22:33 Floofy_Odyssey *Well, no one is really sure how you got there, but you've just entered the revolving door of the Hotel. The interior has a 1920's feel to it. The kind of feeling that there's a gilded grand piano to the left, with many potted plants sporadically placed around the edges of the room. In the back there's an elevator with a number pad where you'd usually see just an 'up' or a 'down' button. , with luscious red carpeting underneath your hooves and claws. It feels like its brand new. Like. Not a single pony has ever walked on this carpet ever before. Before the elevator sits a pretty pink pegasus pony, dressed in a typical 1930's bell-hop attire. She's got a flat-topped hat, a red uniform with two lines of golden buttons running vertically on either side of the front of her uniform, and golden accents at various points of the uniform. 22:37 GyroTech looks around the entry way to the hotel, taking in the sights of it all. Hmm...he didnt remember booking such a fancy place...but he must have. He looks down at the reservation in his claws and it looks like its the right place. Spotting no one else here even at the reception desk, he makes his way over to the bell hop and nudges at her ribs with his talons.

"WELCOME TO THE HOTEL!"
She rather suddenly relaxes, looking confused. "I... don't recognize you. Are you a new character?"

22:40 GyroTech head tilts at the mare and raises an eyebrow. "A...new character? I mean...I'm a new guest here I think...this is the hotel listed here right?" He thrusts the paper document into her face

22:43 Floofy_Odyssey *She reflexively arches backwards in an attempt to not have it- smack. Yup. It went right into her face.* "Euuugh... Erm..." *she snatches it from your talons.* "Oh! No no no... you're in the wrong place. In fact. You're in a completely wrong roleplay." *she giggles and shakes her head.* "This is a hotel for characters who are outside their normal roleplays. I knew I recognized you from somewhere! Volt talks about you every now and then. He's the owner of the hotel. Black stallion... electric mane. Something like this." *She holds up a somewhat-modest picture.*

22:45 GyroTech head tilts in a fair amount of confusion as the mare here lets him know that he's not got the right location at all. "Are...you sure? I'm pretty sure that address lines up properly. When Gyro sees the picture of the stallion he raises a brow and shakes his head. "Nope...never seen that pony in my life."

22:47 Floofy_Odyssey "Huh. Well he certainly knows you. Uhm..." *She shrugs* "We don't really have any.." *she mumbles something and then points at the number pad.* "Floor 72."

22:51 GyroTech goes over to the number pad and picks floor 60-72, just to see whats on each of them.

22:52 Floofy_Odyssey Floor 60.... well... The elevator opens up. Do you enter?

22:52 GyroTech just peaks his head in to see if he sees anything interesting

22:53 Floofy_Odyssey It's a regular elevator. There's no buttons on the inside, and the inside's covered in mirrors.

22:55 Floofy_Odyssey It closes automatically behind you. And then immediately opens while your back was turned. You... didn't even feel it move.

22:56 GyroTech blinks at that, and then turns to glance out the door. He looks around to see any indication of what floor he's on

22:58 Floofy_Odyssey It's not the place you've came in. In fact... it's a clear blue sky. There's no floor. You're just in the middle of a sky. There's clouds everywhere.

23:00 GyroTech sticks his head out of the elevator and looks down to see just how high up he is. He's not sure he feels like flying however and likely will pass.

23:00 Floofy_Odyssey You... don't see a ground.

23:01 Floofy_Odyssey You DO see the top of what appears to be a large flying... ship? Can't be an airship. It doesn't have a balloon! But it's definitely flying. Oooo. It's about a mile long, and just right below you.*

23:02 GyroTech indeed retreats back to the elevator and looks around for a door close button.

23:04 Floofy_Odyssey The door closes and then opens again. You're now on the ground floor.

23:04 GyroTech blinks at that...he this time hits the elevator number 72 and returns back to his elevator

23:05 Floofy_Odyssey The door closes and opens again, and now you're looking at a simple, stereotypical hotel room.

23:06 GyroTech hufffs at that. How boring. Still, he steps through this time and then flops over on the bed, before flipping on the TV.

23:09 GyroTech groans and turn soff the TV. He begins to inspect the rest of the room, looking for anything of interest, including in cabinets.

23:12 GyroTech head tilts at that, and then picks it up, and unceremoniously drops it into his beak. Gulp. "Hmm...that is an odd thing to keep around here..."

23:14 GyroTech then flops on the bed, and allows himself to pass out for the night, assuming nothing else happens in his sleep.

23:17 GyroTech So I moved into a new town and wanted to take up some sort of martial arts lesson but needed a down payment for a uniform. I went to a friend and we devised a scheme to get it using some technology he had for fishing.
We're getting really close when the developer of the tech comes back to the lab months later and there's a scuffle, where the thing gets destroyed.
Then I decide to rub for president as the magi, as it's the only way to protect myself from the assassins I've attracted. . I get quite a following, assisted by the instructor and my friend, and I wore a crown and some other things.
Someone decides to impersonate me on an attempt to ruin my reputation to my fans and I learn wind of it. I rip off the costume and unmask them. There's a scuffle and I toss their phone into the ocean.
Later I open up a dashboard, I think on derpi, to find a bunch of notes people had sent.
Scene.

23:19 Floofy_Odyssey *And so you wake up the next morning. There were no windows, but there are now. Weird. Outside it's just as you think the morning would be. It's a clear blue sky and you can't see the ground due to the mist. It's a misty morning! But a clear blue sky. Interesting... What do you do?*

23:19 GyroTech goes to the elevator and enters into it.

23:22 Floofy_Odyssey Nothing happens.

23:22 GyroTech bangs on the walls of the elevator several times.

23:23 Floofy_Odyssey You bang your head on the wall of the elevator and guess that you've probably forgotten to put another floor into this floor's number pad. You remember seeing it on the way in. Or maybe you didn't? Or maybe you did. Something about this room feels hazy, malleable, and strange.

23:25 GyroTech leaves the elevator, rather frustrated when it doesnt do anything...and...as he's stepping out he sees the number pad on the side of the wall. How silly of him. He hits the 1 button...but it seems like the button is stuck and wont take it...then...he sighs and picks a random floor number. 34...

23:35 Floofy_Odyssey The door opens up into a cave, with a circular-shape that seems devoid of all life. The floor is a mixture between soft, wet stones and sharp-looking stalagmites jutting up from between the stones. The only light comes from the elevator you're in, and in the distance is a hazy reddish darkness. In the bowels of the cavern can hear the combined screams of a thousand ponies, their ear-grinding sounds more suited to a mass murder than the inside of a mountain.

23:36 GyroTech shudders as he hears the calls and harsh noise...and yet for some reason he's also slightly intrigued and starts to step his way into the cavern, heading deeper into the haze. This whole thing was rather odd...he had to have been in a dream.

23:38 Floofy_Odyssey You begin your journey down into the cave. The stones part ways as your claws and hooves press between them. There's something **crunchy** underneath the stones, but its too hard to make out. The smell of blood greets your nostrils. . . and now your claws too.*

23:42 GyroTech shuders as he feels the strange crunch like stepping on bugs beneath his talons and hind paws, but he presses forward none the less. The smell of blood in the air makes his belly rumble, reminding the gryphon that he's not had any breakfast this morning. Such an odd bird. He continues moving on, heading deeper inside.

23:50 Floofy_Odyssey *You trekk further and further into the cave. The screams are getting louder by the moment, and show no sign of stopping anytime soon. Something whizzes by your head, barely shaving off a half of a feather. What was that!? An arrow? A bullet? Something worse? You've scarcely begun to think about it when a zombie's torso bursts out of the rocks below to grab at your face! . . . but the rotten thing's foreleg fell off before it could get a good grip.*

00:05 GyroTech squawks and darts to the side after he feels that object wiz past him followed by a loud boom half a moment afterwards. He feels that claw break out of the ground and then suddenly forces himself into the air. He turns back to head towards the elevator...though he's taken several turns and as he moves he's getting more and more lost in the tunnels.

00:06 Floofy_Odyssey You slam into a wall. There were no other side-caves to go down, but there's very little light to see! Behind you is a gargling moan as some**thing** crawls at you, but you're in the air. You figure you must be safe.... **for now.**

00:12 GyroTech squawks at that noise and then, unable to see back, knows the only way he can go is forward if he's to remain airborn. He slowly flies in that direction, careful not to let himself land as he does so

00:16 Floofy_Odyssey Something else whizzes past your head and by some amount of dumb luck you see light up ahead. It's... It's the elevator! Thank Celestia!

00:17 GyroTech makes a dive towards the elevator, and as he wizzes past it, his talons reach out and slap a random button on the console of the door. He's got to get out of here.

11:57 GyroTech hmmm a to himself and trots out into the tall grass. His bright vibrant colors show plainly across the sea of grass, making him an easy target for anyone to spot.

11:59 Floofy_Odyssey *Seems inhabited by a herd of zebras minding their own business near a pasture. In the distance some lions laze about. It seems... peaceful? Too peaceful.*

*tap tap tap. Something taps his head thrice. Felt like a claw.*

12:03 GyroTech squawks upon feeling the soft blows of a talon against his sensitive head feathers and jerk forward, startled as he quickly turns his head. He'd just been looking that way... And there hadn't been anything there.

12:05 Floofy_Odyssey There's... nothing. But you could have sworn you felt something. You see and hear nothing except the normal sounds the African plains. Birds chirping in the distance. Etc.

12:07 GyroTech frowns upon the edges of his beak. As he looks all around across the planes, turning his head quickly to try and catch sight of a quick foe. He Swipes at the air and also glances upwards.

12:09 Floofy_Odyssey a pair of draconian eyes meet yours, and then dissappear into nothingness. Whatever it is, it's invisible!

12:12 GyroTech yelps at that and attempts to tackle the invisible figure to prove that he is indeed real and not a hallucinations.

12:21 GyroTech wraps his claws around the horns and attempts to hoist himself up our of that long spindly green tongue that soaks his feathers and fur, groaning with disgust at that hot slime. Surely the toast of zombie in him will be enough to dissuade it. "Let me go, darn it."

12:30 GyroTech is surprised at the ease of getting the dragon to let go and, along with the thrust of his wings, clambers up on top of her head, holding onto her horn like handles. "I'm gyro by the way."_

12:32 Floofy_Odyssey "Shuraiya. Why are you on top of my head?" *she tilts her head to the left, a bit confused.*

12:35 GyroTech chuckles nervously. "Well I was hiding her because I thought that you were going to eat me."

12:48 GyroTech "and well... I felt safer out of reach. "

13:09 Floofy_Odyssey *She laughs heartily, and within a few moments a long green tongue boops your beak. It happened in a flash of movement, far faster than you would have expected.*
"Silly. You're not out of reach. Nuh uh."

13:14 GyroTech wrinkles his face as that slimy appendage smears his Beak with a hot smelly drool, and cries out, "eeuugghhh' alright, just keep that away.... anyways why did you tap me?"

13:17 Floofy_Odyssey "Becaaaause you came to my floor and were about to be torn apart by a lion. That's why! I tried to tell you, but you slammed into me."
"PFEH!"

13:25 GyroTech blinks down at the large dragon and tilts his head to his side, looking down off of her to see if he can spot any said lion around. "Uhh...I dont see any such...and your floor? Do all the floors here lead to some sort of pocket dimension save for mine?"

13:31 Floofy_Odyssey "Of course not silly... I ate him while you weren't looking." she grins happily, proud of her silent accomplishment. "Each floor is its own tiny pocket dimension tied to its owner. Uhm. Wait. You have a floor!? Oh wow! That's super cool!"

13:33 GyroTech sighs and shakes his head at her and flutters off of her to land on the ground. "Sure... But it's just a hotel room. It's rather boring...and all the other floors here are weird."

13:34 Floofy_Odyssey "They all start out that way. Did you try to change it at all?" *she lays down in place, eliciting the first sound you've heard from her. A small thud.*
