Borrowing a Friend's Diary

20:49 GyroTech was making it towards Inky's house on this beautiful day. He had taken the day off because the pegasi had managed to do an exceptionally good job and he couldn't waste the afternoon. He gets to Inky's house and looks up at the balcony, not quite remembering how he could get up there.

20:51 Liten the breezie had his eyes closed, enjoting the nice wind in his mane... however she wasn't looking where she was going and flew right into the face of the stallion. Her eyes jolted open and she wiggled in fear

20:52 GyroTech scrunches his face and shakes it to dislodge the insect, before taking a deep breath and blowing hard at it. "Damn bug...I'm glad my muzzle wasn't opened," he mutters.

20:54 Liten is flung into the building, falling to the ground in tear. Her squeaky loud voice easily hearable by the stallion... and just from that, he could tell that wasn't a bug that flew into his face

20:57 GyroTech gives a shrug at the noise, finding it an intersting sounding bug, bug doesn't really care. He walks up to the building, looking to plod around it to find the door. As he does so he passes right by the breezy

20:59 Liten winces crying out "Ah! Doe me geen pijn! Ik wil niet sterven!" in such a way that it makes it completely unmistakable that she isn't just some bug.

21:00 GyroTech pauses as he hears the cries and turns, lowering his muzzle up close to the Breezie trying to get a good look at it. "You are a very strange sounding creature. A pony looking butterfly. It even seems to have a complex array of sounds it produces."

21:03 Liten gets up and glares at the stallion. A butterful.. he called her a butterfly! She is not just some buterfly and she was going to prove it. Floting up onto his nose, he looks in right in one eye and screams "Denk je dat ik slechts enkele belabberde vlinder! Ik zal je laten zien wie wat belabberd vlinder!"

21:06 GyroTech giggles at the strange noises the breezie makes. He then perks up as a thought hits him. "Oh, you're that new pet Inky was telling me about. She has good tastes, you area cute little butterfly thing. She said you were intellegent..." he trails off colicng his head

21:11 Liten makes the cutest little growling some as he called her 'inkie's pet' "Denk je dat ik Inkie's huisdier! Je denkt dat je bent zo heet je dom pony!" She was filling with some much anger at his words.

21:16 GyroTech starts to laugh even harder, his legs going weak under him as he collapses to the ground in a fit of giggling. "Those noises you make are so cute..."

21:20 Liten eeps cutely and glides down onto him, wondering why he thinks shes sounds so cute! She is not some cute little pet! She stops her hooves on his side "Stoppen met lachen naar me! Je bent zo'n lul!" She curses at him

21:25 GyroTech gets to his feet and picks her up, setting her in his mane. "We better get you back inside before you get hurt by a clumbsy pony or something." He begins to look around for the door. "Now which one of these actually leads to teh stairwell so taht I'm not barging into someones house."

21:27 Liten sighs as shes out in the hair of the clumbsy pony, unbelieving of his incompitance... theres only one door out and that was on the other side of the house... at least thats the only door she knew about

21:31 GyroTech walks around one side and spots the wrong door. "Well, I suppose there's no reason not to try this door..." He places a hoof on it and trys to turn it, but the knob doesnt move. "Hmm...not this one."

21:34 Liten groans at the stupidity of the stallion, gliding out she screams "Ik word omringd door idioten! Als u wilt om binnen te komen, volg mij gewoon!"

21:36 GyroTech watches as the creature soars off and chases after her. "Hey wait up. Dont fly off and get yourself hurt."

21:37 Liten gets to the right door and points to it "Open het bestand op en naar binnen voordat ik je pijn gedaan!" She threatens him, wanting no more of his sassyness

21:39 GyroTech has a little bit of supprise as she lead him to a door, and upon testing it, it opens to the stairwell. "Oh hey. Thats thats the right door. Maybe you actually are intellengent..." he concedes, patting the flying breezie gently, before heading inside.

21:43 Liten grumbles as she flys up with him, wondering if it was really such a good idea leading him to the door... he only hoped that he wasn't some theif or that he didn't find her tastey.

21:46 GyroTech slowly climbs the stairs, plodding up to the top floor. He gives a knock on the door, pressing his hear to the wood to hear if the mare was home.

21:48 Liten face hooves and drifts over to the stupid stallion "Ze is niet thuis idioot!" She insults him, wondering how such a smart looking stallion could be so dumb

21:53 GyroTech hears nothing inside, only the cursing of the breezie interupting him. He attempts to epen the door only to find it locked. "Hmm...well thats an easy enough fix..." He probes over the metal with his magic, finding the lock and turning it, before heading inside. "Well now you're safe and sound...what did she say your name was?" He puts a hoof to his snout in thought.

21:56 Liten growls at the stallion... he was breaking into the home of her friend! She quickly moved in front of him and glared at him "Stap uit je dief!" She screamed, pointing at the door

21:57 Inky 's attic is hot and smells strongly of dust, books, and Inky herself.

21:59 GyroTech looks at the creature curiously as she blocks his path. "Relax, I'm a close friend. Anyways, I need to make sure you can get back inside and are all safe."

22:01 Liten frowns to him, glaring into his eyes "Hoe kan ik je vertrouwen ... als je niet eens weet hoe je in haar huis in de eerste plaats!" She questions him, screaming ever so loudly

22:03 GyroTech just blinks back. "If you actually are speaking anything but gibberish I can't tell. He nudges her inside the door and closes it behind, staring up the final flight of stairs.

22:04 Liten pushes him away inefectually... she didn't care if he didn't understand her language. She just wanted him out of the house "Stap uit je dom paarden!"

22:07 GyroTech comes up to the final flight of stairs and notices the balcony door open. "Oh...so thats how you escaped the first time. I guess I ought to close theat up..." he says, shutting out her only means of exit from the room. "I wonder where that slimes gotten off too."

22:10 Liten sighs and gives up, flying over to the pillow she calls her bed and laying there... letting the mean stallion do what he wanted.

22:12 GyroTech lets out a long sigh. "I wonder when she's supposed to get back...I guess I'll wait around for a bit before theading out." The unicorn moves over to the book case inspecting what she has while he waits.

22:14 Liten just lays around, sighing and hoping that Inky doesn't get mad at her for bring this jerk into the house

22:15 Inky 's room has a lot of bookshelves. Most of the usable before the ceiling got too low was taken up by bookshelves, except for the corner with her bed, the bathroom, and the corner with her writing desk. The particular one GyroTech chooses to look at ends up being full of histories of Canterlot during various time periods and perspectives.

22:17 GyroTech sticks out his tongue with a bleh. "Man...history...all this is really dry stuff. Does she have any novels?" The unicorn suddenly snickers. "Ooh, I bet she's the type with those dirty romance stories." He begins to search around tryign to find her stash.

22:25 GyroTech looks at all the papers strewn about the desk and notices the topic. Acutally more importantly he notices a drawing that remsembles the butterfly on the pillow. Apperently they are as intellegent as ponies, he reads, skeptically. He hmms at the notes before noticing the journal. "Hmm, her journal. This is kind of tempting..." he mutters, turning it open.

22:29 Inky Gyro flips to the most recently written pages and starts to read. Her journal mentions that she'd made a little progress on teaching Liten Equestrian, and learning some of the breezie's own language, but that progress was slow. She'd requested a book from another library about the language to help, but it hadn't arrived yet. It also says that though Izzel's been very considerate recently, if ...

22:29 Inky ... Liten's really going to live with Inky, she's going to have to find out sooner or later... apparently Inky hadn't told the breezie about the other pony she was hosting.

22:31 GyroTech hmms at this new information, and then flips through the journal, looking for things specifically about himself. "Well...I cant believe that breezy thing doesn't knowa bout izzel yet..."

22:34 Liten grumbles to herself, wondering when inky would get back

22:37 Inky apparently recorded the events from the day she got burned -- even the embarrassing ones. She mentions how she's disappointed with GyroTech for not wanting to tell Naisol. "Though," she writes, "I may take matters--" There's a thump from outside as Inky lands on the balcony, back early. She folds her wings and fiddles with the lock, giving GyroTech just enough time to scramble and try to hide what ...

22:37 Inky ... he was doing, then opens the balcony door. "Hey, Liten! I got that study about your language today and managed to convince them to let me--" She notices GyroTech and pulls back, confused. "Wha- Gyro? What're you doing in my house? How'd you get here?"

22:39 Liten the little breezie got up with a frown, feeling quite bad that she was the reason he got in "Ik liet hem in..." She said very saddly, wishing she wasn't

22:41 GyroTech quicly stashes the book into his mane, hiding it amongst his thick hair, tangling the hairs around it to keep it secure. He was really wanting to borrow it for a bit. "Oh...I was just coming over to see if you wanted to go have fun today since its so nice out, and then I found your pet wandering around outside, so I let myself in to return her."

22:45 Inky nods, smiling. "It is really nice out today, yeah! But Liten's not my pet." She gives GyroTech a disapproving stare. "And you let yourself in? I keep the door to my room locked!" Inky nods at Liten but doesn't really pay her much attention, since she didn't think the little breezie could actually unlock her door.

22:46 Liten sighs and flutters over, resting in her mane as he looks to the stallion... in her little breezie head, she was wondering if she should tell the mare that he has her diary.

22:48 GyroTech shakes his head. "Apperently not the door to your balcony since that was open when I got here. He goes up and gives her a hug. "I figured I'd wait around a bit to see if you'd show up before heading out. It dispaoints me that i couldn't find any novels in here. Is it all dry history stuff?"

22:52 Inky reaches up and gives Liten a few gentle rubs as she settles into her mane. "Yeah, I leave it open so Liten can get out if she wants to... but you can't fly! How'd you get in?" She bristles slightly as GyroTech hugs her. "What'd you look at?" she asks, not too enthused with the idea of GyroTech looking through her stuff while she's not around. "I have a little fiction, but not much. And history is ...

22:52 Inky ... really interesting!"

22:55 GyroTech points over at that bookshelf he'd peeked at full of history stuff. "Just over there. You burst back in before I had a chance to look at anything else. I was really hoping to come across one of those fun romamce novels you know?" He fishes to see whether she'd point him to her stash.

22:56 Liten nods in agreement to the words of the bat mare, she enjoys history as well... if only she could read. But then she thought back to what she was talking about earlier and smiled. She got the book about her language! That means she might be able to speed up their learning. She was wiggling around joyfully. She was completely ignoring Gyro's precence

23:00 Inky giggles and grins as she feels Liten wiggle around in her mane. "You excited about that thing I got, Liten? It's gonna be neat!" She looks back to GyroTech, following where he's pointing. "Gyro, that shelf is full of Canterlot history!" The mare leans forward and squints at it to double check. "Yeah! That's the history of your own home city! How could you find that boring?" She rolls her eyes as ...

23:00 Inky ... he mentions romance novels. "Pah, those aren't really books! I wouldn't keep 'em on a bookshelf."

23:05 GyroTech frowns and lets out an "Awww, I mean youre right...but I was just hoping you read some really trashy novels or something. Do you have /any/ fiction? History is so dry...especailly that of the nobility."

23:12 Inky thinks to herself. "I mean, I have a little. Some classic stuff, I tried to catch up on Equestrian classics when I came to Equestria. But I borrowed most of them, I didn't buy them for myself." She points at a bookshelf across the room. "I keep them over there." A look of realization slowly rolls over her face. "Hey! You never said how you got in here!"

23:16 GyroTech lets out a long sigh. "You only read the classics? But those are all so dry and boring...Modern literature is so much more fun," he laments before answering her question. "Well fine...your breezie led me to the door and I used my magic to turn the lock. When you understand locks like that it doesnt' take much to find the right pieces to jiggle, even if you cant' see them."

23:21 Liten frowns and stops wiggling at the mention of herself. She shrinks back into the hair at the fear of her getting mad at her for leading him inside when she didn't need to. Her worst fear would be to throw her out, even though that was very unlikely

23:23 Inky looks at GyroTech incredulously. "You /broke into/ my house?" She huffs. "Gyro, you're hopeless. And Liten's not /my/ breezie! She has a name, you know!" The bat pony feels the breezie hiding inside her mane, and gives her a few gentle pats. "It's okay, Liten, it's not your fault that Gyro here is such a butt sometimes," she says, giggling.

23:27 GyroTech gives her an innocent smile. "Well...I was returning your bree--err Lite-tin to the house since she escaped. I didn't want her getting hurt..." He really slaughters her name as he says it. "And I am not a butt," he protests upesetedly.

23:30 Liten she pops her head out giggling at the stallion trying to pronounce her name "Zijn kleine windvlaag u 'boot'" She teases the stallion

23:34 Inky rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "Close enough, though she didn't 'escape'. I'm not holding her prisoner!" She doesn't acknowledge GyroTech's protests, though she does giggle as Liten teases him. The mare hefts her saddlebags and walks towards the stairs. "C'mon, let's go enjoy the afternoon! It's really nice out! And maybe we can check out the book I got, Liten!"

23:38 GyroTech shrugs back at her, "Well I thought she was a bit...so of course I thought she'd escaped when she was outside." He gives her a doubtful look as she seems to understand the breezie. "Dos she even speak anything intelligible? It just sounds like gibberish to me." He comments, following her to the door.

23:40 Liten wiggles around happily, cute giggles can be heard from her voice as she does. She always enjoys her time with the mare and has quickly become a bestest friend to her. She never thought she would get so close to larger equines and the idea of finally learning equestrian made her so happy"

23:43 Inky glances back at GyroTech and gives him a serious look. "One last thing, Gyro -- DON'T break into my house if I'm not home. Just, no." Then her typical happy expression returns, and she trots down the stairs. "Well, I can't understand most of it, but sometimes I can pick out a few words! And I've gotten pretty good at guessing from context too." She giggles to herself as she feels Liten wiggling ...

23:43 Inky ... around in her mane, glad that she could make the little creature so happy. "I'm pretty sure she called you a butt too."

23:47 GyroTech stop sin his tracks as she scolds him. "Wh-what? B-but you're always allowd into my house, even when I'm not home...I don't even bother to lock my door." He follows down the stairs after her. "You should quite teaching her bad things like that. I'm not a butt...actually I'm probably cute enough to be a mares butt...if I'm not they're cute little tail."

23:49 Liten turns to him and screams at him "Uw de grootste 'boot' die ik ooit heb gezien. Zo groot dat ik niet zeker weet of je kunt door de deur past!" She was loving this new word and was sure to use it a lot more... it was like a child when it learns a new would, tring to use it all the time.

23:55 Inky stops on the landing and looks up at GyroTech with a curious expression. "I am? You don't?" She tries to process this information. "I mean, I'm not really worried about thieves, but... my room is my space, and I like to know who's in it. And I appreciate your kindness, but I'm not obligated to return a favor I didn't ask for..." She rolls her eyes. "And you're not nearly cute enough to be /my/ ...

23:55 Inky ... butt, that's for sure." Inky laughs at Liten's emphatic screams. "Wow, you really got her riled up!"

23:59 GyroTech meets her on the landing and gives her a soft wack on the rump with his tail. "I suppose not, thats /quite/ tough competition, though I'm definatly not far behind," he points out with a giggle.

00:01 Liten blushes a bit as the stallion completments her voice, calling it cute. That shut her up pretty well as she shrinks back into the mane of the mare bellow "Det er ikke så søt"

00:04 Inky eeps as GyroTech thwacks her plot, her face getting a little pink. Leading him the rest of the way out of the house, she grins. "Maaaybe. I dunno though! And you seem to have shushed Liten pretty well with your compliment. She's a little shy." She giggles.

00:08 GyroTech gives a shrug, giggling at Inky's reaction. "I called it cute earlier and she seemed to have continued to chatter away loudly in it." The unicorn lets Inky go ahead a little while he looks for a bush to stash the journal in, so that he's not accidetnally discovered.

00:10 Liten giggles and bit and whispers into her ear "Han er så frem med deg ... du pare seg med ham mye?" She asked with a very red face on... the red face would tell anypony looking at her that the question was very personal

00:13 Inky happily trots on ahead towards the park, enjoying the warm breeze. She twitches her ear, trying to angle it towards the little breezie. The tufted ear was almost as big as her. "Umm... I don't quite understand," she says, unable to see the Liten's face since she was hiding in her mane. "I don't know any of those words." She glances behind at GyroTech, who's now quite a ways behind them "C'mon, ...

00:13 Inky ... Gyro you slowpoke!"

00:16 GyroTech manages to hide the journal and jumps at Inky's words. "Yep, I'll be righ there," he says, trotting up to her. I just saw this pretty flower and figured it would look great tucked into your mane. Plus, the butterfly will probably like the scent." The unicorn giggles, tucking a pretty blue flower next to Inky's ear.

00:17 Liten takes the flower and actually starts eating it... she is a pony and she is hungry so when a nice meal is put next to her whats to stop her from eating it. She hoped that the mare wouldn't mind it

00:19 Inky giggles. "Aww, thanks Gyro! That's sweet!" Since Liten's right next to her ear, she picks up the sounds of the breezie starting to munch on the flower, and giggles some more. "I don't think the scent is all she likes!"

00:21 GyroTech frowns as he notices part the breezy begining to chomp down on the flower. He gives her a firm swat on the head, "Hey, that flower is for the mare, not for you gullet," he scolds as they walk on.

00:22 Liten dodges the swat which ends up hitting the mare on the head, after dodging it she moves back to eat the flower, enjoying the meal that was in front of her

00:25 Yao-Guai snerks some as she sleeps under a large weeping willow, the massive ursa-equinis scratching her belly some in her sleep, before rolling over onto her back, and starting to snore, rather loudly, the flowering branches of the willow moving in and out from her large breaths

00:29 Inky pulls away from GyroTech as he swats her, glaring at him. "Hey! Don't try to hit her!" She softly pats Liten with a hoof. "Let her eat it! Flowers are pretty tasty, y'know." The mare trots into the park, paying no mind to Yao-Guai sleeping a ways away, and sits down, nosing into her saddlebags to find something.

00:32 GyroTech gives a loud groan of irritation at both Inky and the breezie. "I mean yes...but its worth so much more to see it in your mane than in that Light-tan's gullet." The unicorn hasn't noticed the baer pony as he lays down next to Inky.

00:34 Liten eats it all, laying back and rubing her belly with a sigh, giving a small cute berp "Unnskyld meg" She said with a blush before spoting the weird bear pony, floating over to investigate her "Hva er dette?"

00:35 Yao-Guai snerks again and waves a hoofclaw lazily, rolling back onto her side, both parts of her heritage are quite clear, amongst other things, as she continues to snore, she sleeps alot it would seem, and sleeps very, very heavily

00:37 Inky finds what she's looking for, pulling out a book, when she feels Liten lift off her head. Looking up, carefully holding the book in her mouth, she sees the breezie flying over to Yao-Guai and pieces together what she must have said. The bat pony tucks her book under a wing and walks after Liten. "Oh, that's Yao-Guai, Liten! She's asleep though, I dunno if we should wake her up..." She trails off, ...

00:37 Inky ... not wanting to disturb the large pony.

00:39 GyroTech notices the Breezie fly off,a dn then further notices the creatures to which she was indicating to. "Yes, please don't wake it...I really don't wanna deal with it today..." The unicorn says nervously. He then turns to look over Inky's shoulder to see what she had brought.

00:43 Liten didn't heed the warnings of the stallion but did hear the strange creature's name "Yau.... Yau-gooy..." She tried to pronouce before going up to the ear of the creature and saying "Hei 'Yau-gooy'!"

00:44 Yao-Guai snerks some and lifts her head, her solid yellow eyes blinking as she looks around "Stoic?" she asks unsure of the new voice, or where it came from before she notices Inky and GyroTech "Hello Inky....and Jerk" she says "Enjoying having to dig way out of house from chestnuts yet?" she asks pointedly at GyroTech

00:47 GyroTech rolls his eyes at her. "SO thats you who keeps doing it? I just arranged to have somepony sell them to the market for me every morning. They were more than happy enough to take them away for a large proffit...I probably shouldn't of told you that...now you're gonna go eat my friend now arnt you"

00:49 Inky waves a hoof at Yao-Guai. "Hiya, Yao-Guai! Sorry to wake you, but my friend Liten wanted to meet you! I think she's around by your ear." The mare watches Liten and Yao-Guai uneasily, a little worried about how the tiny breezie would fare so close to the giant bear pony. "And Gyro, Yao-Guai, please! Let's all be civil here." She tries to settle down the two of them, not wanting to see them fight.

00:52 Liten the little breezie floats up in front of what she thinks is creature's face "Hei!" She calls out, so happy to meet new ponies in hopes that they will be as nice as the mare was to her "Er du fin, 'Yau-gooy'?"

00:55 Yao-Guai looks at the little breezy and tilts her head before hearing what GyroTech said and turning to him, growling "I do not eat people!" she rumbles out "I try to be nice, but you only try to be mean" she adds on "Maybe I should put something much less good, use your home as toilet" she says, smirking wickedly before looking down at Inky "I will not attack him, I am not a monster"

00:59 Inky looks up at the big bear-pony. "I know! But insults aren't gonna help either!" she says crossly. "Anyway, Yao-Guai, this is Liten" -- she points to the tiny creature in front of Yao-Guai's head -- "and Liten, this is Yao-Guai!"

01:00 GyroTech couln't let such a threat go ignored and so ingores inky. He smirks back confidently. "Go ahead and do that. I'm sure the authorities would then turn a blind eye to a beast suddenly getting infected with more poison joke. After all, that would show that you're nothing more than a beast."

01:02 Liten ingores what the mean stallion said and tries to get the bear pony to do the same by hugging the snout of the bear pony "Det er så hyggelig å møte deg, 'Yau-gooy'~" She says oh so cheerfully

01:06 Yao-Guai goes to say something, but is interupted by the tiny breezy, and stops, not wanting to hurt the tiny thing "I do not get?" she says tilting her head slightly to the side, her brow furrowing as she looks at the thing

01:07 Inky shakes her head in exasperation as GyroTech and Yao-Guai continue to spar. "You two are making a /terrible/ first impression, you know!" She sighs and pushes her feelings away, smiling at Yao-Guai brightly. "Liten's a breezie! They're tiny little critters from far away. She doesn't have a home right now, so she's living with me!"

01:12 GyroTech grins smuggly at Yao-Guai when she doesnt respond. The unicorn then snuggles up against Inky. "I'll be as nice as she is...for you Inky. What is that you've got there? I saw you pull a book out."

01:14 Liten floats away with the cutest giggle, floating around to take in her large body before flying back to her face "Du ser skummelt men handle veldig hyggelig, jeg liker deg 'Yau-gooy'"

01:16 Yao-Guai blinks. "Huh?" she asks confused, still looking at the breezy "You are Liten?" she asks nosing at the tiny thing gently before turning toward Inky "If need home, could stay with I, no one risk I getting mad to try and hurt tiny Liten, very safe, I gentle with things that not mean"

01:22 Inky sighs, then wraps her other wing around GyroTech tightly. A little too tightly, in fact, her thumb-claw digging into his side unpleasantly. She pulls the book out, flipping it open onto a hoof. "This is a copy of the best and most thorough research ever done on breezies! It has a partial dictionary of their language, for instance, and other stuff that'll be really useful for helping Liten learn ...

01:22 Inky ... how to speak Equestrian -- or for me to learn how to speak her language!" Inky flips through the book excitedly. "That's nice of you to offer, Yao-Guai, but we already have a nice set-up at my place! And I'm gonna help her learn Equestrian and all that so she can talk to other ponies!"

01:24 GyroTech grimaces as the nail digs deep into his side and shuffles closer to her, trying to relieve the pressure. "Why would you wanna speak they're language...wouldn't it be easier for everypony for her to just learn the propper language?" He turns to Yao-Guai and says acidicly, "Yep. We wouldn't want to teach a new pony broken equestrian afterall."

01:27 Liten nuzzles up against the large pony, she was happy to meet another so sweet and kind. In fact, she would trust her with her life at this moment "Ignorer ham, snakker du stor~" Said truthfully, wishing she could speak it as well as she could.

01:30 Yao-Guai nods, understanding ignore and assuming ham meant him "Not worth time" she replies to the tiny breezy "You not from here either, where come from?" she asks before looking to Inky "You help I speak better too?" she asks "Stoic help, but, Stoic busy lots"

01:33 Inky looks at GyroTech. "Well, it'd be neat to learn their language! And if I ever met any other breezie, I could understand them too!" She jabs him with her claw as he makes a dig at Yao-Guai's speech patterns. "I could try!" she says, looking back up at Yao-Guai. "I dunno how good of a teacher I'd be, though." The mare scuffs the ground with a hoof.

01:38 GyroTech lets out a slight yelp as Inky digs that claw in even deeper. "Hey! I'm being nice. I'm protecting the breezie from learing to speak badly." The unicorn looks into the book curiously.
