Where to Eat?

01:36 Sweet_Treat , a pink pegasus mare with a yellow mane, flutters over to Shatara and waves. "Hey, havn't seen you around here before."

01:37 Shatara looks up at the mare and manages a smile. "Yeah, I don't come here often..."

01:41 Sweet_Treat holds out a hoof with a bright grin on her face. "Well, I'm sweet treat, most ponies who live here probably stroll by me at some point or another, seeing as I run a consession stand on the dock. Always nice to meet new faces."

01:44 Shatara reaches out his talon and shakes with the mare. "Indeed..."

01:47 Shatara feels his stomach growl a bit. "Did you say consession stand? I think I could use a a bite to eat..."

01:49 Sweet_Treat shakes the talon firmly and frowns as he suddenly mentions her stand, "Well, its actually a bit after hours. I've closed it down for the night. Shakes arn't dinner food anyways though. Maybe we could grab a bite to eat elsewhere though."

01:51 Shatara nods a bit and smiles, perhaps with a bit too much teeth. "That sounds like a great idea..."

01:56 Sweet_Treat flutters her wings nervously at the eager griffon. "Oh, well...hmm, what are you in the mood for? I dont actually eat out all that often myself...so I don't know the places around here to well..." The mare looks down at the ground, kicking at the dirt.

02:00 Shatara hmms. "I've not really explored enough to know even what's around....I don't suppose there's much meat to find either..."

02:04 Sweet_Treat shivers as Shatara mentions his taste for meat. "Oh...ya...I'd forgotten that griffons eat meat...I don't think I've ever actually been to any places that serve that around here." She makes a grossed out face at the thought of it. "I think there might be a couple places in the griffon quarter..."

02:04 Sweet_Treat shifts a little bit away from Shatara, looking away from him.

02:04 Shatara blushes and chuckles nervously. "S-sorry...I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..."

02:09 Sweet_Treat takes a couple deep breaths and calms herself, "Its alright...I just forget about other cultures sometimes," She says, turning back to face him again, most of her nervousness banished.

02:11 Shatara nods. "We can just do pony food, if you'd rather..."

02:15 Sweet_Treat lets out a sigh of relief, "Oh, yes, that'd be much better if you don't mind."

02:19 Shatara says "Be easier to find a place anyway..."

02:25 Sweet_Treat nods and indicates a hoof down the street, "Well, I guess we ought to walk until you see something you'd like. I'm sure there's something you'd find decent around here."

02:32 Shatara nods to her, and leads out in the search for something tasty.

02:34 Sweet_Treat follows behind happily, looking around for a place that looks like it serves something tasty. "What type of pony food do you like anyways?"

02:36 Shatara ponders a moment. "I dunno...something that's not grass or hay?"

03:02 Sweet_Treat rolls her eyes at the comment, "Well, its a good thing there's a lot more to our diet than just that. Plenty fo nice greens and other veggies."

03:02 Shatara doesn't look particularly enthusiastic of this, but doesn't complain.

03:06 Sweet_Treat frowns as she sees the expression on the griffons face, "Hey, its not that bad. Its pretty good actually. Maybe we can find a place with some eggs for you then instead."

03:07 Shatara lights up a bit. "Eggs are good..."

03:13 Sweet_Treat looks a little bit happier now that her companion doesn't seem so glum. "Alright, well how about that diner right there? Might be decent enough."

03:17 Shatara nods and move towards the door, openning it for the mare.

03:23 Sweet_Treat walks in and takes a seat at one of the tables, and begins to look over the menu. It was just their luck that the place they happened to pick was a vegan restraunt, though the mare doesnt notice the lack of eggs as she glances at the menu.

03:28 Shatara sits down opposite her and pages through himself, frowning a bit as it seems to be mostly flower sandwiches and fried hay.

03:32 Sweet_Treat settles for a wonderful sounding apple and nut salad sandwhich fairly quickly and then looks up at her companion, "Well? It all sounds pretty tasty doesnt it?"

03:43 Shatara looks over the menu quietly. "Yeah, tasty..." He settles on some apple cobbler.

03:49 Sweet_Treat nods back at the griffon, not noticing his unenthused response and then flags over a waitress. "I'd like this wonderful sandwhich, and a lemonaide," she says joyfully, indicating to the meal on her menu with a hoof.

03:53 Shatara makes his own order, politely but with little enthusiasm.

03:58 Sweet_Treat cant help but snicker as he orders cobbler, chiding him, "What? I thought you wanted dinner, not dessert."

04:02 Shatara just shrugs a little.

04:05 Sweet_Treat drops the subject, instead turning her interest toward him. "So then, what brings you to town? Did you come in on one of the boats?"
