08:51 < Gyro Feather> Indeed, but I'm sure I"ll manage~ Am stretchy birb :D

But anyways, perhaps a drunk patron had eyes for Ryker, and catches him in the alley as he's walking back from work?

08:54 < Ryker Rhoden> Works for me, to be honest. Maybe after kicking him out for being too drunk?

08:55 < Gyro Feather> Sounds like a plan~

08:55 < Gyro Feather> I do insist that the food starts~

08:57 < Ryker Rhoden> Plus, it's just fitting, in this little scenario.~

08:57 < Gyro Feather> And that the pred ends up being the closer, ya know?

09:00 Ryker Rhoden took the cash first this time, rather than pulling the pint immediately, lowering his head down to look the gryphon right in the eyes. "Hey, you doing well enough at this point? I'll save you the garbage little 'How many fingers am I holding up?' spiel, but... This is your last, okay? I want you either on water, or out my door after you finish this glass." He pulled the handle back at this point, still filling it up to the brim, before setting it down in front of his patron. "Sorry to be doing this to one so nice, but... It's ultimately for your own good, you understand?" He lowered his head again, before moving over to other customers.

09:06 Gyro Feather was still managed to keep his head off of the table as he took the glass and began to sip this last mug of cider. Before he's even halfway done, however, the gryphon seems to lose his balance on that stool for no reason. Wings flail and claws jerk as he tries to regain it, in th eprocess splashing his mug across the bar. Its not enough though, and then after than instant of panic, he, and the stool he was sitting on crash backwards to the ground with a crack. The gryphon groans in both pain and a daze as he lies there on the floor, with everything spinning around him.

09:10 Ryker Rhoden didn't quite notice the sudden loss of balance at first, still keeping his focus upon other patrons, only noticing the commotion when there was the sound of splashing, in itself seeming to point more towards a potential fight between patrons. He just happened to reach one hand down to a weapon under the bar, releasing that grasp once he saw the gryphon vanish. Luckily, the glass on the bar got caught on the design rather than crashing down onto his head, the fox hopping out from the side. "Yeah, there we go... You've definitely had enough. Come on." The stool wasn't important for now, orange fur hooking under feathers to lift him up, back onto his feet, facing towards the door.

09:15 Gyro Feather lays there for a while as he gets his bearings back, and doesnt even seem to pudge, at least until the fox starts to help him up to his feet. It takes a little bit of work, but at least being a bird, his body was light for its size. "Ughhhh...." he groans when his paws and claws are finally under him. Though, there's a sudden moment of lucidity as Ryker decides he's done. "But...you said after that glass, and I did not get a chance o finish that glass," He complains in a slurry of words that makes none of them terribly distinct. Ignoring the fox, he turns back to the bar and begins to slide past him to stand at it this time, getting up on his hind legs and resting his claws on the counter.

09:19 Ryker Rhoden still keeps his patron up, personally moving towards the door... Just as the gryphon turned to move back to the bar. He didn't try too hard to keep him closing, figuring he would topple straight back over without support, and being relatively surprised that he actually manages to reach the bar once more. "I did indeed say after that glass, but..." The fox hopped behind the bar, getting the gryphon's glass and putting it under the counter. "But if you want to finish all this by dragging your beak over the counter and lapping up what remains, in front of everyone watching, then by all means. And then you can get out." He held a cloth at the ready, prepared to mop it up if needed. "You're definitely cut off, now."

09:26 Gyro Feather looks from Ryker back to the puddle on the bar, though his eyes seem to wander, having trouble focusing on any one thing in particular, though for the moment he seems to consider the idea. And then it looks like he's drunk enough to try it. His beak lowers and his tongue comes out, in the process soaking up a good deal of the sweet cider into his feathers. And then he slips, and with a crack, his head hits the counter this time as he falls. Briefly it seems like he's on all fours, but then he topples again, clattering to the ground. "You...you should just give me a full glass...I'm not done!" He protests.

09:30 Ryker Rhoden glared down from above at him with his head on the counter, giving no words, but with an expression that so clearly said. 'Please, please don't. Just let it go...' That expression broke as feather were flattened, just giving a little sigh, scanning around the bar in the hope that there wouldn't be anyone recording such a moment. And then just looking back right in time to see yet another, more dangerous fall this time. "D-Damn it!" He hopped again, relief washing over him as he realised he couldn't see any blood, at least. Still, what if he was to fall with his back on the stool that was still lying down... "No, no! You're out, now. For your own health!" He lifted the gryphon up once more, a firmer grasp on that light body this time.

09:44 Gyro Feather is feeling even more dizzy this time from the second thump that oh so clearly hit his head this time. His eyes cant even focus on Ryker as the other's arms lift beneath his body and cradle him towards the door. All the while, the bird is flapping his feathers and squirming wildly with his talons. It looks like he might even be trying to push off of the fox, but his claws go wide every time. "I said I'm fine, its not even one yet. THere's a half an hour till close," the gryphon argues back, making a fuss. If anyone hadnt been filming the initial act, certainly the present activities attracted some attention from the raucous bar. Even still, they're all the way outside soon enough, and the gryphon has yet to manage to break free from the other's grasp.

09:44 < Gyro Feather> (Ahh shit sorry about that delay, wont happen again, had to deal with something.

09:45 < Ryker Rhoden> (No problem!)

09:49 Ryker Rhoden occasionally twitched around a little, those claws weren't exactly trying to dig into him or anything, but... That didn't make him any less nervous about what they could do to him. He was lucky enough to not need an ambulance for the gryphon, but it would be so much worse to end up with himself the one on a stretcher. "I dread to think of how much damage you could do in that half hour. To your outside, your insides, and the insides of my bar, too. Come on, I'm not banning you or anything. I'm just saying that for the rest of the day, you need to get out. Maybe get yourself some water for tomorrow morning, too." He kicked past the door to the bar, sitting the gryphon down outside. "Don't. Come. Back. In."

09:56 Gyro Feather reponse to Ryker with a growl instead as he's dropped outside the back door. "I'm going to damage you for this," he says, attemtping to sound menacing, but right now he just sounds pathetic with how everything slurs together. He attempts to spring to his feet as the fox turns around, and only manage to slowly roll over and get up long after the door has shut. He moves up to it and tries to jerk it open...but being the back, its locked. Rather than trying around to the front, which would likely still be open, he continues to bang and tug on that knob for about 10 minutes, before finally falling into an exhaussted stupor behind the door. Of course, when opened, it'd be sure to bump into him and wake him back up.

10:05 Ryker Rhoden shrugged, before sighing. "Look, if you want another pint, I'm sure you can go to another pub. Or a club. And I'm sure that you'll be let in by the bouncer. Now you just stay here for a bit or something. Phone a friend!" He kicks the door open again, opening to cheers, while the momentary bit of intimidation would have spooked anyone who happened to have weaseled their way behind the bar. He mopped up the last bit of lingering cider, and continued the service for the rest of the night, blissfully aware of any disturbance at the back. Even if they hadn't had the gryphon to compare themselves to, no one else was rambuntious, all the other patrons buying, then eventually leaving. The front door was shuttered, then the fox went to the back, looking down at the gryphon once more. "...Well, at least it's shelter." What could he do about it? He just waited in the doorway, considering such.

10:11 Gyro Feather was off to the side of the door, hardly visible out of the small port, or at least he would be if not for his tell tale bright blue fur that contrasted with pretty much anything he could end against. The bird just lays there, snoozing but also obviously in the way for when Ryker had to come out of it. It looked like there'd been a light rain out side too, based on the dampness of the ground, though Gyro is safe and sound beneath the ridge of the roof line.

10:18 Ryker Rhoden worked on a few more menial tasks, things that weren't quite so essential, but at least now he wouldn't have to do it tomorrow. But even then, after what may well have been a quarter of an hour at least, the gryphon was still just... There. And no way the fox could force the door, could easily break a few things by pushing too hard. It was getting to be a little too much, lucky then, that he had enough room to pour a glass of water out of the crack in the door, almost all of it landing right onto that beak. "Come on... Really don't want to have to bother with that shutter at the front."

10:21 Gyro Feather starts awake as the rush of ice cold water splatters on his snout, and then runs down into his pink neck feathers, causing him to toss his wings in the air, banging one of them against the door as he looks for his assailant. The bird is thoroughly confused though, and gets up to his feet, leaning along the rail of the ramp that led down to the street level. Now he could feel the chilly rain coming down and starts to realize that's what must have woken him up. In even that hour of time, it looks like his patron is a fair bit more coordinated than he had been at the time of being kicked out.

10:28 Ryker Rhoden watches from within the building, narrowly avoiding his finger getting wedged between door and frame as that wing slammed against the door. Still, based off that, along with all the other sounds the gryphon was making, it would only be a few minutes before the fox could finaly go home after all the hassle today. The lights were off, the coat promptly put on, and then he too went out into the rain, surprised to see the gryphon was moving, rather than just having rolled off to the side and went back to sleep. Well, whatever, it didn't matter, the back door was locked, and now he was walking home...

10:35 Gyro Feather was moving behind the fox at a slower pace, trying to get his bearings, when realization dawns on him. That was the fox who'd kicked him out of the bar. With a Snarl whoe's noise is covered up by the cascading rain drops, the drunk bird leaps forward to try and tackle Ryker. Of course, do to hsi lack of coordination, he lands just at the other's feet and then ends up tumbling forward. Even still, by the end of the rolling down the ramp, it ends with bird atop of Fox, though their both ina jumbled mess. "Ypu owe me a drink..." he says sternly, "And another for that treatment in there."

10:39 < Ryker Rhoden> (Oh lawd I totally lost track of time, I gotta get ready to go out, sorry!)

10:39 < Gyro Feather> (Ah darn, well raincheck

10:39 < Gyro Feather> (?

10:40 < Ryker Rhoden> (Yeah, yeah, sorry. I've got you bookmarked now, at the very least.)

10:41 < Ryker Rhoden> (Will definitely continue sometime! Guess I'll add temp in...~)
