Changing to Equestrian Bits

16:20 Ruzeth had just recently let Lucent head off to work and was now aimlessly wandering around town. The new zebra was still kind of in tourist mode, taking in the sights.

16:36 Stoic was walking along the pathway as Ruzeth was and was looking around. He could never get used to the sights, even after living here for some ammount of time. But as he wasn't looking where he was going he bumped right into Ruzeth

16:42 Ruzeth stumbles as the larger pony walks straight into him, before quickly recovering. The young zebra looks up at stoic and gives a forced smile. "Oh, um sorry, I wasn't paying attention there..." He mutters. The zebra appears to be nearly the age of adulthood in Equestria, and all by himself in the city.

16:44 Stoic steps back and looks back down at the Zebra, obviously a younger one but he did look about the age of adulthood. He held out his hoof to pull him back up, most around here would cuss him out for being a Zebra but he knew better "Its ok, partly my fault as well, I should have been watching where I was going"

16:55 Ruzeth breathes a small sigh of relief when he isn't immediately accosted, a reaction he's not sure he would get if it'd been one of the ponies who seem to scowl at him. "Oh ya, it's fine..." The zebra took out the outstretched hoof and shook it timidly.

16:58 Stoic smiled and pulled him up onto his hooves quite easily with a heave. He looked over the zebra and it was quite easy to assume he wasn't from around here. He was shy and seemed a bit scared of him, as if the pony would bite him if he tried interatcing with him. Now no one like that would live here... unless he was a tourist "You ok? You seem quite scared" He asked anyway, just to be sure

17:01 Ruzeth gives a couple of nods to the earth pony, relaxing a bit. "Ya I'm fine, it's just ponies seem to be less welcoming of me the further I get away from the docks. I keep getting... Uncomfortable glances..."

17:03 Stoic nods with a soft smile "Well, you won't see me do that... frankly if they don't like you, they can go shove off to pish posh land. You're welcomed in this city in my eyes"

17:19 Ruzeth smiles back at Stoic warmly, "Oh, well then, thanks. Even the zebra's in the ward weren't that welcoming, but more because of my company than me..." Perking up to his usual self he decides to use the stallion while he's still got his ear. "Oh, you wouldn't happen to know anything interesting around the city would you? Or maybe some apothecaries looking for help at least?"

17:27 Stoic shakes his head "I'm not too fimilar with things around here. I don't go sight seeing and tourist atractions don't interest me. And apothecaries, I'm not sure. But, I would love to accompany you and point out things that might be interesting."

17:41 Ruzeth gives the pony a shrug. "I suppose you can... Though it's not like I'm going to be doing anything particularly interesting. It's likely not worth your time..." His metal rings in his mane jingle in the wind.

17:44 Stoic shakes his head and walks along "Not interesting? You give yourself much to little credit..." He looks over to him as he stands next to him "I have never met a Zebra before, especially talked to one. So this will be much more exciting then what you probably think it will be"

17:54 Ruzeth begins to walk out further into the town, Stoic in tow. "Well, alright then... You know there are plenty of zebras on the dock. Why'd it take you do long to speak to one? I'm Ruzeth."

17:58 Stoic walks with him, struging in response to his question "I never go down to the docks. I got a friend who works down there but... past that I've never been down there... and its nice to meet you Ruzeth, I'm Stoic" He didn't bother holding out his hoof, as they greeted before

18:10 Ruzeth shakes his head in disappointment. "Well I'd encourage you to get to know some. Maybe you can help them Form some better opinions of ponies.

18:13 Stoic frowns to his words, quite confused as he thought he treated all fairly, not judging on things like speices and race "I do though, I mean... I did what most ponies didn't"

18:17 Stoic nods to him "Maybe we can do that latter on sometime... I mean, if thats ok with you. I had to get some food for the house but that can wait until later." He really just wanted to hang out with this possible new friend

18:28 Ruzeth blushes and folds his ears down at stoic mention at buying things. "Oh ya... I need a bank or something to change out my zells for Umm what are they called... Bits?"

18:32 Stoic nods to him "Yeah bits, I'll take you to my personal banker. He handles most of my practice's expesive and he'd be happy to help a friend of mine with his foriegn money

18:37 Ruzeth grins back at the stallion happily. "That'd be great. I tried to pay for my friends breakfast and well, he had to pay for the both of us." The colt turned away looking quite embarrassed.

18:40 Stoic nuzzles against him, quite friendly to the young stallion "Its perfectly ok, you're new to these parts and shouldn't be expected to know the wet works. I'd be happy to help you out when ever you need somepony to"

18:48 Ruzeth grimaces at the nuzzle from a pony he didn't know, pulling away from him. "T-thanks, though I've got a friend helping me out as well, he's just working today. "

18:55 Stoic steped back, obviously this pony wasn't one for up front affection... keeps having to remember that only foals and mares enjoy that kind of affection "Ah, ok... well um, the more the marrier as they always say~"

19:26 Ruzeth takes a breath in and out and then smiles once again at the pony. "Well, I guess you were going to show me to your banker? I kind of need to switch quickly as I'll be staying here a while..."

19:29 Stoic nods to him "Do you have a place to stay... not sure my wife would enjoy another pony in the house, but I can help pay for a place for you to stay" He offered, the pony seemed nice enough and frankly he had too much money

19:40 Ruzeth gives the stallion a bit of an incredulous look. "I may be young, but I can take care of my self. Of course I've got a place to stay. It would be a bit silly if I didn't now wouldnt it?"

19:43 Stoic shakes his head and sighs "I know, I never said you couldn't but help here and there wouldn't hurt, espeically if its without catch" He smiled "My wife had to live in a tree before she came to live with me, I wanted to make sure you don't have to do something like that"

19:57 Ruzeth finds some irritation with the stallions words, feeling like stoic was implying he was a backwards pony who would sleep in a tree. "I dont think I need your help after all. I'll find some one else to take me to the bank," he says in a huff. "Me live in a tree like som animal..." He grubles under his breath as he turns away.,

20:05 Stoic calls out to him, holding out a hoof in frustraition "I said like that! And I didn't mean isnult! I just want to make sure you're taken care of..." He sighs and sits down, sad that he had possible lost a possible friend to a misunderstanding

20:23 Ruzeth stops in his tracks and looks at the pony, trying to gauge if he was was just being speciesest or if he just lacked any form of thinking about his words before he spoke them. Ruzeth after a couple seconds lets out a deep sigh, not actually knowing where he was going, and stops. "Well, you were going to show me to that bank then?" He says flatly and unconvinced.

20:30 Stoic nods and gets up, waiting for him to come back before leading him on his way "I'm sorry if I offended you... I certainly didn't want to assume you'd live in a tree. I don't want anything that wasn't ment to live in a tree live it in" He smiles to him "I was just using my wife as an example... shes a griffon..." If anything was going to show the pony that he didn't look down on him, that would be the thing to say

20:40 Ruzeth walks along with Stoic as he leads the way to the bank. "Look, I've already had to deal with ponies who don't think too highly of me, and I don't like anything that implies that I'm somehow less than a pony. I'm not even sure griffons ought to be living in trees, though I guess I havn't met any to ask..."

20:48 Stoic nods to him and at his words "I understand, you're an equal to everypony else and I never ment to make you feel otherwise" He also chuckles at his unsureness for griffons to be living in trees "And for a reference point, griffons arn't ment to live in trees. They are just too large for that" He steps in front of him and holds out a hoof "Can you forgive me for making you feel like a lesser?"

21:04 Ruzeth Looks over the hoof skeptically as Stoic holds it out at him, before finally taking it and giving it a shake. "I guess, as long as you don't continue to show a lack of basic decency..." Ruzeth does however latch on to the idea of meeting a griffon. "Ooh, though you said your wife is a griffon? I've never met one before as I said, and they sound kind of cool. Creatures with wings...creautres with magic...and I got nothing..." he laments.

21:12 Stoic smiled as he took it, and happily shook back as it was shacken. He persoanlly thought he was showing the young stallion some basic decency with his kind acts and offers "Well, maybe if we continue to hang around eachother, you may meet her one day. Shes a really sweet one... her personality mostly but she looks increadable..." He starts thinking about her, his eyes lighting up at the thought "She one of the most lovely creatures I know, and w

21:19 Ruzeth cant help but roll his eyes as the stallion in front of him begins to get sappy. "Ya, I'm sure she's wonderful...but its a shame that I wont g et to see her anytime soon...So how far is this bank? I need to get me something I can actually spend here..."

21:23 Stoic wakes up from his trance from his words, blushing a bit as he tries to fight getting sappy. but the talk of his love made him go sappy "Ah s-sorry... but yeah, its right there?" He said, pointing to a nice looking office building coming in to sight

21:34 Ruzeth looks at the office building exitedly, practically skipping as he hops on over to it quickly, throwing open the doors with a look of glee on his face, much to the chagrine of those working there. He gets a couple of odd looks and a scowl or two from people with in due to his rambunctions behaviro among other things. The zebra waits for stoic to enter to procede.

21:40 Stoic walks in behind him and leads him up the building to his banker/accountaint. In there, Money Bags was looking through various sheets of paper containting leagers from various buisness. When Stoic knocked on the door, he got up and opened, coming with a smile "Stoic! Here to talk about your practice? Change of money policy?

21:41 Stoic shakes his head "No no, I'm actually hear to help a friend of mine..." He steps to the side and lets Ruzeth speak for himself, standing by to step in if needed

21:58 Ruzeth steps up timidly to the banker with a forced smile on his face. All these businiess looking ponies were making him uncomfortable. "Oh, umm Hi there mister...you see I was just kind of...umm looking to change my Zebra Zells over to bits n stuff so that I can actually buy things here..." The litte zebra says fairly timidly.

22:05 MoneyBag smiles to the young zebra, the first pony here to actually show one to him. He was happy to give him a chance thanks to what Stoic has shown him before. He moves to the side to allow him in "Certainly! Please, come in and relax while I go look up the recent exchange rate" He said, troting over to a chart and looking over them. Stoic goes to sit on a near by couch and motions him to do so as well

22:17 Ruzeth goes and lays down next to Stoic, keeping a little bit of seperation between the two. "Well, thanks for helping me...I've never heard of a pony having their own personal banker before..." The zebra is much more relaxed after the smile than he'd been initially, eagerly glancing about the room.

22:20 Stoic laughed a bit "Yeah, personal friend of mine. It helps alot when it comes to taxes and such." He says quite flatly as Money bags comes over with a clip board and abbacus "So, how much will you be turning into bits today?" He asked, keeping a smile on his face as he looked to Ruzeth \

22:23 Ruzeth turns to his saddlebag and removes a small sack of zells, the contents jingling loosly in his mouth. It would be quite apperent that the zebra would not be the most wealthy client moneybags had ever delt with, infact far from it. The zebra doesnt even think about this though as he sets the sack down in front of him and gleeflully replies, "Everything I own."

22:27 MoneyBag frowns a bit 'this is everything he owns?' He thinks to himself as he opens it up and counts the zells. He pushes them to the side and messes with the accubus, getting the exact ammount its worth and putting it back in the bag... then adds a bit more. Normally he wouldn't think about this but if thats all this poor zebra has, he needs more... so he put some more in the bag at his expence. He hooves the bag back to him "Here, enjoy your time here. Feel free to come by if you need anything else regard money. My door is always open to friends"

22:41 Ruzeth hovers around the bankers abicus as he does his work, extremely curious about the process. After a little bit of waiting the zebra takes the new sack and hefts it into his saddlebag. "Huh...I guess bits weigh more than Zells..." he comments under the new load. "Well, thanks for the help, I'll be sure to come back if I ever need it."

22:59 MoneyBag wouldn't dare tell ether of them about his acts of generousity, as it could upset ether one of them "Yeah, Bits are actually worth less, so you get more bang for your buck" He lied, as it was actually the other way around. Stoic got up and smiled "Thank you for the help..." He turns to his friend "So are we to head elseware?"

23:18 Ruzeth smiles back at Money Bags happily, "Alright then, thanks once again." Ruzeth shrugs back at Stoic, "Well, I dont' know...I hardly know the town at all. I still probably ought to find someplace to work though...and I think an apothecary might be the best place for me...Gotta help my friend after all."
