Meeting The New Adopted Filly

16:37 GyroTech stirs from his bed

16:38 Borealis Look at that GyroTech

16:39 GyroTech states back at the filly, wondering what shes doing by herself and in his house for that matter

16:40 Borealis is just idly batting a woven grass ball between her hooves

16:41 GyroTech magically picks up the ball and puts it on a top shelf

16:42 Borealis pouts and flails her hooves at GyroTech

16:43 GyroTech plays innocent. "whats wrong girl?"

16:43 Borealis says "I want my ball back..."

16:44 GyroTech responds "I dont see any ball...and why are ya in my house?"

16:45 Borealis shrugs. "Door was unlocked, and it was gonna rain."

16:47 GyroTech pulls open the curtains and looks outside. Sure enough, it was raining quite hard. "Ughh those darn featherbrains" the unicorn swears.

16:48 Borealis asks "So can I have my ball back?"

16:50 GyroTech groans, "Ughh fine." He rolls it off onto her gead.

16:52 Borealis squees and bounces it upwards with her noggin before rolling over and catching it with her hooves and running in place to get the ball spinning

16:54 GyroTech stares at her playing with it, before freezing the ball in place just for fun.

16:55 Borealis kicks at the ball a little. "... Hey!"

16:56 GyroTech tosses the ball down the hallway. "Fetch!" he shouts with glee

16:57 Borealis flips over and scampers after her ball

16:59 GyroTech giggles at her. "Make sure to bring it back."

17:03 Borealis trots back in with the ball balanced on her head

17:05 GyroTech smiles and picks it up, preparing to toss it again. "Hey...you're a unicorn...couldn't you of grabbed ut yourself earlier? Or is your magic not developed enough yet?"

17:06 Borealis looks up at her ring-circled horn, her ears folding back. "I can't use my magic..."

17:11 GyroTech hmms as he looks at the ring on her head. "Oh...is that some sort of magic lock? Well, working with metal is my specialty, I can probably take care of that for you."

17:13 Borealis blinks up at him. "L-Last time somepony messed with it, it hurt my head..."

17:14 GyroTech shakes his head. "Don't worry, this only affects the metal itself, its not like I'm gonna try and melt it off or anything."

17:16 Borealis stutters, "A-Are you sure?"

17:17 GyroTech nods again, "Yep, shouldn't do anything to you asd long as its not magically linked to pain receptors or something like that."

17:19 Borealis gulps. "A-And if it is?"

17:20 GyroTech shrugs, "Then you'll scream like a little filly and I'll stop."

17:21 Borealis gulps again and flicks her wings a little

17:22 GyroTech gives her a bright smile. "Well, are you ready?"

17:24 Borealis is hesitant "I-I guess so..." She doesn't sound very sure

17:26 GyroTech ignores her hesitation and begins to focus on the ring, igoring the crack and trying to cut a new way through. His magic works into the metal and if successful should begin to produce a clean cut.

17:28 Borealis whimpers and squirms uneasily as his magic works against the unusually strong metal of the rung

17:28 < Borealis> *ring

17:30 GyroTech gets up from his bed finally and wraps himself around the filly, holding her tight, both to comfort her, and prevent her from leaving. He continues to pour his magic into the ring, feeling jus the start of a cut appearing in it.

17:35 Borealis whines and wiggles in his grasp, her ears folding back flat against her head

17:37 GyroTech holds her even tighter now, after finding the cut, it should be easier for him to finish the cutting all the way through. The unicorn sweats from the strain, his damp fur resting against the alicorn.

17:39 Borealis squirms even harder. "Nnngggh! It hurts...!"

17:42 GyroTech continues to press on, heedless of her complaints. It wasn't right that a unicorn be bound by such evil magic and he would take it off regardless. He grasps as tight as he can, tring to prevent the filly from being able to struggle at all.

17:48 Borealis clenches her eyes shut and struggles as best she could, which isn't much. "No... Stop... It hurts too much!"

17:49 GyroTech ignores her pleas. He can feel himself finally getting to the core magical part of the ring. The pain picks up quite a bit more as he saws through it. "This is for your own good..." he mutters.

17:51 Borealis screams in pain, tears rolling down her cheeks with each burning spear of agony rips through her head

17:55 GyroTech falters for just a second, startled by the suddens scream, the spell flickering before he manages to regain control. After a couple long minutes he severs the core and the ring, leaving a nice clear seperation. "Don't worry...we're almost done," he says, patting the sobbing screaming filly on her back.

17:56 Borealis sobs, covering her eyes with her hooves and flinching a little at the pats, her body covered in a cold sweat

17:58 GyroTech switches to a shapping spell and begins to bend the metal outwards, slowly pulling apartart the metal at the cut, trying to expose a big enough hole for her horn to fit through.

17:59 Borealis yelps and twitches as more pain slams into her like a brick, the metal trying to resist the pull

18:02 GyroTech grimaces as the pony goes into even more pain, but he knows it'll be better in the end. Finally, the metal opens up and he attempts to pull the ring off.

18:03 Borealis groans and whimpers softly, the ring still refusing to budge from her horn

18:06 GyroTech grimaces and frowns as the object still doesnt budge. "I guess I'll just have to peel it off then. Sorry about this..." He continues his shaping spell, the pain increasing the further outward the ring bends. He was basically trying to turn the ring into a flat bar at this point to leverage it off.

18:07 Borealis screams again, the metal bending only slightly before refusing to move for the unicorn. "S-Stop!! Y-You're gonna break my h-horn!"

18:09 GyroTech comes up agains the test of his limits and after pushing just a little harder, lets the spell drop. He rubs the back of the filly and nuzzles at her. "I'm...I'm sorry sweetie...I just don't have the ability...I might be able to melt it off...but that would likely melt you're horn as well and we cant have that..." He says, quite sadly.

18:11 Borealis buries her face against his neck and trembles softly, the poor filly soaked with sweat and her eyes red from crying.

18:15 GyroTech continues to stroke and comfort her. "It should of worked..." He realizes he's still hugging her in a vice grip and loosens up so that she can move and even get away if she wanted.

18:15 Borealis sniffles and looks up at him, the metal of the ring having somehow bent back together, though the cut was still visibly there

18:18 GyroTech lets out an exasperiated sigh as the ring unbends. "What? No...It cant be...it managed to return to the old form..."

18:21 Borealis 's eyes widen. "W-What!?"

18:23 GyroTech still seems quite stunned. "My cut's still there but it seems to have unbent?! I don't know what magic this is...

18:25 Borealis looks very confused and scared, her bloodshot eyes staring up at him

18:27 GyroTech just shakes his head. "How could this of happened to you? Why havn't you'r parents taken care of this for you? Thats really not good at all...Dont' tell me they did this?"

18:29 Borealis shook her head. "N-No... Ponies brought me here... To this town... They put it on me... S-so I couldn't fight back..."

18:32 GyroTech finally notices the feathers as he lets his hooves fall from her. "Wait...you're an alicorn filly? Where did you come from? Who foalnapped you?"

18:36 Borealis sniffles. "F-Far north... And these... Ponies wearing dark clothes came into my room one night... A-And then I woke up in a small cage on a boat..."

18:39 GyroTech shakes his head in disbelief. "Thats just horrible...I take it you don't have a place to stay then? I know somewhere that is nice and hidden from the world. Somewhere noone will be able to find you if you go."

18:44 Borealis asks "B-But what about my friends? M-Mister Resonant, or mister Stoic?"

18:46 GyroTech chuckles and shakes his head. "I dont mean that you go there forever, only that you can live there and be safe whilst you sleep or you're scared. Its quite easy to get back to this realm."

18:51 Borealis rubs her nose a little. "S-Safe?"

18:54 GyroTech says "Well...I'm assuming those ponies are still after you if you're now an escaped princess. They'll want their prize back."

18:54 Borealis nods slightly. "Y-Yeah..."

18:56 GyroTech responds "So...do you wanna be able to sleep where they'll never be able to find you?"

18:59 Borealis nods a few times

19:00 GyroTech girns back, "Well, follow me. I'm Gyro Tech by the way, but you can just call my Gyro."

19:00 GyroTech begins walking to a small closet in the house.

19:01 Borealis scampers after Gyro. "I-I'm Borealis..."

19:02 GyroTech throws open the closet and touches his horn to a large metal ring, which springs to life with a portal. "I'm not quite sure how to nonmagically activate it, but my marefriend knows. I'm sure she's at home." The unicorn steps through the portal.

19:05 Borealis blinks in confusion at the device, poking her hoof at the portal

19:06 Naisol was simply in her room... reading one of those ancient books that she finds on her travels... and an other book on its side. seemed like a dictionary. on a way... she was simply translating and trying to understand the book... not long before she hears the zap from the portal?. "uh?... that must be... Gyro~. ehehe... I'll just wait" smiles now as she keeps reading

19:06 GyroTech waits paitently on the other side of the portal for the filly. As soon as her hoof breaks the portal walls she is instantly transported to the other realm, the experience making her queezy and dizzy.

19:07 Borealis meeps and staggers to keep her balance, looking a bit more sickly green than her normal color

19:08 Naisol had a nice wooden carved door up front and the ring behind... the floor had a hay pile for poonies to land once they warp throw

19:14 GyroTech pats the filly on the head as she recovers and then urges her on into the main room. "Naisol! I'm back. Also, don't be mad but I've aquired a little filly that needs to be kept safe. He walks into the room as is supprised to see her actually reading, having pretty much taken her for an action mare. "Ooh, what cha looking at there?"

19:16 Borealis groans weakly and walks after Gyro, her head still spinning

19:18 Naisol perks up on how GyroTech yells her name and giggles faintly. not long before GyroTech enters her room just to get a faint scent of the mare scent?... that room always smelled like her. she blinks and does an annoyed gesture "Who you brought this time... a filly?... So now you are kidnapping foals GyroTech?" grunts and stands up slowly "Just... trying to understand how some locks work in some... ...ruins... and some trap systems along... who cares!. why you brought a filly?. explain..."

19:21 GyroTech gestures to Borealis, "Naisol, this is Borealis, Borealis, this is Naisol." Rolling his eyes at Naisol, he asks, "Did I bring this time? I've never brought anypony in here besides Lupine who was unconsious at the time. This girl here was foalnapped, yes, but not by me. I've brought her here so that she can be safe from those evil ponies."

19:24 Borealis finally managed to focus her vision enough to see Naisol and give the mare a shy wave from her wing

19:28 Naisol blinks and looks at Borealis as soon she is in her field of vision... her expressions dies in a manner of seconds and GyroTech voice fades away to silence... blinks again as memories began to flash of her past... she does notice how the cute little alicorn waves a her wing~ but... as much she wanted to say hi she was frozen in thoughts!... she easily stays in trans for a good minute or... ...two... shakes her head and bats the side of her head "errr... bo-bo-borealis?. thats a cute little name you have there!. So nice to meet yah!" smiles slowly as she could not stop getting bombarded with thoughts... Naisol evidently turning pale

19:30 GyroTech tilts his head curiously as the mare goes still and silent. He was excepting her to either be skeptically welcoming or to blow up at him, but no tthis. Gyro waves his arms in front of Naisol when she finally comes to. "Whats wrong my dear...you're looking quite pale and frightented." The unicorn leans down and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

19:31 Borealis blinks a little. "D-Did I do something wrong?"

19:34 Naisol shudders by the kiss that GyroTech planted and pulls away a bit awkwardly... "I... no. nothing is wrong... just..." blinks on what Borealis says and smiles shyly at her "nonon!... you done nothing wrong!. I... I am just so... so happy to see such a cute little filly like you!" grins at her for a bit... her eyes get faintly watery at the aspect of Borealis... in a way... Naisol felt looking... ...at a mirror of herself inside Borealis... "I... I will keep her safe GyroTech. Ill be sure to keep her safe." looks at GyroTech with a joyish smile and pekcs his cheek back

19:39 GyroTech lets out a long sigh of relief as she agrees to help him care for the filly. "I know I said we were too young to have foals...but I just couldn't leave her out there like that. Thank you." He gives Naisol another kiss on the cheek. "Now...I don't actually know how to activate the portal normally...so if you could demonstrate for her...since that ring is blocking her magic."

19:42 Borealis sniffles a little and rubs her nose again. "T-Thank you..."

19:49 Naisol smiles nervously "ehehe.... silly gyro..." blushes a bit by the kiss and nuzzles him in return "ehehe... I dont even know how you activate the portal. I simply say the 'magical words' to activate it... so is either way. you show her how to use the horn or Ill show her how to use the tongue" blinks and smiles joyfully at Borealis "no problem!. you are more than welcome to stay as long as you... ...want!" grins

19:52 GyroTech shakes his head back at her. "I just told you she cant do it with her horn. Its blocked unfortunatly. I don't know how you do it either. I've never paid that much attention when its so much easier to just use it magically. Cmon, lets go show her." Gyro turns to walk back over to the portal.

19:54 Borealis flicks her ears a little and listens on in confusion

19:59 Naisol grins and goes towards the ring as well... as the three ponies stood there up front of it. Naisol nods to herself and gently pulls Borealis close "its very easy..." she taps the portal with her hoof while whispering something very low... almost like if she said nothing, the portal closes "ok... I want you to touch the ring... and simply say... "Thoariftall~" as she spoke that out loud... the... ...ring zaps on to reality"woops!... ehehe... "Ender..." then closes again...

20:01 Borealis meeps and shies back a little from the portal. "I-I dunno..."

20:02 GyroTech stands there, not really paying attention as Naisol demonstrates it. "Now you always want to come out of this portal, because the other one is probably quite dangerous. I have know clue where this pony decided to leave it this time. It could be millions mof miles outside of equestria for all I know.

20:07 Naisol blinks and nods on what GyroTech says "yes... only and always use this one..." derps and humms thinking... she looks at Borealis a bit worried "Its not hard... well... it is hard but. its for your own good?..." humms "just say Thoariftall!" zaps the portal to reality "then Ender!" closes...

20:11 Borealis blinks and touches the portal. "T-Thoariftal?"

20:13 Naisol grins but the portal does not react... at all!... "oh?... errr... try again?" says sweetly at Borealis to try to motivate her

20:14 GyroTech frowns as he looks on. "Did she not say it right?"

20:15 Borealis blinks a little. "T-Thoariftal?"

20:18 Naisol blinks and frowns.. "she is saying it right..." the ring does not react at all again... "errr... well... this rings... are bond to me in the end..." sighs and glares at GyroTech "or you know a sertain spell that allows you to brake in to my realm" does a scrunchy face and sighs "we need a better plan now"

20:20 GyroTech shrugs, "I dont' know whats going on. I just kind of touch them with my horn and activate them. I"ve never actually closed the portals either. They just seem to eventually close on their own."

20:22 GyroTech perks up as he has a thought. "Oh, yall could do a blood ritual and bind yourselves to each other. That might work."

20:23 Naisol humms on what GyroTech says... the blinks on the last thing, perking up in confusion "WHAT!?... are you nuts!. no!... I am not cutting any scrape on this filly!" grunts and hugs Borealis "We should scrape a piece off your horn so Borealis can use it to enter this realm. what about thtat!"

20:27 GyroTech shakes his head. "Well itsmore than just me touching it with my horn. It also involves a small spell...something she cant currently do. Otherwise I'd teach it to her."

20:31 Borealis shifts a little. "A-Am I doing something wrong? I thought I was saying it right..."

20:35 Naisol blinks and frowns "you are saying it right!... its that... its weird to explain..." rolls her eyes at GyroTech "I was being sarcastic... but no... I dont even know how a blood pact works but whatever" looks at the ring a bit close and frowns "I need to investigate... maybe I need to bond this filly to the ring... I may not know how"

20:37 GyroTech gives a little bit of a huff. "A blood pact would bond her to you...its one of the simplest blood spells, just requiring an eschange of blood from both parties and a blood offering to the spirits. It basically just gives each other a little bit of essence from the other."

20:42 Borealis tilts her head. "That sounds painful..."

20:50 Naisol blinks and does as scrunchy face "spirits?... that sounds fishy and painful..." pouts

21:02 GyroTech shakes his head. "It'll be much less painful than what you went through this morning little filly. As far as fishy, blood magic is one of the oldest magics, before even us unicorns. Its all fine, the price they demand is susually reasonable given the gift, from what I understand. Lupine or our Stripey frined may know more."

21:03 Naisol hummms and grunts "I dont know GyroTech... I hate magic... theres always that secod thing you dont know and that is painful or wathever" pouts and nuzzles Borealis mane

21:07 Borealis whimpers softly. "I-I don't wanna hurt again..."

21:09 GyroTech sighs as they continue to protest. "Dont yall wanna keep Borealis safe? She can't stay here if she's trapped...and plus, the price will probably be something along the lines of you being asked to take care of her, given the intention of the act."

21:12 Naisol blinks and shift her eyes "she wont be trapped... she will just... stay at home?... with the doors locked or something" derps and hugs Borealis close "dont worry..." looks at GyroTech "I had clense... so many spirits... they all had been evil... I... Just... nervous about this GyroTech " pouts

21:18 Borealis shivers a little at the mention of locked doors. "I don't wanna be locked in either..."

21:19 GyroTech puts a hoof to his chin. "Ok...spirits isn't probably the right turn for this...its like the intention of magic I suppose? The energy itself has an intention I suppose? It strives for balance and the price could either be something from your or a task from you...You'll know what it wants when you cast the spell."

21:22 Naisol blinks and sighs... pats Borealis mane and looks GyroTech "oh geezzz... I am not sure if I can handle it... errr... fine. Lets see how this goes then..." looks at Borealis "ill take care of yah... are you up to the pact?..."

21:27 Borealis nods, looking nervous. "Y-Yeah..."

21:30 GyroTech gives a weak smile to the two of them. "This is kind of exciting, I've never cast blood magic before, but tis supposed to be fairly easy, especially this one...Do you have an knife Naisol?"

21:31 Naisol blinks at GyroTech and sighs "err... yeah... plenty of them actually" does as scrunchy face and heads to the main hall... "come along... dont wnat to spill any blood on the ring..." humms as she pulls out a knife out of her trash pile

21:35 GyroTech follows along watching. "Allright, so its supposed to be as simple as cutting a gashin in a leg, and pressing the cuts together, whilst swearing sisterhood or mother daughterhood to each other...So...just do that."

21:36 Naisol blinks and looks at Borealis "Sisterhood or mother and daughterhood?..." blinks "why not just... friendly pact or something?... I... I just meet this filly a few minutes ago GyroTech..." does as crunchy face

21:51 Borealis blinks up at Naisol. "I-I like that idea..."

21:53 GyroTech shakes his head. "Thats not really the type of pact that will work..."

21:56 Naisol does a gesture and sighs "errr... GyroTech... If I regret this... I am going to make you regret all this as well!" grunts and quickly pulls the knife!... slowly but carefully cuts the top section of her heal

22:01 Borealis winces at the sight, her wings flapping nervously

22:03 GyroTech nudges Borealis forward towards Naisol. "Cmon, lets get this over with. The sooner the better."

22:04 Naisol blinks at Borealis and smiles shyly at her "eerrr... just look away sweety~" smiles again as she hides the knife... "Promise. wont hurt that much

22:05 Borealis whimpers a little as she walks over, closing her eyes

22:06 GyroTech brushes her mane comfortingly. "I'll be fine, don't worry."

22:07 Naisol smiles shyly again and simply.... pokes her wrist quite swiftly!... doing quite a small cut on her hoof "There!.... all done!" does a scrunchy face as her heal was bleeding and dripping as much as Naisols

22:08 Borealis yelps and tugs her hoof away slightly

22:10 GyroTech grabs both of their hooves and thrusts the cuts together, pressing tightly. "Alright Naisol...Borealis, Swear your blood pact now."

22:11 Naisol blinks and winces a bit on how hard GyroTech was doing it?!? "heey!... calm..." blinks and sighs " Borealis... want me as a mother or a sister" does a scrunchy face at her

23:01 Borealis blinks. "U-Uh... Um..." She stammers, kinda confused
