10:12 < Annie the Eagle> Rood!
10:13 < Gyro Feather> Nuh uh! You're a tasty eagel, even if you deny it!
10:16 < Annie the Eagle> I'm not tasty! And I'm not edible, you big silly.
10:18 < Annie the Eagle> You, most certainly are though.
13:17 < Gyro Feather> MMm could do~
13:17 < Annie the Eagle> It'd have to be a bit smaller though, anyway we can work that out later.
13:17 < Annie the Eagle> But in the RP he'll want to take a bone toering at least~
13:17 < Annie the Eagle> He loves wearing parts of his prey on his feet~
13:18 < Gyro Feather> Hehe sooo...should I start?
13:20 < Annie the Eagle> Please~ :>
13:27 Gyro Feather was outside on this brisk morning day, making his way through the forest when he sees fire streak through the sky, followed by a loud crash. THe naturally curious gryphon makes his way towards the end of the arc, darting towards the end where he finds a crator in the middle of a clearing with burning grasses all surrounding the impact site. Was that...a metal object in it? How very weird for a meteor...
13:35 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray had lost control of his spaceship after coming in a bit too near of a near-miss with an asteroid, having it clip one of his engines and thus taking it out of action completely. Luckily, the impact absorbers built in meant he was almost completely unharmed, other than a mild jolt to his body. The door to the ship swung open as he kicked it open with his right foot and then climbed out, hopping to his feet and sniffing at the air, looking around with his keen eyesight. The gryphon was not quite visible to him mainly due to him first being more interested in the surroundings themselves. He rummaged around the ship for the next five minutes, salvaging what he could, a foldable hunting compound bow, some projectiles for it and a small machine for nanoweave was all he could find, although the machine had no resources so it was rather useless to him at this time. His boots were also a loss, because they were wrecked in the crumble zone of the ship. So, he puts his survival sack over his wings and sets off in a direction, which happened to be North, unbeknownst to him, not that knowing it would have really changed much for him.
13:39 Gyro Feather gasps from his spot on the northside of the crater as he sees the body emerge from the space ship. Aliens? A creature from another planet? That was unheard of. Was it friendly or foeish? All he knew is he didnt want to be the one to find out about that, and so he ducks behind a rock, to sit and observe. Of course, to the keen avali ears, even with their normally poor eyesight, he's soon be spotted, from the sound of his breathing alone, as it reaches his ears. And to make matters worse, his bright colorful body would certainly stand out among the grey should he happen to turn to face him once she's over the ridge.
13:46 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray was walking with his footfalls being quite audible, being that avali feet were larger than most avian feet, before coming to a stop, seeing the pink feathers from a creature that was trying to remain out of sight. The Avali was about to pay it no mind, being that he too was not aware of whether it was friendly or foeish. His usual playful attitude got the better of him though, plus the fact he hadn't eaten in such a long time that he simply pounced in that direction. Of course, he wouldn't hit his prey directly, being that there was also a tree in the way, which is why he only caught partial sight of the pink creature, but it did let him get a jump on the creature. "Hello there, are we playing hide and seek?" he said bouncily. His playful attitude had often gotten him into trouble back on Avalon, as well as into a few sticky situations in the past, but his agility and speed usually helped to get him out of those, and based on the size of this creature before him, he highly doubted it was much of a threat to him.
13:50 Gyro Feather lets out a little yelp and hops backwards when the alien seems to rush at him, darting onto the far side of the boulder he was hiding behind. Then, he hears...well at first it sounds strange and foriegn, but then a secondary noise fills the air....was that....it was equestrian. He sits there for a moment in stunned silence, before poking his head out again, this time having hopped up onto the rock, out of easy reach of teh strange being. "You....you speak Equestrian? No...I was just worried about wither you might not be uhh....friendly...but at least you're making contact...." He says, and his words have the same effect on the avali before him, sounding foriegn, a harsh squawking, but then the words repeat in his own languge as his implant translates.
13:54 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray continued to speak normally, unsure exactly which language the creature ended up hearing, but the fact they were able to understand each other was what was important. His belly rumbled as he continued to ask "What planet is this? Where am I, and where can I find metals that I can use to repair my ship, so I can return to Avalon." he said, producing a list of materials he would require, albeit it was just in symbols that were unlikely to be of any help to the creature before him. "What are you, anyway?" he asked his playful persona currently taking a backseat so he could at least secure his ship's repair.
14:03 Gyro Feather shrugs his shoulders and answers the question, filtered through the avali's speaker and then says, "Well...I mean this is equestria...as far as metals, you can probably put an order in at one fo the workshops in the nearby city," he answers. The bird glares down at that list, but nothing there is understandable to him, and there's no universal translater to aid with that sort of thing. "I have no clue what this <aproximation of avali sounds to make up Avalon> is...but I'm a gryphon...though you'll see not to many of me, and more ponies around thses parts." Those two words, of course, have no translation to him, and come out just as unintelligible for the Avali. The bird looks down warily at the creature though....still unsure about helping him further.
14:19 < Gyro Feather> (Niip
14:19 < Annie the Eagle> (Oop, it didn't give me a notification)
14:23 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray only seemed interested in the nearby city which he could probably find on his own, "How far is this nearby city that you speak of?" he asked wondering if he'd need to eat something before he set off there, seeing nothing much of edible value arou--- apart from the creature before him, of course. He didn't really know if these 'Gryphon' creatures were edible or not, but being that they looked vaguely similar to a few creatures he'd seen... and eaten... before, he figured it might not be all that dangerous to try. He hoped they weren't too far, otherwise he might just have to eat this somewhat helpful stranger. All for survival, of course~
14:35 Gyro Feather brings a claw to his his beak and taps on it several times as he thinks., before then resorting to chewing on his talon. "Well...its about an hour by air...but you've got to go through a forrest if you go that way....perhaps it might be better if you walk...." The bird points towards the west, "That direction towareds teh coast, and then follow the coast line up towards the city. I'd say its somewhere around half a days walk at most, as long as you kep up a steady pace." The bird explains, shifting around on the rock and getting a little more comfortable with this new creature now.
14:41 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray seems surprised at the time taken for the walk. This planet didn't look all that big from space, but then of course, it always looks small when you're far enough away. He looked around and then shrugged. "I'm hungry though, I need to eat something." he said before then looking back over to you. "Something like you."
14:49 Gyro Feather yelps at that sudden declaration and then is quick to take to the air, showing off his powers of flight. "No you dont! There's plenty of nonsentient stuff to eat in the forest...go look for something like that," He squawks down at the creature, circling above him now, sure that he's out of reach of anything he could do.
15:00 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray pulls out his compound hunting bow as it quickly unfolds itself, his eyes almost light up as if a bionic implant was now allowing him enhanced augmented reality which allowed him to effortlessly aim at his target. "How about you come right back down here before I shoot you straight through your wings and make you come down, hm?" he said firmly, but still keeping his slightly playful attitude. "It'll be like shooting fishies in a barrel for me, I was the best shot in Avalon.
15:06 Gyro Feather narrows his eyes at that threat and then turns to take off. He knows what a bow is when he sees one, and he's not about to stick around to see just how good of a shot the avali is. "I hope something bigger comes along and eats you!" He calls out as he makes his way further and further away from teh avali, though a bow of that stature probably has decent range.
15:12 < Annie the Eagle> [i]Ray immediately draws and fires, shooting straight through the wing of the gryphon, clearly the Avali was quite the sharpshooter indeed, as now flying was excruciatingly painful and would certainly not be possible for very much longer without risking permanent damage to the muscles within.
