Meeting a Sea Friend

10:22 Xolani and the rest of the trio of folks make their way down a beach on this calm day. Xolani, an adult zebra mare , is leading the way as a rhino pulls on the cart, with a unicorn dozing n the back of it. "Come, it isn't very far, now."

10:24 GyroTech says, "You heard her, Dumi, put your back into it. I'm eager to get to the beach" the blue unicorn calls lazily form the back of the cart.

10:25 Dumisani snorts softly, the hulking whitish-grey rhino harnessed to the cart. "This better be worth the walk. Just got off work, and was hoping for rest "

10:26 Xolani grins as she sees the ocean lapping against the shore, the same one when she was at when she was but a filly. "I know it's tough, but I did make a promise..." She scanned the shores for any signs of movement.

10:26 Aquamarine was on her way towards the shoreline. Xolani had told her to meet her there because she was bringing friends. She swam relatively quickly through the water.

10:27 GyroTech moves his purple tail into a position to block the sun out of his eyes as he sits up a bit to look out onto the water. "Oh its worth it for me Dumi. I don't think I could of made that journey myself. You were a great help."

10:28 Xolani keeps on looking at the shores, hoping to find who she was looking for. "Dumi, do you see anything out there?"

10:29 Dumisani rolls hir eyes at Gyro's comment, then blinks at Xolani. "... I'm near sighted."

10:29 Aquamarine broke the water's surface as she arrived at the shoreline. She pulled herself up onto the sand slightly, then looked around for anypony nearby.

10:31 GyroTech gets up and hops out of the cart, his hooves sinking into the warm sand as he plods along the beach.

10:33 Xolani grins as she sees the merpony, pointing a hoof in her direction. "Ah, there she is!" She helps Dumisani get unhooked from the cart before calling out to GyroTech. "I would like for you to meet somepony, Gyro."

10:34 Aquamarine ears twitched when he heard that familiar voice. She turned and smiled to see Xolani and her friends.

10:35 GyroTech curses under his breath and reluctantly turns to follow Xolani towards the merpony. "I thought we were just going to relax on the beach, not go meet a fish..." he whines.

10:36 Xolani pats Dumisani on the side and kisses hir cheek. "I understand...you may see her again when I take her home for the night. But I can take the cart from here, Dumi. Go home and rest."

10:37 Dumisani shrugs hit shoulders. "Can say hi at least. Walk woke me up."

10:37 Xolani keeps on grinning as she makes her way up to Aquamarine. "So...how would you like to see the land some more?"

10:38 Aquamarine smiled. "I'd like that. ^^"

10:39 Xolani turns to her friends. "These are a few of my dear friends."

10:39 Dumisani trundles after Xolani, each step a bit more labored as shi sinks into the sand.

10:39 GyroTech soon follows up behind Xonani, approaching the creature that stood as high as Celestia herself. "Hello fishpony, what might your name be?"

10:40 Aquamarine smiled. "My name's Aquamarine. And I'm not a fishpony. I'm a merpony. Or Kelpie Seapony, whichever you perfer to call us."

10:41 Dumisani nods in greeting. "Not seen many of you. Only in distance. My name's Dumisani."

10:42 Xolani nods happily as she reaches out for a hug. "She saved my life on this beach when I was a filly; it was the first time to be at sea like this, and I wasn't aware that there were monsters in the water."

10:42 GyroTech rolls his eyes slightly at her correction of him. "Nice to meet you Aquamarine, I'm Gyro Tech." he says in a slightly irritated manner.

10:43 Aquamarine smiled. "That's right. I couldn't just let the poor girl end up as a sea monster snack."

10:44 Dumisani chuckles softly. "Everypony saves you, don't they Xolani? Like being a damsel in distress?"

10:44 GyroTech says, "I suppose I owe you my thanks then. She's fixed me up more times than I can count, though Dumi is right, even I've saved you. You just put yourself in bad situation don't you" he chides.

10:45 Xolani smiles as she looks back over at Dumisani. "You know how I love to exlore, Dumi. I am not exactly helpless, however."

10:45 Dumisani smirks and offers hir massive hoof to Aquamarine.

10:46 Aquamarine smiled and took it. "Why thank you, kind sir."

10:47 Xolani sighs as she realizes that this is all true. "Perhaps it is my lot in life; but I do enjoy being able to help in any way I can." She looks back to the merpony. "Now...do you wish to visit my shop? I have a room ready for you, already."

10:48 GyroTech looks at Xolani skeptically. "Don't fish pon-- merponies have to breathe water? Unless youve got some weird zebra potion in there..."

10:48 Aquamarine smiled. "If that's OK with you. I'd hate to be an imposition."

10:48 Dumisani chuckles a bit. "I'm not a male. Not female either."

10:48 Aquamarine smiled. "No. MERPONIES breathe both air and water."

10:50 Xolani nods happily at Aquamarine. "I would be happy to have you stay for a while. I know of a few ponies willing to cart you about the town, myself included."

10:50 Aquamarine smiled. "I only need two more days before I can use my necklace again, you know."

10:51 Dumisani rolls hir eyes. "Mimi nina nyumbu pakiti hapa."

10:51 Xolani grins. "But at least you can start from a new place, yes?"

10:52 GyroTech looks on confused. "Your neclace? What neclace? Whats it for? Can I examine the enchantments?" He gets a little excited.

10:52 Xolani turns to GyroTech, still smiling. "At my place."

10:53 Aquamarine smiled, hoisting herself into the cart.

10:53 Xolani takes it upon herself to pull the cart whil talking to her friends...

10:54 GyroTech climbs up ontop of the cart as well, getting comfortable for the journey back.

10:54 Dumisani trundles alongside the cart, looking over at Aquamarine some more.

10:56 Aquamarine smiled. "Did Xolani ever mention how I saved her~?"

10:57 GyroTech sighs. "Nope, she never even mentioned you until 5 minutes ago when she introuduced us."

10:57 Dumisani shrugs, "Not that I know of. Haven't seen her for years until I moved nearby."

10:58 Aquamarine smiled. "Well, I ate her and kept her safe in my stomach."

10:59 GyroTech groans. "This seems to be becoming a trend for you Xolani..."

11:00 Dumisani smirks. "That it does."

11:00 Aquamarine smiled. "It's not that bad. "I think it's kind of cute~"

11:01 Dumisani adds, "Not bad, no. Silly though."

11:02 Aquamarine smiled. "If you'd like, I can eat you when we get to your house."

11:03 GyroTech rolls his eyes. "Aqua, Dumi, Dusk...am I your only freind who doesn't want to eat you..."

11:04 Aquamarine giggled and tickled his nose with her tail.

11:05 Dumisani blinks at Aquamarine, shi's 7-feet tall at the shoulder, and easily 15 feet long. "I'm bigger than you."

11:06 GyroTech shrugs. "Well, maybe that offer wan't directed at you..." Gyro relaxes a bit as Aqua tickles his nose.

11:07 Aquamarine smiled. "But I probably could eat you if I tried. Not going to without your permission, though."

11:10 Dumisani chuckles. "Not good prey. Panic too much."

11:10 Aquamarine smiled and tickled his nose. "I can respect that."

11:12 GyroTech groans. "My panicing has never stopped anypony...not you, not Naisol, not Dusk...I'm just lucky no pony with negative intentions has had their way with me yet.

11:13 Dumisani teases, "You like it. Don't lie." Shi sticks hir broad tongue out at GyroTech

11:13 Aquamarine giggled, tickling Gryo's belly.

11:14 Xolani giggles as she keeps on pulling the cart. "I think you need to lighten up some, GyroTech. For all the times you have been eaten, I would expect that you would be used to it by now."

11:17 GyroTech squirms and laughs as Aqua tickles his belly. "Hey cut that out," he whines, but seems to still be enjoying it. Inbetween his laughter he protests. "I..I just don't like strange ponies doing that to me is all, and only certain times..."

11:18 Dumisani just chuckles softly. "At least I'm not a pony."

11:19 Aquamarine smiled. "Look on the bright side. Nopony's digested you yet."

11:19 Xolani laughs some more as the head into town. "I never thought that I would say this, but I look forward to being eaten, again. It has a certain...closeness to it."

11:20 GyroTech tries to continue protesting but is a bit flustered. "I...well...ughh..."

11:20 Aquamarine smiled. "Check and mate." She turned back to Xolani. "And I'd be happy to obligue."

11:21 Dumisani quirks an eyebrow a little, but doesn't say anything.

11:22 Xolani looks over to Dumisani, smiling softly while speaking in Zwahili //Do not fret, my dear. I still love you, and I always will.//

17:05 Xolani laughs as she looks over at the now flustered GyroTech. "If you are worried about safety, then just remember that any eating will take place at my home."

17:07 Aquamarine smiled and awaited their arrival at Zolani's house.

17:08 GyroTech makes a face at Xolani. "You mean that place where you would of been some mares meal if I hadn't come along?"

17:08 Dumisani chuckles some more, then snorts at GyroTech's comment

17:10 Xolani sighs as she keeps on pulling, soon seeing the house. "I probably would have found a way out, eventually. I was just happy to have a pony assist me."

17:11 Aquamarine smiled. "Well, you wont need to worry about that with me. ^^"

17:12 GyroTech notices the house. "Cmon Xolani, its taken you twice as long to get back as it took Dumi to pull us there. We're almost there."

17:13 Xolani finally parks her cart as she unhitches herself, narrowing your eyes at GyroTech. "You should be glad that we didn't ask you, a stallion, to pull the cart."

17:14 Aquamarine blushes. "Um ... Can you guys help me get inside~?"

17:16 Dumisani chuckles some more.

17:16 Xolani nods as she offers to lean against the merpony as much as she can for support.

17:17 Aquamarine smiled and obligued, leaning against the zebra.

17:17 GyroTech climbs out of the back of the cart nad takes the other side of the merpony, triing to bring her inside

17:20 Xolani grins as the group manages to bring Aquamarine inside, carefully setting her down on a couch. "There...is there anything you need for now?"

17:21 Aquamarine smiled. "Need? No. Want? Yes."

17:21 GyroTech grins. "Oh thats very kind of you Xolani, how about some lemonade?"

17:22 Xolani laughs as she playfully shoves the unicorn over to Aquamarine. "I'll be back in the kitchen to make some."

17:23 Dumisani settles into a nearby corner, resting hir weight against the frame of the house.

17:23 Aquamarine Aquamarine smiled and picked up Gyro, hugging him against her belly.

17:25 GyroTech tenses up as he's lifted off the ground and picked up by Aquamarine, his tail flicking a bit nervously. He feels her skin pressing against his own.

17:26 Aquamarine smiled and stroked his mane. "Relax. I won't hurt you."

17:28 GyroTech relaxes involuntarily as she plays with his mane. "I-I'm not worried about that. I can handle myself." he says with false confidence.

17:28 Xolani comes back with a tray of a few glasses and a pitcher of lemonade on her back.

17:29 Dumisani smirks.

17:29 Aquamarine smiled and levitate a glass up to her.

17:30 GyroTech removes himself from her hug and walks over to the tray, pouring himself some lemonade and taking a seat as he sips on it. "So, how did eating Xolani save her?" he inquires.

17:31 Xolani takes a seat on the couch alonf with Aquamarine, taking a sip from her own glass.

17:31 Aquamarine smiled as she finished her lemonade. "She was being attacked by a Leviathin. It's hard to eat a pony when they're inside a faster swimmer."

17:34 GyroTech asks, "And what? I find it hard to beleive that Leviathins don't eat Merponies as well. Did she not slow you down?"

17:35 Aquamarine smiled. "Having ponies in you doesn't really affect your ability to swim very much."

17:36 Xolani reminds, "You have to remember that I was a filly at the time; and Aquamarine is more than a capable swimmer."

17:37 Aquamarine smiled. "Being much larger helps, too."

17:37 Dumisani shakes hir head. "Between lions and sea monsters..."

17:38 Xolani giggles at Dumisani. "Yes, I seem to attract all sorts of things..."

17:38 GyroTech gives the pair a skeptical look. "And were you two friends before? Or did you just eat her up as a snack and then have second thoughts."

17:38 Aquamarine giggled. "No. I never digest ponies."

17:40 Xolani blinks at GyroTech. "She was very nice to me, even as she ate me. Of course I wanted to head back right to shore, after the encounter with the Leviathan. But I never felt any malice from her."

17:42 Dumisani snorts. "Good thing too."

17:43 GyroTech lets out a long sigh. "I...I guess I'll trust your judgement on this one matter," he says in resigned voice.

17:45 Xolani shrugs as she looks over at Aquamarine, then back to GyroTech. "She had every chance to just leave me inside of her...but she only wanted company, with every intent on letting me back on shore."

17:51 Aquamarine smiled. "I wasn't going to risk her being afraid of me.
