Can a Changeling Regrow Their Mane?

17:49 GyroTech shies away from the changling, glancing at it nervously

17:53 GyroTech sees it become Tihan and approaches it timidly. "What have you done with my friend" he demands with false confidence, his fear showing through in a wavering voice.

17:53 Tihan is confused. "huh? uh...she's at home?""

17:55 GyroTech glares at the changeling, not buying it.

18:21 Tihan runs off. Later that day:

18:41 GyroTech glomps Tihan...before suddenly letting go and inspecting her. "Wait...how can I know you're not that changling I met earlier who turned into you?"

18:42 Tihan says "Hmm? What changeling?"

18:44 GyroTech cocks his head, imagining he heard something in her tone and becoming suspisious. "There was one who came by here earlier today and changed into you." Gyro begins to pat her down with a hoof.

18:46 Tihan squeaks as she is patted down

18:46 Tihan says "What are you talking about?"

18:48 GyroTech becomes convinced that Tihan is the changeling. "Don't play dumb with me you mutant bug...I saw you take this form earlier today." He tackles her and tries to restrain her.

18:49 Tihan flails a little and makes a pouty face up at GyroTech. She's not exactly the strongest of unicorns :I

18:50 GyroTech pins her down, looking pretty upset. "Change back and tell me where the real Tihan is and I'll let you go!"

18:54 Tihan says "I'm right here!"

18:56 GyroTech rolls his eyes. "Thats exactly what a changeling would say."

18:57 Tihan says "It's exactly what anypony would say!"

19:00 GyroTech trims off a good portion of her mane with a cutting spell, hoping that the fur would return to keratain when it was cut off. He wrinkles his nose in disapointment as it remains fur. "Hmmm...I didn't realize changeling magic remained after its been seperated from the host like this."

19:15 Tihan sniffles about her lost mane :(

19:17 GyroTech 's heart begins to melt a little at her crying, a frown starting to creep accross his face replacing his disdain. He tries to keep his feirceness up even as he begins to sucumb. "Oh it'll come back next time you imperosnate my friend I'm sure..."

19:38 Tihan says "I'm not pretending!" She struggles slightly against the stallion atop her and pouts

19:41 GyroTech continues to sadden as she continues to cry, rethinking his position, 'Why would a changling care so much about their mane?' he thinks to himself. Gyro steps off of her and helps her up, giving her a hug. "I'm sorry, I guess it is you and not that thing..."

19:41 Tihan doesn't hugs back, she's rather upset with GyroTech. >:I

19:43 GyroTech backs off just standing there awkwardly kicking a hoof.

19:47 Tihan storms off to go burn something before she does something she'll regret. her hoofsteps leave behind lightly charred floor in their wake.

19:49 GyroTech trails behind her at a distance just to be sure that she isn't a changeling.

19:51 Tihan goes into the middle of a field and stomps down her hoof, sending a small wave of flame forward along the ground

19:53 GyroTech watches in awe from a distance as she burns up a storm, hiding behind a bush, though his purple mane was quite out of place amongst the green.

19:55 Tihan sits down amongst the burning grass and does some breathing exercises to try and calm herself.

20:01 GyroTech worries about the fires as they continue to burn as it appears to him that Tihan has passed out. He rushes out into the field to try and put out the flames so that his friend isn't hurt.

15:05 Thirdspurs hugs the pony, running a hoof through her shortened mane.

15:06 Tihan is still not happy about that >:|

15:07 GyroTech gives a nervous laugh, "Heh, Heh sorry about yesterday...There really was a changeling running around impersonating you."

15:07 Tihan says uh huh, sure there was.

15:08 Tihan shoves GyroTech in a slightly less playful manner than usual

15:09 GyroTech falls away from the hug, stumbling backwards. "Really there was! Why would I do that otherwise?"

15:10 Tihan shrugs. "It still wasn't nice."

15:12 GyroTech looks down at the ground, solemn. "I was just trying to protect you..."

15:13 Tihan sighs softly and pats GyroTech a couple times on top of the head. "Yeah, yeah, I know, hun. But please make sure it's NOT actually me next time?"

15:16 GyroTech continues to look down at the ground. "Thats what I was doing...I think that once seperated from the body changeling magic is supposed to disperse..."

15:17 Tihan says "Well I don't know about that, but cutting off a mare's mane is NEVER a good idea."

15:18 GyroTech inspects her cut mane more closely. "I can try to make it more even if you'ed like?" He offers.

15:18 Tihan says "You've already done plenty. I reeeally don't need you touching my mane."

15:22 GyroTech kicks at the ground some more, thinking. "Well...I could take you to a sallon or something I suppose? I'm sure they can make that look cute--" The stallion quickly corrects himself, "err...even more cute that it currently is."

15:23 Tihan chuckles slightly. "Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that."

15:26 GyroTech takes his hoof and rests it on her shoulder, leading her through the city. The stallion makes his way through the city, seeming like he'd been to this particular place many times before.

15:26 Tihan goes with him, trying not to be TOO upset with him.

15:29 GyroTech opens the door to a fancy looking spa, letting the mare enter before him. The pony at the desk lit up upon seeing him. "Oh Gyro, so good to see you again. And who's this you've brought with you?"

15:30 Tihan waves. "I'm Tihan!"

15:34 GyroTech smiles at the two of them as they approach asking "What can we do for you today?" Gyro gives a little sigh and says "Tihan here had a little accident and needs her mane tidied up. I could probably use some pampering as well."

15:35 Tihan chuckles. "yes, accident. Let's go with that."

15:35 Tihan nudges GyroTech with her shoulder

15:41 GyroTech just flashes a smile at Tihan as the attendant leads them into the back.

15:41 Tihan follows!

15:51 Tihan says Umm... I haven't really had my mane this short in a long time... uh... what would you suggest?

15:57 GyroTech looks over Tihan hmming and haaing until she decides on something. "I think that will look quite nice on you" She says, before grabbing some ointment and working it into her mane.

15:57 GyroTech is sighing as the other attendent rubs over his mane as well.

16:06 Tihan closes her eyes and lets herself be pampered

16:09 GyroTech relaxes as the attendents work on the ponies, shampooing and conditioning their manes and tails.

16:14 Tihan shudders softly and wiggles into the cushion, sighing comfortably

16:21 GyroTech waits. The ponies finish the cleaning, leaving Gyro's and Tihans hair silky smooth and soft, and then begin to go to work trimming the two. Tihan gets extra attention as her stylist works hard getting her damaged mane into a pleasing shape. Her tail is also bobbed to help even up her look.

16:26 Tihan sighs a bit, not really happy to have short hair, but she's gonna have to deal with it for a while.

16:32 GyroTech enjoys it. Soon the ponies finish working on the pair and shown them their new look in a Mirror. Gyro looks pretty close to normal, only having a couple of inches taken off his longer parts, and his shorter sections tidied up a little.

16:32 Tihan turns to the side and checks out her tail and mane. "mmm. Not bad, for short hair!"

16:33 Tihan spins around

16:35 GyroTech smiles, releived that Tihan is happy with her new look. "See, I told you these ponies know what they're doing. You could of accidentally taken a whole stripe out of your mane and they'd find a way to make it look good."

16:35 Tihan thanks them!

16:37 GyroTech sighs The attendent leads the two out back to the counter and gives Gyro a bill. The pony looks it over and checks his bit bag, blushing a little bit. "Uhhh....Tihan?"

16:38 Tihan goes over with GyroTech. "Hmm?"

16:39 GyroTech passes her the bill and makes a sorrowful face..."I kind of forgot to bring my money today." He empties out his poutch on the counter and only a couple of coins fall out.

16:40 Tihan facehoofs "Alright, alright, how much is it?" As she looks over the bill she notices that this was more on the expensive side for such services, but then again, the ponies did them quite well. She exhales through her mouth. "Phew... Alright, I can cover it this time, but you need to bring your money, rich boy!" She giggles and nudges him

17:04 GyroTech smiles and giggles at her reaction, still blushing a bright purple. "Thanks, I'll pay you back for this, it /was/ supposed to be my treat after all."

17:07 Tihan Says "Sounds good!" She smiles at him, seeming to have recovered from being upset with him. She pays the bill, dumping out some bits and counting them out before levitating them over to the spa pones

17:18 GyroTech smiles back releived that her ander has subsided. He looks her over taking in her new style and nods approvingly. "Perhaps you should wear your hair short more often. It looks great in you."

17:19 Tihan says "nope." She sticks out her tongue at him and giggles

17:25 GyroTech frowns "But im sure you dont look that much like a stallion from the back."

17:27 Tihan says, "I'm no stallion!" She frowns at him and stomps her hoof a little

17:29 GyroTech frowns deeper. "thats what im saying. you look mostly like a mare from the back."

17:30 Tihan grunts. "'mostly'? What do you mean 'mostly?'"

17:32 GyroTech bites his lip and goes quiet, edging his way towards the door.

17:33 Tihan frowns at him and follows. "What do you mean 'mostly'?"

17:36 GyroTech stumbles in his words "Well...uhhh...i mean...it looks good on you...You look fine..."

17:37 Tihan huffs frustratedly

17:41 GyroTech tries to leave it at that making his way towards his own house.

17:42 Tihan is back to being upset with GyroTech because her said something really stupid

17:47 Tihan bonks him in the back of the head lightly with her hoof

17:50 GyroTech flinches badly as hes hit. Turning back to look at her with a face that says 'What did I do'

17:50 Tihan glares at GyroTech

17:52 GyroTech continues to look dumbly at her.

17:53 Tihan blows on GyroTech's face

17:55 GyroTech blinks his eyes and wrinkles his nose before turning back to continue walking along.

17:56 Tihan shakes her head and rolls her eyes as she follows him

17:58 GyroTech thimks alloud. "Whats wrong with looking like a stallion anyways? They can be cute too."

17:59 Tihan says "Just shut up. Seriously, you're not helping yourself."

18:03 GyroTech goes quiet for the rest of the journey back towards his house. He opens the door and invites her inside.

18:04 Tihan goes in without a word

18:05 GyroTech indicates towards the couch, "Have a seat, I'll get us something to drink, and your money of course."

18:06 Tihan flops on the couch

18:06 Tihan says "Unf."

18:07 GyroTech comes back with a jingling pouch and a pitcher of lemonaid with a pair of cups. He sets them down on the table and flops on the couch right next to her.

18:08 Tihan takes lemonaid and sips it. She exhales through her nose and tries to calm down

18:10 GyroTech murrs softly and pulls her short tail around his neck, resting his head on her flank.

18:11 Tihan squeaks softly and looks back at him. She really can't help but smile at his cuteness and pats his head.

18:13 GyroTech 's smile grows as he pours himself a glass of lemonade, drinking it down.

18:15 Tihan drinks some lemonaid too. She likes lemonaid.

18:19 GyroTech is quite happy shes' enjoying it. "I hoof pressed that yesderday, do you like it?"

18:19 Tihan says "It's pretty good! I like lemonade."

18:21 GyroTech reaches up and tickles her belly with a hoof.

18:21 Tihan squeaks and bats at his hoof with her own

18:27 GyroTech reaches up with a second hoove as she bats away his first. His half full glass of lemonaid hangs precariously over his head in a green glow.

18:29 Tihan bats at the second hoof too, ignoring his lemonade

18:31 GyroTech retracts his hooves and pouts. "Gosh, you're no fun. Let me tickle you."

18:33 Tihan says "nuh uh! Buh!" She waggles her hooves at him

18:33 GyroTech sets his glass down and rears back, as if preparing to pounce on her.

18:34 Tihan watches

18:38 GyroTech leaps onto her, pouncing onto her side of the couch. He tries to tickle her with even more fury now that he's on top, tangling his legs with her own.

18:39 Tihan squeaks ang giggles happily, trying to tickle him back

18:40 GyroTech meeps and immediatly goes on the defensive as he squirms and writhes about laughing.

18:46 Tihan giggles up at him and tickles at his tummy

18:47 GyroTech continues to wiggle furiously as her hooves poke and prod at his belly. The stallion tries to retreat, but can't muster the strenght.

18:48 Tihan nuzzles his nose and backs off the tickles, giggling.

18:50 GyroTech settles down, his laughing subsiding. Gyro returns the escimo kiss giggling. "Hey...I was supposed to get youuuuu"

18:50 Tihan says "Consider it payback for cutting my mane~ Or at least part of it," she giggles

18:53 GyroTech huffs, "Well don't let yourself get seen by that dirty changeling again and we'll be able to identify it."

18:53 Tihan says "Dirty? Did she need a bath?...or he? I dunno."

18:56 GyroTech looks into her eyes taking on a serious look. "Its dirty by existing...Chagelings are the spawn of something evil, and the ponies they become often disapear beforehand."

18:57 Tihan says "Oh, they're not ALL bad. I know several nice ones!"

18:58 GyroTech gives her a very skeptical look of disbeleif. "Ya...sure. Why would you hang out with creepy little bugs?"

18:59 Tihan says "They can't help how they were born! What if YOU were a changeling? Would you want me to call you creepy and shun you because of your race?"

19:01 GyroTech rolls his eyes. "If I were a changeling I'd take over someponies life and enjoy being that pony since thats what I'd be programed to do. And thats exactly what I want to prevent from happening to you."

19:02 Tihan hmmphs. "It's ponies like you that make it impossible for the few good ones to be themselves."

19:04 GyroTech groans, raising his voice a little as the argument gets heated. "Its ponies like you that allow a changeling to come into a community adn draine the lifeforce and love out of it by them feeding."

19:06 Tihan says "You'd rather I let a helpless little filly die?"

19:10 GyroTech continues to be hard hearted. "Its not a filly, its a bug, A parasite, something to be squahed"

19:12 Tihan shuts her eyes and shakes her head. "She can think for herself. She's so much more than a bug. She's actually really cute when you get to know her."

19:16 GyroTech huffs again. "And what about the fact that changelings feed off of the love and lifeforce of other ponies? Are you going to sacrifice them for her?"

19:16 Tihan says "I have more than enough to feed her."

19:20 GyroTech Says "And when she grows up to be a big strong changeling who needs more than you can provide? What then? And you played dumb yesterday when I found out about her!' Gyro shouts angrilly

19:20 Tihan covers her ears

19:20 Tihan says "ow?"

19:23 GyroTech groans in frustration and rolls off of Tihan, stomping off to his room.

19:24 Tihan sighs and frowns. "Well that could have gone better."

19:29 GyroTech lays down on his bed crying into his pillow in frustration and worry.

19:32 Tihan really doesn't know what to do about this. She's definitely not giving up little Razor, but she doesn't like making GyroTech unhappy either

19:44 GyroTech passes out in his frustration and wakes up feeling a little bit better, though he's still not very comfortable with Tihan's situation. He opens his room and trots out.
