20:11 Ruzeth is a convineintly placed zebra

20:13 Tihan gnaws lightly on Ruzeth's rump.

20:13 Ruzeth eeps and wiggles it, pulling away. "Who are you?

20:14 Tihan smils. "I'm TIhan!"

20:17 Ruzeth turns to face the new pone. "Oooh, another unicorn. Can I see some of your magic?"

20:17 Ruzeth says, "I'm Ruzeth by the way. Just arrived from Zebrica"

20:18 Tihan says, "Nice to meet you!" She smiles brightly, showing off her tiny set of fangs.

20:22 Ruzeth tilts his head slightly, confused at the pointed teeth. "Oh hmmm, all the other ponies I've spoke to lack fangs..." He comments, an unspoken question hanging in his voice.

20:25 Tihan shuts her mouth and touches her fangs. "oh, these? I'm surprised you even noticed, most ponies don't see them." She puts her hoof back down and looks at the zebra. "I'm not exactly a pureblooded pony, I inherited that trait from my mother."

20:28 Ruzeth bounces up and down in place, eager to hear the story. "From your mother huh? Whats she? I'm not a purebred pony either," he says with a giggle.

20:29 Tihan chuckles softly at his enthusiasm. "My mother is a kirin, and my father was a unicorn, so I'm not exactly like most ponies."

20:32 Ruzeth smiles brightly, "Ooh, a Kirin huh? Thats sooo coool!..." After a couple seconds later he adds, "Whats a kirin?"

20:33 Tihan chuckles softly. "It's kind of like a a dragon-pony." She pauses for a moment... "Sort of. Pretty sure cats are mixed in there somewhere, too."

20:37 Ruzeth frowns in thought, trying to imagine what she was talking about. "I hadnt heard about those being in equestria. Ponies, Griffons, and buffalo, but never Kirin..."

20:38 Tihan says, "Yeah, There aren't very many of them... I'm very lucky to be her dughter!" She stands up with a proud smile on her face

20:43 Ruzeth nods back at her, "I guess not. My Equestrian Guidebook that I looked over never mentioned them."

20:44 Tihan giggles softly. "An equestrian Guidebook, huh? Are you a tourist?"

20:52 Ruzeth shakes his head vigorously, "Nope! I'm going on an adventure." The excitable zebra seemed a little bit young to be so far away from home by himself. If his size was any indication he probably fell around the age of 15-17. The zebra wore his mane with each stripe segregated and held together by a small gold ring near the tips.

21:03 Tihan says, "and adventure, huh? Sounds fun! Hey, where are your parents?"

21:12 Ruzeth grins back up at Tihan with a look of mischief in his eye. "My parents? I left them back at my village. I just hitched a ride on one of the trade vessels going anywhere."

21:13 Tihan says, "Aren't they gonna be worried about you?"

21:15 Ruzeth crosses his hooves and gives Tihan the stink-eye at the implication. "Hey! i'm old enough! I am a big zebra," He insists, standing up on the tips of his hooves to seem taller.

21:18 Tihan says, "Uh... huh... Well, it seems like you probably shouldn't be out wandering around on your own."

21:26 Ruzeth crosses his hooves and rolls his eyes. "Oh cmon, not you too Tihan. Thats what they told me before I left. But the spirits told me to go, so I had to."

21:27 Tihan says, "mmhmm. The spirits told you, huh? You sure it wasn't your mind playing tricks on you?"

21:37 Ruzeth nods back at her. "Of course it was the spirits! I've been training under our shaman afterall. One of them came to me in a smoke dream and told me to go to Equestria. They didnt' say why though."

21:37 Tihan says, "A... smoke dream." She raises an eyebrow, thinking, drugs?

21:40 Ruzeth catches her confused look and explains. "Yes! Thats how we allow the spirits to talk with us better. These plants are thrown into a fire, and then breathing deep of the fragrance you go into this trance like state where they can talk with you."

21:42 Tihan says, "... Ok, yeah, that sounds like... fun."

21:45 Ruzeth beams back at her, "Ya, they can be fun sometimes, but they often are important. Tribal magic relies on keeping them happy afterall. Not sure what I'm supposed to do here yet, but I cant find the right herbs in the market." The zebra kicks at the ground with a hoof.

21:56 Tihan says, "What are you looking for?"

22:00 Ruzeth says, "Hhmmm well, I need some wispleaf stalks, a handful of spiritflower petals and and a sprig of moonshade. Fresh is better, but dried would work as well."

22:00 Ruzeth says, *hoofful

22:07 Tihan says, "Hmm... I might have some of that back at home, if I haven't already used it all up..."

22:09 Ruzeth bounces up and down excitedly. "Oh! Oh! you do? Would you mind sharing some? I didn't know that those were grown in equestria too."

22:11 Tihan says, "Yeah, some rare stuff grows out in the forest... Part of why I live there."

22:17 Ruzeth puts a large grin on his muzzle "Ooh! Thank you Miss Tihan!"

22:19 Tihan chuckles softly and pats his head. "No problem, Ruzeth." She starts off towards the forest.

22:20 Ruzeth follows along quickly with quite a bit of bounce in his step.

22:24 Tihan walks down a relatively clear path... a couple of bushes have branches out into the path, but sudden tiny burts of flame cut them off before they reach them. Tihan picks up the branches and tosses them off the path when they reach them.

22:28 Ruzeth 's jaw drops open as the path is alight with flames. "Oooh cool! Was that your magic Tihan? Its so neat!"

22:29 Tihan smiles at him. "Yeah, that's me. Thanks!"

22:32 Ruzeth walks over to one fo the bushes, noting how the fire just seemed to stop at the edge of the path. "Thats a fair amount of control you've got Tihan."

22:33 Tihan says, "Yeah, it was just a small quick burn to break off the branch... Not really hard."

22:35 Ruzeth hmms and then catches up with the mare, following close.

22:38 Tihan trots down the path until they come into view of a clearing. A lake can be seen through the trees, with a flower field on the far side. As they continue down the path, Tihan's cabin comes into view, much closer than the lake is.

22:42 Ruzeth notices the cabin as it comes into view. He instantly assumes that its Tihan's and takes of galloping towards it, running off the path and heading through the field.

22:43 Tihan chuckles and trots after him.

22:46 Ruzeth walks around the house after he arives at it, peering in windows and inspecting everything.

22:48 Tihan says, There is a door in the middle of the wall facing the lake, and windows dot the structure all over the place. Facing the lake, if you were to go to the right from the front door, there is a garden with a varienty of edible and non-edible plants.

22:54 Tihan walks on over to her cabin and stands by the door. "C'mon, Ruzeth."

22:55 Ruzeth giggles loudly and dashes back to her, standing next to her.

22:56 Tihan unlocks the door and heads in.

22:57 Ruzeth follows in after her, barely managing to keep himself from dashing around the new house. He looks around eagerly, taking in the site.

22:59 Tihan says, the room they enter seems to be a living area on the right, kitchen on the left. There is a staircase straight agross from where they entered, with one door under the stairs, one door at the top of the stairs with a small balcony, and one door at the base of the stairs

23:00 Tihan chuckles softly. "C'mon, the stuff should be up here." She heads up the stairs.

23:04 Ruzeth bounces up the stairs after the mare, batting at her tail as he follows.

23:13 Ruzeth looks around the room and goes to explore the magical artifacts that were laying about, poking at different ones with a hoof.

23:15 Tihan dashes over and pulls him back from them "Ahhhh, please don't touch!"

23:17 Ruzeth folds his ears flat against his head. "Awwwwww, why not? These look neat."

23:19 Tihan says, "Some of these are dangerous if you aren't careful with them." She looks down sternly at him. "So no touching."

23:20 Ruzeth sighs and turns away from what he was messing with. "So...those herbs?"

23:21 Tihan says, "Ah, yes, right!" She turns away from him and crouches down to look in a cabinet.

23:24 Ruzeth sees another artifact that catches his eye, some sort of round crystal, which eh picks up and inspects whilst she's busy.

23:25 Tihan says, *The orb flashes as Ruzeth picks it up, and in his mind's eye, he sees whatever it was he was last thinking about.

23:26 Tihan notices a flash of light, and she quickly turns around to see Ruzeth in a trance as he uses her scrying orb.

23:26 Tihan says, "..."

23:29 Ruzeth suddenly sees himself in third person, gazing into the orb. He watches himself as he sits completly still, lost in a trance.

23:31 Tihan sighs and facehoofs. "Ugh, Ruzeth, I told you not to touch stuff..." She levitates the scrying orb out of his hooves and wraps it in a cloth, putting it up on a counter.

23:35 Ruzeth shakes his head and comes back to his own body a couple seconds after the orb is taken away. "Wh-what happened? That was strange."

23:36 Tihan taps her hoof at him and looks annoyed with him. "You were touching things when I said not to."

23:38 Ruzeth shrinks back from her gaze. "S-sorry...but like I saw myself...and you it was so strange..."

23:41 Tihan says, "Yeah, that was my scrying orb... it shows you what you think about as long as you're touching it." She looks at the bundle of cloth around it. "That's /definitely/ something you shouldn't touch without experience with it, you could get stuck in your own head if you don't know what you're doing."

23:46 Ruzeth raises an eyebrow. "I can see inside my own head witht hat thing? Does that mean I can like imagine a world and go play in it or something?" The zebra asks, already considering the possiblities.

23:48 Tihan says, "No. Don't mess with it. You don't have any training with it, it could be dangerous."

23:49 Ruzeth huffs, "Ughh fine...I won't touch it anymore..."

23:50 Tihan ruffles hi mane. "Thank you." She turns back and resumes digging in the cabinet for the stuff he wanted...

23:54 Ruzeth walks around her and and watches look through the cabiniet, seeing if he could identify any of the herbs she was looking at.

23:55 Tihan has plenty of different herbs, organized into little statchels by use.

00:01 Ruzeth pulls out a random jar and inspects it. "Oooh, this one is used to bleach fur so that you can change your stripes"

00:07 Tihan says, "Hey, careful with that, that stuff can mess with your fur if you're not careful with it."

00:09 Ruzeth rolls his eyes at Tihan. "Oh dont' worry, I know my way around herbs, it comes with the job..."

00:11 Tihan says, "That may be, but still. Careful."

00:18 Ruzeth nods and sets the jar back in the drawer, out of order from her organization.

00:23 Tihan moves it back where it belongs

00:25 Ruzeth says, "So...about those herbs?"

00:26 Tihan says, "Yeah, I... hmm... I found the wispleaves... a little moonshade... but it looks like I'm out of spiritflowers. Sorry."

00:29 Ruzeth says, "Oh, well you said they can be found in the forest right? I'll just go collect some myself."

00:30 Tihan says, "oh, uhh, that's, uhh, probably not a good idea, there's some nasty critters out there. Can't have you getting hurt on my watch.":

00:33 Ruzeth gives Tihan an unamused look. "You're just doing me a favore, you arn't watching me. I'm sure I can handle myself out there. How bad can those creatures be?"

00:34 Tihan says, "Bad. very bad."

00:34 Tihan sounds totally serious

00:35 Ruzeth lets out a long sigh. "Fine Tihan...I won't go out into teh forest. Can I at least get some of those herbs?"

00:42 Tihan says, "Sure, but I'll wanna go with you."

00:43 Ruzeth says, "I meant the ones you have on you silly. I'll just find somepony else with those flowers later."

00:51 Tihan says, "oh, oh ok. Yeah, that makes sense." She hoofs over the ones she did have.

00:52 Ruzeth giggles at the silly pony and puts the herbs into his saddle bag. "Thank you much."

00:53 Tihan says, "You're welcome."

00:55 Ruzeth lets out a wide yawn and then hugs the mare, "You're such a nice pony."

00:56 Tihan smiles and returns the hug. "Aww, thanks."

00:58 Ruzeth breaks away and yawns again, smacking his lips.

01:00 Tihan says, "Are you tired?"

01:01 Ruzeth says, "A little bit," he admits. "I should probably go find a good patch of grass to nap in..."

01:02 Tihan says, "oh... Why don't you take a nap here? It's much safer than sleeping outside."

01:02 Ruzeth perks up slightly, "Oh? You'd let me? But... You've already done so much..."

01:09 Tihan says, "Oh, it's no trouble... as long as you stay out of trouble." she adds quickly.

01:09 Ruzeth says, "Don't worry, I would never get into any trouble."

01:12 Tihan says, "Alright, then go ahead and take a nap. "She smiles at him.

01:13 Ruzeth grins back sleepily, "Where should I sleep miss?"

01:14 Tihan says, "Umm, there's a couple beds downstairs down the hall, or there's the couch in the living room.

01:17 Ruzeth makes his way over to the stairs and slides down the banister, hopping off before he hit the nob.

01:18 Tihan follows after him and watches him slide down... she just walks down the stairs.

01:19 Ruzeth makes his way over to the room he saw before with the beds, jumping up high and flopping onto it.

01:20 Tihan watches him get in and smiles at him. "Have a good nap." She shuts the blinds on the window, darkening the room, then closes the door.

01:21 Ruzeth closes his eyes, laying on the bed. "Thank you Tihan," he states before falling asleep, getnly snoring on the bed.
