Taking a Mare to Jousting

23:09 Lupine was already walking down the streets as the day was just starting in Canterlot. The bat mare had a blue hood and cloak over her, making sure to cover her eyes as she looked about...

23:09 GyroTech had returned home to canterlot this week to visit his parents. His mother's birthday was later that week and he had been invited home for the celebration. Gyro was walking around the markets dressed in a nobels outfit, looking for the perfect gift to get for her. ***

23:13 Lupine wanders through town. As Lupine headed into the markets, she looks about for whatever catches her fancy. Fresh fruits, pretty silver trinkets, and even some of the meats hung up for the griffone customers. She blinks as she saw a unicorn dressed up, taking a closer look before..."Gyro...?"

23:18 GyroTech 's ears flick about as he tries to discern the source of his name. Finally his eyes settle on a robed figure and he walks up to her. "And who might you be?" He askes in a curious tone. His speech was a little bit more graceful than normal, and he carried himself even higher than usual. ***

23:29 < GyroTech> (Lupine?)

23:36 < Lupine> (Sorry, I got sidetracked by family)

23:36 < GyroTech> (No problem)

23:38 Lupine gasps happily as she recognized his voice, letting out a tiny 'eee~' as she trotted up and gave him a quick hug. "Gyro...it's me...Lupine..." She flashes a toothy smile at him, baring her fangs everso slightly for him to see.

23:44 GyroTech is taken aback by the random hug and then relaxed slightly as he found out who she was. He looks a little bit nervous to be seen with her though, glancing around to see who was watching. "Perhaps we ought to slip off to somewhere a little more private" He says to her in a low voice. "There's a taver 3 blocks north of hear called the Pheonix bar. Lets meet up there." He breaks away from the hug and begins to make his way in that direction. ***

23:46 Lupine blinks as she watched the stallion go, not sure what to make of all this. 'Oh...um..." SHe sighs as she decides to give him a bit of a head start, browsing the market for a little while longer before making her way north. The bat mare eventually comes up the the Phoenix, gulping nervously before entering the bar...

23:49 GyroTech was sitting in a booth all by himself towards the edge of the bar. He'd let loose a little bit, his garment opened up a little to let him be more comfortable. The bar itself was not a nobles bar, but, it still was quite decorated and filled with ponies who were quite well to do. Gyro spots Lupine walk in timidly and waves a hoof at her, beconing the bat pony over to his table. ***

23:52 Lupine smiles as she takes a seat next to Gyro, making sure to keep her hood over her head. She orders a Bloody Mare, waiting for a moment before her drink was ready. "It's been...too long, Gyro..." She giggles as she takes a sip of the drink, making a bit of a face. "Oh...too much celery..."

23:55 GyroTech sighs, sipping on a glass of cider himself. "Yes it has..." His tone of voice was much more relaxed slipping back into his usual manner. "Sorry about that out there, its just this." He gestures at his clothes. "Gah...I hate being a noble. All these expectations of me...This is why I left Canterlot in the first place. I'll take my tools and labor over this stuffy life anytime, even if it is well pampered." ***

00:00 Lupine nods slwly as she takes another sip, still trying to get used to the drink. "Oh...I see..." She sighs as she finally slides the drink away, smacking her lips distastefully. "Blech...it's not the same..." She then turns back to Gyro, raising her hood just enough for him to see her eyes. "But...you left your family...for this?" She tilts her head ever so slightly. "That sounds...liberating!" She grins at the unicorn. "But...why are you wearing...that...?"

00:04 GyroTech makes an irritated face at the situation. "Well, its my mothers birthday this week and I decided to come home for the celebration. Unfortunatly, coming home means that I have to play the part of the son of nobility if I want to stay on their good graces." He sticks out his tongue in irritation and downs his pint, beckoning to the waitress for another. "And what brings you to Canterlot? I thought you liked the docks." ***

00:06 Lupine sighs as she looks about the bar. "Well...Madame Oculous wanted me...to go about town some..." She smiles as she orders a cider along with him, wanting something sweet for a change. "YOu see...she took it upon herself...to make sure I can..." Gyro can see the slight blush under the hood. "I can control myself..." SHe then giggles as she took a sip of the cider. "Mmmm....oh, and I've been...doing great with that!"

00:12 GyroTech gives her a look of concern? "Control yourself? Did you have another incident?" Gyro asks curiously. "And around town? Canterlots a far cry from Seaddle where I first met you." Gyro reaches accross the table and lowers her hood. "No need to hide that pretty face here," he says with a smile. ***

00:15 Lupine flinches just a bit as she felt her hood being lowered, flicking her fluffy ears slightly. "O-oh...well..." SHe smiles warmly as she shakes her head at Gyro. "No...I...haven't had anymore...incidents..." SHe giggles and takes another sip of cider. "Not...with unwilling ponies...anyway..." She then sighs happily as she looks about the place, noting that none of the other ponies were glaring at her. "Canterlot...it's a nice place...and...Madame Oculous paid...for me to come here for awhile..."

00:21 GyroTech seems to flinch every time Madame Oculous's name was said. Gyro did not have a very high opinion of her after the situation she foced Lupine into. "Well, I'm glad you're in town this week maybe we can have a little bit of fun together, I can show you around, however..." he looks like hes trying to find a way to say this nicely. "We may have to dress you up a bit, if you don't mind. I sadly can't be seen prancing around with a commoner here. I can't imagine how my parents will react when they meet Naisol for the first time." He just facehoofs at that thought. ***

00:24 Lupine slowly nods as she takes a moment to think. "Well...I suppose we can...find a dress for...Lunar nobility...." SHe smiles coyly as she bares her fangs, but not at anypony in particular. "Oh...I can have some fun!" She then closes her eyes as she takes another sip of cider. "And don't worry about...ettiquette...I'm from...nobility, too..."

00:27 GyroTech breathes a sigh of releif as she agrees. "Excellent. It'll be nice to have a friend around here. All these high class ponies are so stiff all the time, and everypony else just seems to fall head over hoof to try and please you." He finishes off his drink and lays a few bits down on the table, before straightening out his garmit, suiting up once again. ***

00:29 Lupine smiles as she get up as well, putting her hood up, again. Her face became a bit more serious under the hood. "Now...about the garments...you have an idea...as to where to go...right?" She pays the barkeep, leaving a bit extra for a tip. "I...don't know all the...shops...around here."

00:34 GyroTech thinks for a second. "Hmmm, most of the places I went for clothes here were custom tailored...Ahh!" Gyro's face suddenly lights up as an idea sparks. "One of the seamstresses around here tends to keep a stock of dresses. Don't worry, they're summer skirts so they shouldn't be too stuffy." He leads Lupine accross town to a botique with several fancy gowns set up in the windows. Inside was a quite posh room walled with mirrors and a handful of dresses set up on display. "See anything you like here?" ***

00:36 Lupine smiles as she looks about the room, admiring all of the dresses before taking a look at a velvety, deep blue dress with a royal purple trim. "Oh...I think this one...will do nicely..."

00:39 Lupine smiles as she takes off her cloak and hood, allowing the seamstress to help her with putting it on. Eventually, she came out of the dressing room, showing it off to Gyro as she took on a more noble air. "Well...I think...this will do..."

00:43 GyroTech smiles widely as the mare steps out of the dressing room, looking as a very graceful and beautiful pony. Gyro is stunned breathless for a second before recovering. "Yes, I think that shall do very nicely. He gives the seamstress a note that she very gladly accepts before ushering Lupine out into the streets. "That outfit is just perfect on you. Anyplace you'd like to go?" ***

00:46 Lupine giggles as she trots along with Gyro, feeling quite comfortable in her new outfit. "Well...I'm not sure, really..." She twitches her ears as she listens to the city sounds about her. "What does...a noblemare do for fun? Or..." She give him another toothy smile. "Maybe we should have...your idea of fun~"

00:52 GyroTech thinks for a second, "Well, I could always get you a grand tour of the castle, though I doubt we could get an audience with the princesses. Or, I'm sure I can find us a dinner party or two, where you could gossip about the cute stallion you know," he adds that last part with a grin. "As for what I like to do, well thats unbecoming of a lady. Still Its always fun to sneak into the seige shop and learn about those spectacular maginificent machines or ...You know, I havn't done any jousting in ages. I bet I'm terrible...well even more terrible, at it now." ***

00:55 Lupine giggles as she takes another moment to think. "Um...Gyro...is it okay if..." She blushes a bit as she tries to find the right words to explain what's next. "Um...you see...this demeanor of mine...it's only...one part of me..." She then shuts her eyes and sighs a bit. "And...I think I should show it to you...if you want, Gyro..."

00:58 GyroTech looks at her quite confused not quite sure what she's getting at. "What demeanor of yours? Acting like a noble?" He has one ear down in confusion. ***

01:07 Lupine shakes her head as she keeps her eyes shut. "No...not an act..." She then lays her ears back a bit as she opens up her eyes. "You see...only recently...I've been able to control...myself..." Her eyes become red as she looks at Gyro. "And with that...I am able to become...this..." As she looks at Gyro, she starts to smile, but...her usual softness was fading a bit, her face no longer becoming timid...

01:11 GyroTech takes a couple steps back involuntarily as her change in appearance startles him a bit, but then he takes a deep breath and calms his nerves trying not to be scared as he looked on to her changing appearance. "Go on..." he says timidly. ***

01:17 Lupine sighs as her very voice changed, her soft voice replaced by that of a more mature mare. Her demeanor was no longer timid as she spoke. "This aspect of me was only present when I was feeding." She smiles as she takes a couple of steps forward. "but now that I can control ny blood haze, I can take on my other self without fear of...incidents."

02:19 GyroTech still seems a little hesitant around her. "I'm glad you can control yourself so well..." Gyro says, his voice wavering a little, "But what does this aspect do other than frightening ponies?" Hes doing a good job of not showing too much fear seeing as he trusts her, but some is still leaking though. His hairs stand on end a little bit as he inspects her. ***

02:22 Lupine smiles seductively as she lets her eyes flutter just a tad. "Oh...this isn't just for show, Gyro. If I am to act like some noble mare, I need to show some confidence. As..." She sighs a bit. "...as much as I like to be my true self, I don't want to embarrass you in front of your family by being too shy." ***

02:29 GyroTech can't help but admire her beauty. "I must admit, you do look much prettier whne you carry yourself this way. Though...is the appearance change nessesary for your personality change? I don't know that I could get used to those fangs..." Gyro gives a nervous laugh. ***

02:33 Lupine lets out a sultry laugh as she leans closer to Gyro. "Oh, the fangs are easy to retract." With a quick working of her jaw, the pointed canines disappear into her mouth, her smile almost the same as a normal pony. "but as for the eyes...well, I think that adds a bit of mystique to it all, don't you think?" She then shifts her ears ever so slightly as the mare gives him a quick nuzzle. "What do you think? Will the nobles approve?" ***

02:42 GyroTech sighs and his nervousness drops quite a bit as she retrackts her canines. "Yes...That is much better, and the eyes should be fine." Gyro blushes a little as she nuzzles against him. Taking her all in he concedes, "A mare a gorgeous as you? Yes I app-I mean the nobles would apporve, most definately." He turns towards the door. "You never said what you wanted to do." ***

02:47 Lupine smirks as she decides to be a bit forward with Gyro. "What I really want is some meat to snack on, or perhaps something bloody. But...I could also be willing to try something new. Perhaps whatever the upper crust does for fun, or better yet, something that ponies like US would do in Canterlot."

02:54 GyroTech frowns a bit at her response. "Well, as I said earlier I'm sure I could get us into a party or two. Or perhaps into the theatre or even possibly a private tour of the castle, though none of those are likely to include what you want...As for ponies like us...well...Naisol was my first time so I don't actually know if anyplace caters to such interests in Canterlot, not that I could be seen going there anyways, not without a good glamour spell anyways." He shrugs a little at her request. "One of my favorite things to do was jousting, even though I never was great at it, and I'm sure I"m even more rusty now." ***

02:58 Lupine grins as she already like this idea of jousting, herwigs flapping ever so slightly as she gives Gyro a quick peck on the cheek. "Then let us go jousting! My uncle always took me to see him compete in tournaments, and he even showed me a few pointers!"

03:05 GyroTech is taken aback by her sudden eagerness to go jousting and the peck on the cheek. "I...Are you sure? It can be quite dangerous to the untrained and...its fairly unusual for a mare to participate in such a competition, though, I guess, not unheard of," he conceeds before starting to lead her down to the training fields. "I wonder how much I remember from this..." ***

03:16 Lupine laughs again as she follows the unicorn over to the fields, her tail flicking in anticipation. "It's always nice to try and do something that stallions think they excel at! But..." She laughs again as she leans slightly into Gyro. "I know that this may not be what a mare is expected to do, given the circumstances." ***

03:25 GyroTech giggles excitedly, "Its ok, the guys around here find mares trying this stuff out a little amusing, and...They'll assume that you are my mare friend whom I'm trying to impress, so be warry that they may take swipes at me and you for it." Gyro enters the equipment storage and walks down to a tall locker which he flings open revealing jousting armor and a lance. "Huh, looks like my parents still kept this thing rented, even with me being out in Seaddle. Would you mind helping me get suited up? Then we can bug the manager for some spares, though they won't be custom fit." ***

03:29 Lupine rolls her eyes as she already tries to help him get into the armor, flitting her leathery wings occasionally before strapping on the right buckles. "They can try and make fun of me, but once they start to so the same to you..." She smirks as she slowly suits him up. "I think they'd be surprised as to what I have in store for them, the poor, arrogant bastards." ***

15:36 GyroTech smirks and says in a teasing voice, "Aww, you care about me, don't you?" He then perks up as the last strap is snapped in place. "Don't worry I can handle myself, I'm a strong buck. Now lets get you some practice armor...Unless you want to watch like a prissy mare?" ***

15:41 Lupine lets out a small snort, a barely visible wisp of red mist emanating from her nostrils. "Prissy? Me? I'd rather fight like a true Wingate than sit on the sidelines. Let's find some armor, Gyro." She then starts to smile again as she tapped at his armor with a hoof. "But yes...I do care for you. You're a good friend, and I don't want you to be made fun of." ***

15:59 GyroTech flags down of of the equipment servants and has them fetch some gear for Lupine, after ahe took a quick measurement of her body. They soon return with some armour that appeared quite used and worn, but probably still suitable for their purposes, and a scratched up lance. Gyro frowns at the equipment but desides it will have to do, before sending the servant back on her way. ***

16:02 Lupine promptly takes off her dress and starts to put on some of the armor, the mare seeming to at least know how to put it on properly. "Gyro...could you lend a hoof with this? I would greatly appreciate it." She gives him a warm smile and a quick flap of the wings. ***

16:06 GyroTech uses a combination of hooves and magic to help bolt and belt the armour up correctly. He It seems he was not quite as rusty at this as one might think. He does, however, at least to Lupine, appear to be having some trouble with the straps near her rump as he seems to be spending an inordinate amount of time on them, though they do feel tight enough to her. ***

16:08 Lupine blinks as she felt her flanks feeling a bit tight under the armor, looking back as she tries to figure out what's going on. "What are you doing back there? My flanks aren't THAT large, are they?" She giggles a bit as she gave them a quick shake.

16:14 GyroTech blushes quicly finishes buckling those two straps. "Umm, the straps back here were giving me a little bit of trouble is all." Gyro lies unconvincingly. "Alright, lets go to the practice field then." He levitates both pikes to him and turns around, letting his tail brush against her plot a little. He then leads her on to the pracitice field. Around the fiedl it was a bustle of activity. Younger and older ponies alike were honing thier skills with pikes, wing blades, Iron Hoofs, bows and even the occasional sword thrown in. Gyro takes one of the empty jousting tracks, standing in the center. ***

16:18 Lupine doesn't seem to be intimdated by all the bustling and clashing of steel, smiling as she sits a bit off to the side. "Gyro...is there anypony else you wish to joust with? I'd really like to watch, just to ave it all come back to me."

16:19 < Lupine> (Do you want me to play another pony?)

16:20 < GyroTech> (Sure, Gyro probably will need a refresher as well. I suppose gyro can grab a pony around here that he's aquainted with, and probably used to joust with.)

16:21 < Lupine> (Okay...I have a unicorn named Windsor you can use.)

16:26 < GyroTech> (Sure, we can use him)

16:27 < Lupine> (Sweet. You want me to play him?)

16:30 GyroTech thinks for a bit and looks around the fields for somepony he recognizes when he sees one of his old school friends. "I think I do, I'll be right back." He trots accross the field over to one of the rest areas where he sees Windsor taking a breather and sipping a drink. "Oh! Hey Windsor, long time no see. Fancy meeting you here" Gyro says enthusiastically. ***

16:32 Windsor perk up his ears as he sees a familiar unicorn coming over. He gets up and smiles as he finishes his drink. "Ah, Gyro! It's been too long! I was told that you moved to Seaddle, for whatever reason."

16:40 GyroTech gives the unicorn a friendly hug. "Yes, I have moved there, but I've come back for my mothers birthday, which I'm assuming you're coming too?" Gyro replies, extending an invitation. "But for today, I've got a mare who wants to see me joust, and I'm afraid I've let myself grow a littel rusty. It seems the ponies in Seaddle just arn't into such finer things. Would you mind being my partner for a bit?" ***

16:49 Windsor chuckles as he nudges Gyro a bit. "A mare, eh? Trying to impress somepony, I see. Tell me, is she cute? Or are you just after her for the personality?" He them smiles as he starts to walk over to the track, his armor clinking a bit. "But yes, I would be happy to assist in getting you reacquainted with the lance."

16:58 GyroTech gives him a wry smile. "Oh, she's very cute, and quite fiery." Gyro walks along beside him. "Oh, thanks very much. Hows life been treating you recently? Have you gotten a mare of your own? Or perhaps your parents finally managed to get you to lead a squad of guards ponies despite all your protesting?" he chuckkles. ***

17:03 Windsor lets out a frustrated sigh as he lifts up his lance a bit, making sure that it's properly set into his armor. "Hardly. My father wanted me to become a part of the Royal Guard, but that has become more difficult with the new policies set by the commissioner. Turns out that blood alone doesn't guarantee you a spot, anymore, especially after the rise of...incidents. They want natural fighters, now."

17:15 GyroTech snorts at this new information. "You mean they're now letting commoners run head positions of the guards? Thats outrageous!" After thinking for a bit, "So where does that leave you? Are you still working towards the guard? Or perhaps you entertain the possibility of being on Celestia's court?" The pair reaches the track, where lupine is standing by. ***

17:20 Windsor smiles a bit as he keeps walking. "Well, I do wish to be a part of the Royal Court, but that will take some time for me to curry-" He stops short as he sees Lupine, an odd grin on his face as he turns to Gyro. "You...how did you ever come across a child of Luna? You know how reclusive their kind is, friend."

17:32 GyroTech smirks back at Windsor. "What? Have you never seen any of Luna's childeren before? They don't seem that elusive to me. I've met several in my travels," he lies, "Perhaps you need to get out of Canterlot more." Waving a hoof at the bat pony, he states "This is lupine, Lupine this is Windsor, an old friend of mine. He'll be my jousting partner for today." ***

17:36 Lupine smiles as she waves a hoof at the new unicorn. "Oh, good! Somepony to entertain my good friend. A pleasure, Windsor."

17:36 Windsor smiles oddly as he waves back at Lupine, noting that she was in armor, as well. "Um...Gyro, you do realize that our fellow ponies wouldn't take kindly to a mare jousting. UNless..."

17:39 Lupine narrows her eyes as she overheard Windsor. "Perhaps this mare would show you what she can do."

17:42 GyroTech doesn't even have time to respond as Lupine jumps right in. He gives a nervous laugh turning to her. "Now, now, that won't be nessesary. I'm sure you jousting won't bother Windsor here right?" He shoots Windsor a stern look that says "You better not disagree or there might be trouble." ***

17:45 Windsor blinks as he saw that both Gyro and Lupine were on him, smiling sheepishly as he shook his head. "Not at all! I'm just...surprised that...welll...." He then turns to Gyro, changing the subject. "You said you wanted a couple of practice sessions, yes?"

18:03 < GyroTech> (THat was a weird crash)

18:07 GyroTech lets out a sigh of releif as the subject changes, not wanting to deal with that sort of mess. "Yes, I did want a couple of practice sessions. I havn't picked up a lance since I moved." He hoists his own lance up, which bears his family crest, and attaches it almost properly to his armour. His work is sloppy and doesn't quite latch in all the way. ***

18:11 Windsor rolls his eyes as he lights up his gorn, adjusting the lance properly. "It certainly shows. You know what could happen if you don't set your lance properly."

18:11 Lupine looks intently as she makes a few mental notes on what the two unicorns are doing.

18:17 GyroTech looks a little dismayed as he's called out on such a simple error. "Yes, I know all those horrible things. I'm sure it will all come back to me..." His voice was not very confident at all. Gyro double checks Windsors equipment like good partner before plodding his way down to the end of the field. It was quite easy to see that the unicorn was weighed down by the armour due to no longer being used to wearing it. His movements were slowed and just a tad more imprecise, though for someone who didn't know the mechanically inclined pony better, they would think his percision was at the level of an unimpared pony. ***

18:24 Windsor looks on at Gyro and how he carries himself, and sighs and shakes his head a bit. With a practiced gait, he takes up his side of te track, lifting up his lance slitghtly as he turns to look at his opponent. "Now...I hope you remember the basics of the charge and the follow-through."

18:24 Lupine starts to swish her tail in excitement as she watched the two ponies ready to charge, almost too impatient to wait any longer. "Hurry up, or else I'll have to get in there, myself!"

18:29 GyroTech grimaces as he tries to recall it and can't remember the specifics. He hopes that the muscle memory of such a tactic will be there to help him. Gyro gives a nod, and begins to charge down the track, his gait a little unsteady until with a tilt of his body he feels a thud against his lance as it glances off of Windsor's armor. The sudden impact leaves him a litte unsteady on his feet. ***

18:34 Windsor shakes his head as he was charging headlong down the track, seeing how much Gyro was in desparate need of practice. He follows through with his lance, sending a shockwave of impact into Gyro as he felt the lance quiver on his end.

18:35 Lupine gasps as she sees how her friend was almost knocked ove by the clash, sitting up straight as she looks on. "You have it all wrong! lea more into it, and follow the lance!"

18:39 GyroTech rocks back on his hooves and Windsor's lance collided firmly against his chest plate. He almost is knocked clean off his hoves before he manages to recover, charging to the end of the field. Once on teh other side of the field he huffs at Lupine and calls out "What do you know? You've never done this before!" though, internally, he had to admit that she was right. He tried to mentally prepare himself for another go. ***

18:43 Lupine snickers as she sees how Gyro was getting agitated over her remarks, deciding to egg him on just a bit. "If you don't knock him over this run, I'll have to get in there and show you how it's done!" She internally knew that she had no actual experience in jousting, apart from what her uncle taught, but she felt like she knew the basics enough to at least give it a go.

18:46 Windsor laughs a bit as he preps himself for another run. "I am tempted to see how a lady fares. Very well, I'll make this quick!" With a quick rearing up, her charges down the track full tilt, ready to knock ver his opponent.

18:47 GyroTech charges full speed right back at Windsor, his footing a little bit more even this time. He feels his lance connect, letting old muscle memory work for him, but this time, leans to much into it, leaving him open for a blow in retalliation. Gyro lets out a loud "Oof" as the the opponents lance thuds against him, causing him to crash down onto the ground hard. ***

18:51 Lupine lets out a gasp as she sees that Gyro was knocked down. "Gyro! Are you hurt?" She flies over as best she could in her armor, checking the uncorn over for any signs of blunt trauma. "come on...speak to me..."

00:25 GyroTech blushes quite profusly as Lupine rushes over to him. "I'm...I'm fine, I've been knocked down more than a few times at this," he admits, picking himself off the ground a little shakily. As Windsor commented he just bowed his head and let his ears go flat. "Ya...I have..." he sighs dejectedly. ***

00:29 Lupine lets out a bit of a low growl as she straightened up, glaring daggers at Windsor. "Gyro...I will teach that stallion a lesson, if it's the last thing I do..." Her voice seems surprisingly calm as she takes a few steps over to her end of the track, pawing the ground a few times as she was ready to charge.

00:29 < Lupine> (AT this point, is it okay if you can take over for Windsor? He's one of my regular background characters for my rps, so go ahread with whatever personality you want)

00:31 GyroTech just sighs as Lupine takes to the end of the track and walks out of the way. He's got a feeling that things are not going to work out well, but he knows he cant argue with that mare. ***

SHe wanted to see him fall, even if it meant she took a few hard hits...

At the collision point he felt her lance connect hard as did his. With a loud thud against her armour, he felt her crumple over, but her lucky blow caused him to eat dirt a fraction of a second later. ***

00:53 Lupine wheezes a bit as she fell to the ground, the blow knocking the wind clean out of the mare. Dirt flies as she slid along the ground for a few feet, not getting up or moving for the moment...

00:59 GyroTech cringes as the two strike again, this time bringing Lupine to the ground, as well as Windsor. Despite his worry, he couldn't help but smirk as he lay in the dirt. He rushes over to Lupine. "Are you OK? Please tell me you're not hurt" he says worring over her.

00:59 Windsor laid in the dirt for a minute after the collision, quite embarrased at having been brought down by a newbie like that, but even newbies get lucky hits sometimes. Eventually he picks himself up off the ground and and trots over to the bat pony to make sure she was alright. ***

01:02 Lupine giggles as she slowly got up, shaking off the dirt from her armor before grinning at Gyro. "Did I do well? That last blow was quite impressive!" SHe then smirks as she saw Windsor covered in dirt as well. "So...how did the lady do?"

00:59 Windsor interupts, "It was a lucky blow," seeming a little irritated at the circumstaces. "We all get them now and again. Perhaps I shouldn't of pulled my blow the first time" he huffs out. ***

01:27 Lupine grins as she looks over at Windsor, letting her fangs show ever so slightly. "Perhaps...but now I know from now on how to take you down. But for now..." She smiles as she lets her tail brush up against Gyro's flank just a bit. "I think that's enough for today. I want to see other sights, my dear."

Perhaps you can show me a little bit more while I'm in town this week. I'd love to knock some of this rust off." He throws a hoof around Lupines shoulder and begins to lead her away.

01:36 Lupine giggles as she packs him on the cheek, thoroughly enjoying his company. "Parhaps next time, Windsor!" At that, she trots along with Gyro, leaning slightly into the stallion. "That was actually quite fun! I...I hope that I can learn more, but..." SHe sighs as she looks about. "I'm only here for a week or so..."

01:40 GyroTech begins to help her remove her armour. "Sadly, a week is not nearly enough time to hone such a skill. Still, I think I can run off with this." He gestures at his own gear. "And then you could pick up some of your own and we could practice back in Seaddle, maybe get some of the other local ponies involved. Perhaps I could even convince my parents to pay for a trainer to come down a couple times a month. They might like me getting back into such a sport." Gyro gives her flank a solid pat as he removes the last part of her armour, and begins to go to work on his own. ***

01:46 Lupine meeps as she felt her flank being gently swatted, giving him a toothy grin as she helps him take off his armor. "I'd like that...but I also don't want for you to strain realtions with your parents. I...I have been making a lot more money, though..." She decided to leave it at that as she finally doffed his armor, nipping his ear gently. The bat mare then puts on her dress and smiles at Gyro. "But what else do you have in mind, for today?" ***

01:51 GyroTech gives a heartly laugh. "Well, they kept my gear all cleaned up and in a locker here, so I imagine they'd be excited for me to take up jousting once again. I just hope they don't see it as 'the end of my rebellion.' I don't want to get their hopes of me returing to nobility up. I wouldn't be free to do as I like and certainly wouldn't be free to enjoy Naisols company." He lets out a sigh, which turns into a deep frown at the mention of her extra money. "Oh, please tell me you didn't get into that same nasty business as Lupine has. I'd hate to see in in that kind of trouble." ***

01:56 Lupine sighs as she gives Gyro a pleading look. "Please...I'm not..." She shakes her head a bit and shuts her eyes for a moment. "Not here, Gyro...if you really want to talk about it, maybe...somewhere private." The mare then turns to the door, walking out and letting him follow. She takes a moment to look about the buildings some more, trying to keep her mind off of...work.
