Running into a Library Bat

04:15 Inky finds her way into the market; the first time she's actually been there before it closed. Staring wide-eyed at all the stalls and wares being proffered, she doesn't notice where she's going as she steps around a corner and directly into GyroTech and Naisol

04:17 Naisol walks along side GyroTech with a warm smile~... not putting much attention since she was with Gyro~... every time she found something sweet she quickly teased GyroTech by whispering at his ear "I bet that will taste good on you~... no. That one!~. that will enhance it~" giggles and blinks as a new mare pops onfront?... does a poker face as she lets GyroTech do the talking

04:20 GyroTech lets out an oof as he's knocked into, steping back a second. He turns up to look at the offending pony with a scowl, "Hey watch--" He goes quiet and his scowl turns to a smile as he begins to take in the site of the mare.

04:22 Inky picks herself up off the ground, scrambling to her hooves. "Ah! Sorry! Pardon me. Wasn't paying attention." she blurts out quickly, before giving an apologetic smile. Her smile reveals a pair of small fangs. Quickly the embarrassment of walking into them disappears from her, overtaken by excitement. "Hey, do you two live here? I'm Inky! I'm new here. What're your names?"

04:25 Naisol blinks on how she reacts. making her giggle "hey its all ok~" smiles and tilts her head "yah new... Im fairly new too... Gyro here knows about this place like the sole of his hoof!" snickers and nods "well`... I am Naisol. Naisol Tharon~

04:31 GyroTech reaches up and dusts a little bit of dirt out of her mane, beaming an intrigued smile at her. His tail swishes a bout a little as he speaks to the mare. "Oh, dont worry about it, you look worse for wear than I do. Anyways, yep, I've lived here for about a year. Names Gyro Tech, but please call me gyro"

04:35 Inky says "Nice to meet you, Gyro and Naisol!" She beams, blinking as he brushes dust out of her bangs. Her back mane is tied up in a messy bun. "I've only lived a couple of places since coming south. Each of them was kinda weird in their own way; it's great!"

04:40 Naisol looks at GyroTech from the corner of her eye "Hey... be polite..." smiles up to inky "Your mane looks fine~... Mine gets like that every now then... that's if my mane does not look like it just now~" hummms and responds "you come from the south?... thats a place to come~. Not sure if Canterloot it's a place you will enjoy..." smiles shyly

04:45 GyroTech rolls his eyes at Naisols comment before turning back to Inky, "It looks more than fine, its downright adorable on you. So you're from north huh? I didn't think that the childeren of Luna left their homeland much but this makes two of you that have ventured here recetnly."

04:47 Inky giggles at Naisol. "No, I came from the mountains in the north! That's why I came south to get here. Well, south, then west a bit, then some southwest, but you get the idea." She pauses, then does a double take. "Wait, there's another bat pony here? Really? Oh wow!" She hops up and down excitedly. "I had no idea! There's not many of us in Equestria proper yet, even after Princess Luna's return."

04:52 Naisol nods at her and shift her eyes a bit... sad as memories fly around "y-y-eah. she is a nice vampony~... I had meet quite a few on the northenlands. there a small towns around and about" grins shyly

04:58 GyroTech nods, "Yep she's some sort of political exhile, but she's a pretty fun pony. Maybe you'll stumble across her around here." Gyro thinks about it for a second before continuing, "Hey, I bet your tired from your long journey, come to my place and I'll get you something to eat." Gyro saddles up beside her, letting his tail brush lightly against her fur.

05:00 Inky snorts. "'Vampony'? Ha! What kind of silly stuff has she been telling you?" She shakes her head. "You know we don't ACTUALLY do that whole sneak into rooms at night and suck ponies' blood stuff, right? Fruits, though..." Inky gets a wistful look in her yellow, slitted eyes. Completely oblivious to GyroTech's antics, she turns to him. "You wouldn't happen to have any... mangoes, would you?"

05:10 Naisol blinks and does a scrunchy face "errr.... around and about?" giggles nervously and does her scrunchy face again "ehehe... I dont know. I hope I had not got bitten..." looks away nervous and leans on GyroTech

05:12 GyroTech nudges Naisol hard for saying something so rund. "Oh dont mind her, shes just a little nervous around new ponies." He comments, draping a foreleg around her back. "But yes, I got some new mangoes yesterday, fresh from the Stripey nation accross the sea."

05:19 Inky jumps into the air with a squee, throwing GyroTech's foreleg off her back in the process. "Yes! I love mangoes!" She flaps her leathery wings to hang there for a few seconds, then lands somewhat gracefully. "You mean Zebrica? I don't think they appreciate being called that..."

05:24 Naisol blinks by all the sudden commotion... "I... I have some strawberries in my bag?..." smiles shyly again before leaning again on GyroTech... not minding getting nudged at all by the stallion as she continued to feel under the two Ponies now

05:29 GyroTech giggles at Inky's reaction, before frowning slightly at her admonishment, "Ya, I suppose so..." He is so engrosed in the bat pony that he doesn't notice that she was feeling left out. "Strawberries? Those dont compare to fresh ripe mangos! Lets head back to the workshop." He drapes his hoof around Inky once again, this time helping to lead her towards his house.

05:34 Inky lets Gyro point her in the right direction, but makes no effort to keep his forleg around her. "Strawberries are okay, but they can't hold a candle to a ripe, juicy mango! Lead the way, er, Gyro!" She walks jauntily. "Also... workshop? Are you a craftspony? What kind of stuff do you make?"

05:41 Naisol blinks and nods slowly... pulling her hoof away from her bag as she was just about to pull the fruit out "oh!... ok~." smiles nervously and blinks at GyroTech "wait what?... but..." whispers at his ear "We just barely meet her!... and she is a vampony!" pouts but he still walked forward.. "Gyrooo!!!" squeaks and walks behind the two with a worried expression now

05:44 GyroTech sighs to himself as his hoof slides off once again, the pony completly oblivious to his advances. He instead contetns himself with walking close and ocasionally brushing his tail with hers. Gyro bite his lip as Naisol speaks to him, "What are you talking about? Just look at her, you can tell she's a nice pony. Quit being racist."

05:46 Inky doesn't hear the two of them whispering, as she keeps spouting questions for GyroTech. "Do you make wood stuff, or work in metal? Furniture? Toys? Decorations?"

05:51 Naisol gasp on what GyroTech says... frowns and snarls a bit "how..." rumbles as she did not want to make a big deal out of it since... well... there was a guest... lets out a long sigh and simply walks behind them with a pissed off expression along with faint snarls and mummbles...

05:53 GyroTech returns his attention to their guest, skipping along in her presence. "I'm a bit of an engineer, I make heavy machinery and the like. Mostly things for boats that come into the dock here, steering contraptions, cranes that a mud pony can opperate and the like." He beams proudly as he speaks to her, not even noticing his slip up in Naisols prescence.

05:58 Inky can't help but skip a little bit as well; GyroTech's enthusiam is infections and it doesn't take much to push Inky into happy skipping territory. "Boats? Ah, right! That sounds important. Did you know that Equestria has historically not had that much trade with other nations? All of this industry stuff is a fairly recent development. Well, recent in decades, at least." Her ears flatten a little at hearing "mud pony", but she doesn't say anything.

06:02 Naisol rolls her eyes and mimics GyroTech mouth when he talks like when a kid is annoyed... she then notices GyroTech house and smiles up a bit... "well... I..." looks around and gets an idea "I have to go the bathroom!" she dashes on to GyroTech house. Opens the door before slamming it close!... sighs and frowns "Racist... I hope Inky bites his guts out for not hearing me out!.... then I will heal... ...him after stuffing him down my gullet!" snarls and walks towards the bathroom as she keeps ranting about

06:05 GyroTech shrugs as Naisol dashes off, her words suddenly drawing attention to teh fact that they were infact here. "Well, this is home. The workshops just over there." he indicates towards a large shed that was attached to the house. They were on the outskirts of Seaddle away from ponies whom would be bothered by his noisy work. Nudging open the door, he turns to Inky with a grin, "Well, come on in."

06:08 Inky admires the house, stepping through the door and inside. "Very nice! I just have a little rented attic near the library. It's cozy, though." She looks around eagerly. "So... you mentioned mangoes?"

06:13 Naisol rants in the bathroom as before stomping the ground annoyed!... sighs and smiles as an idea pops up!~. smiles micheviously and grins

06:16 GyroTech gives her a wink, "Yep let me go grab a couple, just wait here." Gyro walks off to the kitchen, shaking his rump deliberatly before returning with a couple of mangos moments later. He smirks as and sits down on the couch. "Now, you don't have to eat the mangos if you'd perfer something else. I'm familiar with your customs and dont mind, it kinda feels pleasant." Gyro gives her a nod and bares his neck out to Inky,

06:21 Inky sits on a convenient cushion as GyroTech goes to fetch some mangoes. Her tail swishes excitedly as he returns. When GyroTech presents his neck, Inky blinks. And blinks again. "What??" She jumps up from the pillow, wings half-extended. "Where did you get that idea? I only just met you! Our customs? Feels kind of pleasant? What have you been DOING with that other bat pony?"

06:28 Naisol snickers faintly before she looks at a very odd scene... GyroTech exposing his neck at Inky while inky was standing up with her wagging tail!... Inky mouth was open in mid speech... she frowns "Gyro!... Just... really?!" growls and takes a deep breath before lifting her head up very indignant!... "Fine!... I'll go adventuring on my own. Nothing new to see!" grunts and walks her way out... ...of the house

06:33 GyroTech jumps back startled at Inky's reaction, quite flustered and blushing a bright shade of purple, "Wait? Huh? I...well...uh..." He doesn't managed to get a thought out when Naisol storms through the room towards the door. He reaches her before she walks out and puts a hoof on her shoulder. "Oh, cmon Moon Tear, sweetie, I'm just showing our guest some freindlyness. Its nothing that intimate and..." he whispers the last part, "She can't change us like Lupine can, so its safe."

06:43 Inky throws a hoof out at Naisol as she leaves. "Wait! It's not what it looks like!" she says, but after hearing what GyroTech says, her wings angrily snap open the rest of the way. "Nothing that intimate?!" she yells. "I-- Look. I don't know what that other pony told you about what's appropriate, but where I'm from that is... nearly as far from the truth as possible." Inky sighs.

23:20 Naisol shudders as Inky shouts!... winces her eye and glares at GyroTech "You dont know if she has rabb...." bites her lip as she was about to say rabies... And sighs "You know I am very shaky with newcomers... I am sorry GyroTech. It would be the best if I let you hang with her. Alone. Just as you did with me" peeks at Inky and does a worried gesture... "I... I blame GyroTech... he can be real... ...smart some times... some times to much..." sighs and kisses the tip of GyroTech horn "sorry blue muffin..." starts to step away

23:34 Inky takes a deep breath, then exhales slowly, her ears still flat out of anger."Let's just... move on. And not talk about it. Pretend it never happened." Looking at Naisol, she perks up immediately. "Yeah, don't leave! I've barely talked to you at all. I still have so much to ask you!"

23:40 Naisol sighs by the hug as her eyes get watery by the embarrassment and discomfort now... Whispers... "G-g-gyro... please... dont do this this to me..." shudders by the voice of Inky and sighs again.... takes a deep breath and slowly pushes GyroTech away to brake the hug... mumbles to GyroTech "Im sorry Gyro... I am not a town's pony like you... you are the only reason I come here..." turns and... ...smiles brightly at Inky as she was trying her beast to wear a joyful mask "Oh!... you do... yes. I think its the best to forget all this ordeal!... err.... yeah!" giggles nervously and... walks behind GyroTech... letting him guide her now "Just... dont make a bigger deal of this..."

23:44 GyroTech looks at Inky curiously, having expected to hear the reasons behind it but not getting them. Needless to say, he doesn't know how to just drop the topic. He guides naisol back into the room. "But how am I supposed to know when its appropriate and when its not if you dont tell me?"

23:50 Inky grimaces, her ears flopping briefly. "Where I come from, it's something intimate reserved for couples, not just friends. You don't just do it. Maybe it's different where this other pony is from, I don't know." She speaks quickly. "That's why I want to give you the benefit of the doubt and forget about it, if you would just drop the subject," she says, her last words spoken rather forcefully. "Anyway! Gyro's a craftspony, so what do you do, Naisol?"

23:58 Naisol keeps quite while Inky talks... humms as she stores that information for later use... gasp faintly as her eyes glare up to Inky shyly "me... errr..." looks at GyroTech and... remembers how he reacted "I..." pats her chin thinking "I sell souvenirs?... I explore places and find stuff of interest. like a stone doll or an ancient bow and sell them as antiques" grins nervously as that was... ...not her real job but partially

00:03 GyroTech lets out a sigh of relief as Naisol doesn't quite let on the nature of her real job, though he didn't do a very good job of masking this. "Well, what about you Inky? Whats your occupation? You said you came from the North east huh? Does that mean you also hail form the NLR?" Gyro asks quickly, trying to steer the conversation away from Naisols job.

00:11 Inky smiles, happy curiosity returned. "That's cool! Do you have any items around that you haven't sold to a museum yet?" Inky points to herself with a foreleg. "I'm a historian, myself. I'd love to take a look at some relics! Never hurt to dabble in archeology from time to time." Hearing Gyro, she moves her foreleg to her chin and thinks briefly. "The NLR? Oh! I suppose technically I am. I grew up in a small mountain town, and it was never really that important exactly we belonged to."

00:36 Naisol blinks and does a scrunchy face at Inky "Weeeelll... I dont my hy relics here... up in my cottage. hidden somewhere around so no on steal my findings!" grins shyly

00:46 GyroTech smiles at Inky, taking a seat back on the couch now that it seemed everypony had calmed down. "A historyian huh? I think you and Naisol will get along just nicely, if you can convince her to let you go tomb raiding with her. She protests even to bring me..." Gyro frowns at that making a pouting face at Naisol.

00:53 Inky nods. "Yep! Before I left my home in the mountains, the few history books we had were my only way to find out about the rest of Equestria. And it sort of grew naturally into a passion for history." She beams. "I'd love to go with her and get a first-hoof account! Naisol, can we?"

00:59 Naisol blinks and frowns at GyroTech by his comment "Cause you are clumsy!..." shift her eyes shy and looks up to Inky... "That story... I... I end up like that too you know?... sorta of a similarty?" giggles faintly and looks away "aahh.... Its not that simple... and I don't know why GyroTech brought that up. I told him that is a personal important manner but he just bluntly spoke it out" humms... ..."Well... at least not now. not until I know you?... its not an easy trip" does a scrunchy face and shrinks a bit as she just wnats to hide behind GyroTech

01:04 GyroTech huffs at her comment, turning his head away from her. "I'm not clumsy, I'm sorry that I was driven to magical exhaustion to save your life and kill that evil spirit thingy." He turns his attention back to Inky, "I just kind of fell in love with tinkering with stuff...but unfortunatly I couldn't work in Canterlot so I came out here. I've made plenty fo good friends so far though."

01:07 Inky dances from hoof to hoof, unable to stay still. "What, is it dangerous? I can take care of myself!" She lifts off the ground and grabs a broom leaning in a corner, twirling it in her front hooves. "I've read all about polearms and their role in major battles!" Inky lands, twirling the broom through her legs and accidentally almost hitting GyroTech with the sweeping end. It actually does look sort ...

Quickly disentangling herself from the broom handle, Inky jumps to her hooves, brushing herself off sheepishly. "Anyway, I'm pretty quick, but I get it if you don't want to. Would you show me the stuff you have at your cottage, though?" She pauses. "You're been to CANTERLOT?" she says, rushing over to ...

01:14 Naisol rolls her eyes and nuzzles GyroTech horn tenderly "Yeah... that was very impressive... but.... I'm still debating~" giggles and kisses his cheek before glancing at the small show that Inky just did!... snickers a bit and claps her hooves "wow!~... those are some sweet moves~" snickers and sighs "well... I use a bladed halo?... chakaram" smiles shyly and shrugs "I find funny how all ponies... ...just jump in joy when I say adventure..." does a gesture and whispers at GyroTech "I am not putting pony lives in peril.... I dont want to see more die cause of me..." humms and giggles " GyroTech here... pulled me to Canterlot on a date once" smiles shyly

01:18 GyroTech rolls his eyes at her demonstration, ducking back as it comes sweeping accross his face. "Thats not how you use a polearm, you need a good solid jousting harness for it. I actually used to be decent at jousting, before I let it go after moving out here." Turing back to Naisol, "Oh cmon it was fun afterall, you gotta take me back again before you hurt yourself." grimaces as she peppers him with questions, "Well...I grew up there, and you'd think with my mother being a royal advisor I'd of gotten to meet Celestia and all...but no such luck, but Canterlot is full of stuffy ponies anyways, Its much more fun to hang out in the slums." slumps down a bit as he answers, obviouysly a little bit uncomforably about answering that.

01:26 Inky points at GyroTech triumphantly. "Aha! A jousting harness is best for a spear, but what about a poleAXE? That needs some momentum! Also, your mother is a royal advisor? That's neat!" If her spirits are dampened by Gyro's less-than-glowing description of Canterlot, it's not visible. "I actually was asking about Princess Luna, but that's still a shame. What kind of stuff happens in the slums?"

01:32 Naisol rolls her eyes "the point of piercing weapons is precision and aiming... big clumsy weapons with no defense but a lot of damage. that's if you hit the right spot. My Chakram in a different chance..." winks and wags her tail "Its the size of a hula loop and weights like anvil!. A bash from it can K.O and slices bones like flesh by the weight and sharpness. refined ancient steel that has... ...never been rusted in ages!..." hummms "My main arm can easily brake a wooden section of a polearm or lance. and bend swords~" giggles as she simply continued talking more about the same topic "I bashed a bear once with my chakram!. HOOF!. that bear did not woke up till the very nexy day!... And there was this ocation where a half grown dragon was thinking less of me!. He swigged his tail... ...at me and cut his own tail off on how I blocked it with my Chakram!. most funny thing ever!" bla bla bla... she was not stopping....

01:39 GyroTech rolls his eyes and imitates Naisol for a few seconds before giggling, letting her continue to rant. Returning his attetnion back to Inky he frowns in thought, placing a hoof on his chin, "Well Luna...no one sees much of her I'm afraid. I don't know what she's getting up to recently." Gyro brightens up as she askes him about the slums. gives a new burst of enthusiasm, "Well you see, the slums are where all the really intersting ponies are, and where I don't have to worry about keeping up some 'Image' that my mother seems to be intent on my having. You get soldiers and regular work ponies. Its just such a nice relaxed atmospher."

01:51 Inky listens to Naisol intently, ears cocked forwards. "Hmm, I wonder... how do you use a chakram up close without cutting yourself? That sounds pretty hard!" She's clearly impressed, though she giggles as Gyro imitates Naisol. "Aww. I've always wanted to see Princess Luna, but I've never had the chance." She nods as Gyro talks about his experiences in Canterlot. "Heh. Parents and their expectations. ...

01:51 Inky ... Gets old after a while, doesn't it." Inky looks away and scuffs the ground with a hoof.

02:09 Naisol just continues to talk as Naisol seems to be in her zone?... "And this time when I was getting hoarded by a mob of zombies!. just quick dance as the bladed halo swong around me. and blam!... I cut them all in half!" giggles "Other ocation where there was this... viking pony?... he was an undead or some type. he was a living armor and claimed to be immortal. I slice him in HALF!... all... ...his followers kneel and whatever but his immortal armor got choped by my Chakram!" she not getting tired... how many adventures as she been on!? "After getting warped throw an other dimencion by a demonic book... there was this deamon that was sucking my blood out of body!... I made him suck my blade but... I think it cut half his head off?" she is not gonna stop...

06:10 Inky lets out a hint of a sigh. "Well, no, it's not the occupation per se -- actually it's sort of the occupation, but only inasmuch as it's not a different occupation..." She grins, though her lowered ears belie her true feelings. "We get along fine, though! Every so often we exchange letters. It's fine, really." Inky waves a hoof at Naisol, still talking about her various adventures. "Has she really ...

06:10 Inky ... done all that stuff? I had no idea most of that stuff even existed," she says to GyroTech.

04:23 Naisol simply keeps babbling about her adventures and random sections of how she uses their bodies?... but blinks at Inky on how she waves and giggles "Y-yeah!.... I got proof!. Maybe some... Manticore fangs, or some Ectoplasma from wraths. there are many random things that... I can only seem to find so rare in books!" sighs glares at GyroTech "Just ask this stallions about the skeletons we...... ...encountered" giggles and scrunches her her muzzle "I mean... eehhh... Im not suppose to talking about this...

04:26 GyroTech nods along with her. "Ya, I've seen her do some crazy stuff...there's a dragon heart in the guests bedroom for proof...I got it for valentines day." He cringes visibly still at having that heart, but won't say anything to Naisol. He huffs at the mention of the skeletons, "Well sure, we can claim that I single hoofedly defeated an ancient evil king...but you tossed all the artifacts I collected down there after I passed out."

04:31 Inky As Gyro cringes, Inky puts a hoof to her muzzle to stifle her laughs, very close to bursting out into wild laughter. "A /dragon heart/? Really? How... romantic," she says with barely contained mirth. "That's okay, Naisol!" she says, turning back to the earth pony. "I don't have any writing stuff on me anyway so I couldn't really keep track of it. Maybe later!" She sidles over to the table and ...

04:31 Inky ... picks up one of the mangos on it, bringing it to her mouth and giving it a big chomp, sinking her fangs into the succulent fruit. The bat pony mmms happily as she sucks on the tasty mango.

04:36 Naisol giggles at Inky on the way she eats the Mangos~ "ehehe... thats an awesome way to eat it!" humms and looks at Gyro again. "I already told you... it was for the best. for a reason that place was damned... anyhorse!..." grins and hugs the blue unicorn tight~ "This guy, saved my life in that place!..." snickers "yeah... that heart was hard to get by the way..." shrugs lurks her hoof in to her... ...bag... messing around with it till she pulls out a golden pendant~, grins and shifts her eyes at GyroTech

04:39 GyroTech seems to perk up as Naisol admits that Gyro actually won the day. "Hey, finally you admit that I'm the one who defeated that horrible ghost pony, and you wouldn't say that for the longest time," he beams proudly. The unicorn levitates a mango over to himself and takes a large chomp, the fruit making a crunching noise under his teeth.

04:41 Inky nods at Naisol. "Mmm-hmm," she says, muffled by the juicy fruit. Pulling it out of her mouth, she slurps up the juice that rolls out of the twin holes. Tilting her head, she stares at the golden pendant dangling from Naisol's hoof. "Whassat thing, Naisol?" she asks, before returning to sucking on the mango.

04:46 Naisol giggles as he tail trails to a mango.... wraping one up as she continued "Well... this was a gift from GyroTech!. what he gave me on Valentines day" does a scrunchy face as she nuzzles the pendant... "Not sure of golds looks good on me... but GyroTech knows more about fashion than I" giggles and opens her mouth wide?... and takes a while bite out of the mango?... she does not even chew... ...it!... she simply swallows the damn mango completely.

04:51 GyroTech laughs at Naisols feelings about the chain. "Well, I think silver might be to hidden amongst your coat, plus it wouldn't fit well with tha beautiful purple gem that its set with nearly as well." The unicorn just shakes his head as Naisol gulps down the whole mango. "You know that its not very tasty that way..."

04:54 Inky 's eyes widen as Naisol swallows the mango whole. She'd been rocking back and forth while sucking on her own, but freezes as she watches the giant bulge the mango makes travel down Naisol's throat. She leans forward as the bulge disappears under the earth pony's collarbone, reappearing as it weighs down her stomach slightly. "Wha...." she says, her own mango forgotten in front of her. "Do you... ...

04:57 Naisol blinks and smiles very nervously right now... blushes a bit and grimaces at GyroTech "I... ehehe... Not all the time?... I... I just like how it feels?" grins nervously and quickly grabs an other mango "Oh... cmon... any pony can do that!" giggles nervously and this time she bites the mango... chewing on it slowly

05:01 GyroTech rolls his eyes as Naisol starts to eat the mango nromally under protest. "I dont know why she instists and swallowing food whole, but she does, not that it matters anyways, given that she needs to take some strange potion to even digest her food."

05:06 Inky looks down at the mango she's holding, then back at Naisol, then back at the mango. "Uh... No, I don't think I can do that." She looks up at Naisol again. "How did you do that, anyway?" Her ears swivel to listen to GyroTech as he speaks. "Whuh? Can't you digest your food normally?"

She giggles as Gyro gives Naisol a hug, thinking that they were a really cute couple. "I bet Inky would love to see the workshop actually," he says hastily, trying to get her on a different line of thinking.

05:38 Naisol giggles as she closes her arms a bit as soon as Inky stops... looks away very nervous as GyroTech said no... "ehehe... why not?..." coughs and blinks at Inky "alright. lets go to his messy workshop then" sighs and pats her tummy a bit... unpleased... shrugs and simply leans on GyroTech, still nervous, whispers at him " GyroTech... Thanks for taking care of me..."

05:42 GyroTech laughs as Inky tries to grab at an invisible object. "What is it that you're missing there?," Gyro asks as he walked away to come back with a penicl and some grid paper. "What do you need this for?" Gyro gives Naisol a quick nuzzle and a nod before leading Inky out to the workshop.

05:46 Inky sits back and fluffs her hair bun, grinning sheepishly. "Heh, well, I have a little journal and pen that I wear around my withers. I forgot to put it on today!" She gently takes the pencil from GyroTech, holding it between her teeth. Using a wing, she grabs some paper, holding it against her side as she follows Gyro out to his workshop.

05:53 GyroTech sighs and shakes his head, "Why do you carry a journal around?" He throws open a door to the workshop, which is acutally /quite/ a mess. All sorts of half built and finished machinery lined the walls, scraps of metal and wood lay in piles all around and at the far end of the room was a work bench decorated in all sorts of tools. The building had to easily be the size of a small house. "Well, this is where I do all my work."

05:57 Inky rolls her eyes. "So I can write down notes anywhere, duh! One of the things I'm doing in Equestria is studying local culture and other stuff, and taking notes helps with that." She gasps as she walks into Gyro's workshop. "WOW! This is amazing, Gyro! Is all this stuff yours?" She looks all over; left, right, up, down, everywhere, drinking in the sight with her eyes.

04:47 Kassc blinks and looks around GyroTech workshop~... snickers a bit and sighs "This place... it always reminds me of my re... home!" does a scrunchy face as she almost spit something important out!... 04:55 Inky freezes, having just grabbed her pen from under her wing. "Auwhh, ohkay," she says, putting her journal and pen away. She hops over to the partially constructed mining drill, peering at it intently. "What's this thing, Gyro?"

04:58 Kassc hummms as she climbs her forehooves on he workbench~... she wags her tail joyfully as she bites a hammer and pulls out some scrap wood that was laying around... peeks on to the two ponies and shrugs. her tail trails on to the hammer and starts to nail some wood together. no minding the noise at all

05:05 GyroTech follows her over to the drill. It was big enough to fit a couple of ponies in and then some. On its front was a drilling device to cut up and break stone. "Oh this thing? Its a tunnel borer. Its mostly for either exploratory tunnels or to get to veins that have been detected by unicorn magic. As always, its powered by muscle so that the other races can work it." Gyro pops open the hatch to reveal about 4 treadmills inside with some static harnesses to hold ponies in place.

05:12 Inky nods, listening intently. "Oh, I see! A lot of the mining we did in Slate was on the surface, but I bet this would have been handy when it wasn't." She nods approvingly as Gyro points out the treadmills, slightly misinterpreting his tone. "That's good, magic-powered stuff is always impossible to fix. It's terrible!" The bat pony's ears twitch and she grimaces as Naisol starts nailing something ...

05:12 Inky ... together. "Naisol, what're you doing over there?" she asks, angling her ears away from the loud noise.

05:16 Kassc She simply keeps hammering some wood pieces on to others... not long before she hammers a side of her hoof!. she yelps and whines out loud "EEAACK!.... o hammer you!" frowns and tosses the hammer away... "enough of that... I was done hammering anyways..." grunts and takes a pen out... and starts to draw on her hood made object now... drawing with her mouth while her tail trails in some spray... ...bottles

05:21 GyroTech giggles at Inky's reaction, "Ya...I don't do well with magic powered stuff as well. I can't ever manage to get stuff to work with it." He turns away back towards Naisol suddenly as she hits herself. "What happened? Be careful over there Naisol." He trots over to her to look at what she's doing.

05:23 Inky "Well, that makes two of us," she says, laughing along with GyroTech. She starts as Naisol yelps, turning to look at her. "Are you okay?" she asks, following Gyro over to the earth pony.

You probably could keep it a little cleaner though," she says, kicking a small chunk of wood on the floor. "Thanks for showing me your workshop, Gyro! I'll have to return the favor sometime!" The bat pony smiles warmly.

05:51 Kassc giggles and kisses GyroTech cheek "awww... cmon~. its silly enough to put it. its exaggerated!. of course you dont have fuel and sharp metals on the floor. or live exposed cables~" giggles and grins at Inky "cmon~... tell him to actually use it~" sighs and continues to paint the sign "Dont be such a party pooper Gyro~"

05:53 GyroTech continues to protest, "But...but...but...I'm not lazy, cmon tell her Inky. Also yes I'd love to see your place sometime and all your uhh...notes and stuff." He puts a hoof on her shoulder, waiting for backup from the batmare.

05:58 Inky tries to suppress her laughter, muffling it somewhat. "Oh, Gyro, I don't think you're /lazy/!" She waves a hoof at the in-progress contraptions littering the workbenches. "Just a little messy." She rolls her eyes as Gyro puts a hoof on her shoulder. "It's not just notes. I write other things too! And dabble in drawing from time to time!"

I draw a lot on my... concept book... its more like a monster guide?... I draw what I can remember from them and write down any tips and tricks aboutt hem..." shrugs and walks towards the entrence of the... ...workshop and places the sign down with a snicker!~

06:14 GyroTech sighs at the sign. "Fine...do what you wish with the sign..." He turn to Inky and gives her a smile, "I'm so glad you were able to come out here today. I can't wait for an opportunity to get to see your house." He gives her a friendly hug and begins to lead her to the front of the workshop, knowing that she had tried to get away earlier.

06:21 Inky shuffles her hooves awkwardly. "A little bit. I'm really much more of a writer, to be honest... I practice calligraphy sometimes, which is kinda like drawing and writing combined, but also totally not!" The bat mare gives Gyro a friendly nuzzle when he hugs her, following him to the front of the workshop. "Well, thank you for being friendly! The mango was really tasty. I have to say, you're the ...

06:27 GyroTech pops open the door and smiles once again. "It was great meeting you as well. I 'm glad we ran into each other." He giggles at Naisols comment and shakes his head. "Well anyways Inky, my house is always open. Don't be a stranger now."

06:31 Inky steps outside into the fading evening light. "Byee!" she says, waving a foreleg wildly. Turning around, the bat pony spreads her wings, preparing to take off. Remembering something, she glances back at GyroTech. "Oh, right! You can find me at the library; I work there! Or I'm sure we'll just run into each other around town eventually too. See ya!" She waves again before flying away.
