trotting through Gyro's door and past the stallion into his house.

23:25 GyroTech shrugs as he makes his way over to the couch before laying back down. "Hmmm well...I don't really have a place for you to sit...I suppose you could lay down on the floor to rest." There is however, plenty of room left on the couch for another pony if the two didn't mind getting a little close. Gyro pulls up his book and begins to burry his snout in it once more.

23:31 AppleDash_ follows GyroTech over to his couch, stopping to stand next to him. "The floor? Why would I lay down there? Is there something wrong with the couch? You don't seem to mind laying there..." he says, before, without even waiting for Gyro's answer, jumping up onto the couch and laying down next to the other pony.

23:42 GyroTech squeaks when AppleDash lays down next to him, aready having quit paying attention to the pony as he read his manual. "What? Hey! Why are you laying down next to me? This couch is only big enough for one stallion, and one mare. Not enough space otherwise."

23:45 AppleDash_ shakes his head at GyroTech. "I'm pretty sure this couch is big enough for two stallions, too... At least, I'm pretty comfortable. Come on, just let me lay here. Would you rather I go upstairs and lay in your bed?"

23:48 GyroTech shifts sideways and pushes AppleDash off the couch with his hind legs, before tossing one of the throw pillows at the stallion. "No, I wasn't comfortable. You were presing right up against me. Just use that pillow instead, you made me lose my place."

23:51 AppleDash_ falls to the floor from the push, looking up at GyroTech and frowning for a moment before getting back to his hooves again. "What's so bad about a little bit of closeness? Anyways, if you're not gonna let me lay there with you... How about this? Since I'm your guest, why don't you let me have the couch while you lay on the floor?" he asked, not really being all that serious about the proposition, but just trying to get Gyro to see his point of view.

23:56 GyroTech shakes his head at at the stallion as he tries to find his place once more. "Well, I gave you a pillow, you could sit on it instead of lay, and then you wouldn't be on the floor. Anyways, you'll only be here for a short time." He turns back to his book, reading it, find ing the information contained within much more interesting than the stallion lurking on the ground.

00:00 AppleDash_ sighs at GyroTech's words, eventually nodding. "Fine, whatever... I'll lay down here, then." he says, laying down and using the pillow as it was intended. However, he didn't intend to stay like that for long, instead just planning on laying there until Gyro was immersed in his book again, then sneaking back up onto the couch.

00:18 GyroTech grunts an affirmation as he once again gets lost in his manual, his tail swishing about excitedly as he reads the passages of the book. The stallion rolls over to the side, the glowing manuscript shifting in turn to keep within sight, ignoring the pony in the room entirly.

00:20 AppleDash_ watches GyroTech for a little bit as he reads, after awhile deciding that the stallion was focused enough on his book that he probably wouldn't notice AppleDash climbing up onto the couch again. The pegasus did just that, slowly sneaking towards the couch and then climbing - not jumping - up on it, pulling himself fully up until he was laying next to Gyro once again.

00:24 GyroTech indeed was too lost in his book to notices the gradual increase in pressure at his back as AppleDash climbed back up next to him and pressed up against him. THe unicorn turns the page and continues reading, his tail swishing back and forth as it brushed up against AppleDash's flank.

00:31 AppleDash_ looks at GyroTech and watches the unicorn read, somewhat wondering to himself what was so interesting to Gyro, but not wanting to interrupt him just yet. As he feels the stallion's swishing tail brushing up against his flank, he squirms around just a little bit from the tickling sensation, trying his best to stay stall enough for the other pony to not notice him.

00:36 GyroTech appears to get really lost in a book when he does so, not seeming to notice the stallions squirming at all. Gyro rotates ever so slightly, giving AppleDash a chance to glance at the page he was on, though the subject matter appeared to be rather dry. It was currently talking about metal compositions and the best ways to temper each one to get the desired properties, even having a handy chart on one of the pages.

00:40 AppleDash_ attempts to slowly turn to the right angle to take a look at what GyroTech was reading, succeeding after a moment, taking a glance at the page and noticing that it was rather boring stuff that didn't really interest him that much. Noting that the unicorn hadn't noticed him up there so far, he decides to take a bit of a chance, slowly moving and positioning himself until more of his body was slightly more firmly pressed against the other stallion's.

00:45 GyroTech begins to notice that he was feeling rather warm, and casts a spell, cooling the air immediatly around him as he reads. Because he doesn't reailize AppleDash is right there, it has the undesired effect of begining to frost over the stallions fur, the moisture of the air condensing and freezing their fur together.

00:49 AppleDash_ doesn't notice GyroTech casting the spell, for the most part, until he feels the temperature of the point where he was contacting the stallion begin to drop. He squirms around a little bit more, causing him to notice the fact that their fur now seemed to be frozen together. He considered trying to pull away, but still didn't want to disrupt Gyro, so he instead just stayed put for the time being.

01:00 GyroTech sighs in relief as the temeperature begins to drop back down to tolerable levels, thinking to himself how happy he was for Dusk's invention. AppleDash's squiriming though, begain to irritate his coat and so he reaches a hoof back to scratch at that spot.

01:05 AppleDash_ stays snuggled up against GyroTech until he notices the stallion beginning to reach his hoof back towards the spot where both ponies' coats were currently stuck together. He squirms around a little bit more, trying to pull himself free, but finds himself unable to do so.

01:16 GyroTech 's hoof brushes up against the spot, at which point he finally notices that there's another pony stuck up next to him. Gyro sets down his book, turning to glare a very irritated glare at AppleDash, and then pushes him off. Unfortunatly though, Gyro tumbles right off with him as the ice hadn't quite melted yet.

01:19 AppleDash_ looks back at GyroTech, frowning and trying to pull away from the stallion as he is discovered. As both stallions are suddenly pushed to the ground, they both end up in such a position that AppleDash was now on top of Gyro, looking down at him and still stuck to him. "I uhh... Sorry... The floor was getting a little bit uncomfortable..."

01:29 GyroTech groans in frustration as he lays down on the floor, unable to look up at AppleDash. With the cooling spell dropped, ti doesn't take long for the ice crystals to finally melt and allow Gyro to roll out from under the pony. "Why didnt you just sit on the pillow then. you didnt have to lay down...anyways, the carpet is plenty plush." He says in an exasperated voice.

01:33 AppleDash_ comes to lay down next to GyroTech on the floor as the ice crystals melt and release him, still looking over at the unicorn. "Maybe I want to lay down... And the couch is much more comfortable than the carpet, anyways, and I always am more comfortable with another pony next to me..."

01:51 GyroTech snorts at the stallion, getting back up to his feet. "Well, I'm not comfortable with another stallion resting against me, and your making reading very difficult. Just lie on the floor or go home..." Gyro gets to his feet and walks over AppleDash to get to the couch, using the stallion as a stepstool.

01:55 AppleDash_ sighs softly as GyroTech speaks. "Well, fine... But you didn't seem to notice that I was even there until you froze me to you and made me start squirming around." he says, starting to get to his own hooves again to get into a more comfortable position, before he finds himself suddenly being used as a step stool. "Hey! That's just rude..."

01:57 GyroTech shrugs as he settles back down into the couch. "Well, I wasn't trying to freeze you. you're probably the reason I cast that spell in the first place as I was getting hot. And so is snuggling a pony who doesn't want it."

02:02 AppleDash_ sighs again and once again tries to get to his hooves, succeeding this time and moving back over to where he had been laying before on the floor, laying back down. "What are you reading, anyways, that's so much more interesting than me or even a mare?"

02:05 GyroTech takes up a position on the couch where he can both read his book and keep an eye on the feather brain who seems insistant on sharing the couch with him. "This? Well, its my quarterly journal of advancements in metallic sciences. Gotta keep at the top of my game if I'm going to continue to compete for my jobs. All sorts of interesting material science in here, I've even written an article or two, though not in this edition."

02:11 AppleDash_ looks up at GyroTech as he lays down on the floor, seeming to be fine with not being on the couch, atleast for now. "That sounds really boring, to me at least... Definitely not as interesting as even me, and I'm usually pretty boring."

02:13 GyroTech snickers at AppleDash's response, seeming fairly amused by it. "Well, I mean, I wouldn't expect you to find it very interesting even though I do. That would be like me actually caring one lick about Inky's dusty old history books," he remarks, waving a dismissive hoof at the stallion."

02:17 AppleDash_ shrugs a little bit at GyroTech. "Well, still, I was hoping you'd be reading something more interesting than that." he says, before getting a curious look on his face at the stallion's words. "Inky?"

02:24 GyroTech shakes his head at teh stallions words, laughing again. "I told you, this /is/ very interesting. And Inky is a mare whom I'm close friends with...you saw a photo of her when YOU DUG THOUGH MY STUFF AFTER EATING ME," the stallion responds forcefully, still not quite having forgiven the stallion for that.

02:29 AppleDash_ shrugs again and then frowns at GyroTech's words, looking away from the stallion a little bit. "Yeah... I'm sorry for that, too... Anyways... Would Inky be that bat pony mare?" he guesses, thinking back to the photos he had seen and recalling the only mare that had really stuck out to him.

02:46 GyroTech let's out a long sigh and sets his book face down on the table as it became more and more evident that he was not going to be able to read with AppleDash present. "Yes... Yes that's inky, a wonderful, beautiful mare when she's not mad at you..." He says sadly.

02:47 AppleDash_ smiles a little bit as he now had GyroTech's full attention, the stallion a bit curious to hear about Gyro's friends, now. "When she's not mad at you? Is she mad at /you/?"

02:57 GyroTech huffs in frustration and turns away from AppleDash on the couch, "I don't want to talk about her or it right now," he laments, his voice very apperent that she was indeed mad at him.

02:59 AppleDash_ sighs softly at GyroTech. "If you don't want to talk about it, I won't try and force you... But it might help to get it out, and who knows, I might be able to help you with whatever is causing it."

03:06 GyroTech snorts at the stallion and rolls his eyes, not that the pegasus can actually see it. "Oh sure...you're the perfect pony to go to for relationship advice. You cant get the one pony you like to befriend you, let alone actually do anything with you without being forced."

03:10 AppleDash_ frowns further at GyroTech as he hears the stallion's words. "Come on... I get it if you don't want to talk to me, but there's no reason at all for you to act like this towards me. I know that what I've done in the past is wrong, but at least just give me another chance..."

03:15 GyroTech seems unphased by the comments, still turned away from AppleDash. "Well, I'm tolerating you. I havn't actually kicked you out of my house this time, despite violating my rulse just minutes ago. You keep getting chances and then you keep burning them."

03:17 AppleDash_ sighs once more and lays his head on the ground. "Well, I guess I should be thankful that you're doing that... I just wanna be friends with you at this point."

03:26 GyroTech nods to himself, glad to finally get the situation accross to the feather head. "Yes you should, and if you want that to happen, you should quit doing things like trying to snuggle me like we I'm a colt cuddler or something."

03:28 AppleDash_ keeps his head laid down, pulling the pillow over to place under it for a bit more comfort, though. "I don't think you're a colt cuddler... You know, ponies of the same gender can snuggle and both can enjoy it without it meaning that they want to have sex with each other..."

03:32 GyroTech shakes his head, finally rolling back to face AppleDash, now that the subject of Inky had been dropped. "No you cant. Sunggles mean I want to have sex with you. They put ponies in the right mood to have fun, even if the mare might not quite have intended that when she ends up in your bed."

03:36 AppleDash_ sighs and turns his head again to look a little better up at GyroTech as the unicorn turns to face him. "Well, that might be how you feel, but that's not my intention in most cases... It just feels nice to be close to another pony sometimes, even more so when it's a pony you like, even if just as a friend."

03:45 GyroTech looks down at appledash with a look of exaspiration. "Look, I dont care if you have the /wrong/ interpretation of snuggles, but that's what thye do, so just please dont snuggle me. I don't want any."

03:49 AppleDash_ looks back up at GyroTech, still frowning. "Why do /I/ have to be the wrong one? What if your interpretation is wrong? I've snuggled plenty of ponies without either of us wanting to have sex with the other... You really need to learn to be more open about stuff like this."

03:56 GyroTech grunts in frustration, deciding not to answer the question and instead to point out the time. "Well, I think you've had your thirty minute rest, dont you? You shouldnt keep Seastar waiting. Oh, and could you let her know Gyro has a free night this friday?"

04:00 AppleDash_ sighs as GyroTech doesn't answer his question, thinking to himself that that must mean that even Gyro believed that there was some truth to what he had said. "Well, whatever, it doesn't matter too much right now... Awh, making me leave already? I'd prefer to stay, but if you really want me to, I guess I can go... And why do you want me to tell her that?"

04:03 GyroTech nods at the stallion and waves towards the door, "Ya, I really need to get back to my book, and I can't do that with you hanging around here. And because, I told you, she's a fun mare and I havnt' hung out with her for awhile. I'm sure she'd be interested."

04:06 AppleDash_ sighs once more and gets up from where he was lying down, coming to stand on his hooves again. "Well, fine, I guess I can tell her, for you..."

04:14 GyroTech smiles and gets up off the couch, actually walking AppleDash to the door with a little bounce in his step. "Good good, I'll be glad to see her again."

04:16 AppleDash_ smiles back a little bit at GyroTech, walking to the door with him and opening it himself. "Well, I guess I'll see you another time then, Gyro..."

04:33 GyroTech waves back at AppleDash eagerly, glad both that he'd be out of his hair for the most part, and in that he'll likely get to hang out with Seastar again. He just hoped that she'd be a little more romantic this time than she had been in the past. "Yep, another time I suppose."

04:38 AppleDash_ smiles at GyroTech and nods once at him, before trotting out the door and beginning to slowly make his way back to Seastar's place.
