11:53 < Annie the Eagle> So, I was thinking, perhaps Gyro hasn't really been pulling his weight around like others in Aquilarum (Annie's nation). He's been taking more than he's giving (Aquilarum has no currency, but is more like a BitTorrent Private Tracker Network, you gotta give to receive).
11:53 < Annie the Eagle> So he has a private audit meeting with Annie herself... and it ends up with him being shown off to a gryphon neighbourhood as a splatter c:
11:59 Gyro Feather rereads the summons as he stands at the doorstep of the captital building, checking for the 100th time that he had read the thing right. Surely Annie wasnt inviting him to her office...he'd not done anything wrong he was sure of it. And yet, there it was plain as day. The gryphon considers delaying, having heard rumors of what goes on in there...but to not respond was a very public fate indeed...and he wanted to keep his feathers, and his head.
Taking a deep breath, the gryphon pushes open the door and shows the summons to a guard who lets him into Annie's office. Which he does timidly, though his beautiful plumage cant help but make him look almost gaudy compared to many gryphons.
12:02 Annie the Eagle stood on my perch behind the massive yet tidy desk, various computer displays showing the general state of Aquilarum, all was normal. "Gyro Feather, hm?" I said as I motioned for you to come forward. "I've been informed from sources, that you are taking more than your fair share? Worked 4 days but then took 11 as a holiday, which is fine on its own, but then to return and be working at only 22% of your normal average, seems like you're lazing around a little too much." I said clearly and authoritively.
I straightened up after having read the report and then looked down at the gryphon, "How do you answer the allegations and findings?"
12:06 Gyro Feather shrinks down lower and lower under the accusations, biting down on his beak. His tail curls beneath his rump, and his feathers flatten down against hsi head. He takes a deep breath and responds to those particular accusations. "I mean, I'm one of the best Naval Architects in the country...and your shipwrites have put me up on a difficult problem. Its not that I have been working slow, its that the work is just slow going," he counters in an attempt to inflate his position. While it was true that he was pretty good, he'd been lollygagging on some of the more recent projects, but his work was still, if a bit slow.
12:09 Annie the Eagle looked rather unimpressed at your defence, after all, your project you had been assigned had since been reassigned to another architect who had indeed been quite successful in designing a new underwater submersible for the Aquilarum Navy. "Hmm, you are good, yes, but so are many others, and you've been caught on CCTV just lying around, even sleeping on the job, and that is certainly not the Aquilarum way now, is it?" I responded with a sarcastic note at the end.
It seems as though the horror stories floating around as to what happens to those given summons, just like the one you received, were starting to become reality.
12:16 Gyro Feather clenches his beak and runs over the particular accusation in his mind. He gives another shake of his head, and tries to look confidently up at Annie. "No, you see, those naps were vitally important. My biggest inspiration for new innovations comes to me while I'm sleeping. If...you look in those records, you'll see that just last year I came up with a widely adopted rudder design, which improved steering efficacy by 2%. Surely you dont want to disrupt that?" He asks, grasping at straws. In truth the gryphon had been riding on /that/ particular achievement since he'd come up with it.
12:25 < Annie the Eagle> (I need to quickly head to dinner, I apologise for not telling you earlier, but when I return, would you like to continue with me?)
12:25 < Annie the Eagle> (That was my mistake, and I do apologise for that!)
12:26 < Gyro Feather> (Possibly, I dont make promises on future moods though
12:27 < Annie the Eagle> (I understand, I won't be long anyway :))
12:58 < Annie the Eagle> (Returned!:0
12:58 < Annie the Eagle> (Still wanna play?)
13:00 < Gyro Feather> (sure!
13:09 < Annie the Eagle> (Okay c: Just went bathroom, now ready to continue :D)
13:12 Annie the Eagle nodded "Oh yes, those rubber treads are great indeed. But don't you remember you were also allowed to take a 40 day holiday for that as a celebrationary reward and during those 40 days you enjoyed all the facilities Aquilarum had to offer?" she said looking through your file once more. "No, no that won't do anymore I'm afraid. I think we both know where this is going. You will be punished, Gyro, I'm afraid." she spoke as if she was simply decreeing your punishment there and then. "On-top of that, it shows me here, that you were assigned a junior trainee, but you didn't help them, so much so, that they ended up partnering with, Sven, is it?"
Things certainly weren't looking on the upside for you anymore, every single time you spoke with an excuse, it was countered, right there in black and white, and the records WERE indeed accurate. It wasn't something she was just making up to get you in her gizzard.
13:29 Gyro Feather frowns and clucks a couple times as he tries to come up with another excuse. Trembling before the large bird, he finally gulps and asks, "So...what punishment am I getting? Confined to my house for a week? Double work load?" He asks, hoping that the bird before him will be reasonable. Still though, he casts a glance around the room, searching for an exit, fearing that the worst might come. "I'm sure nothing too drastic is necessary. You're made your point quite clear, and I'm eager to draw up a blueprint for a skiff design I'd been envisioning...something you might quite like as a pleasure vessel..."
13:33 Annie the Eagle shook her beak sternly "No, something different as a punishment. An example needs to be made out of gryphons. You will be eaten, and then your remains shown to the most affluent gryphon neighbourhood in Aquilarum.", I said plainly, as if it was common practice to condemn someone into being food for the mighty eagle. "You will be eaten whole, here and now, and digested alive into sustenance for me. There is no other choice, I am afraid." I said. I was aware that the poor, doomed gryphon was searching for an exit, but alas, there wasn't one that wasn't guarded by the most elite of the Aquilarum Royal Guard.
13:39 Gyro Feather tremors further as he hears her declaration, and lets out a loud screech of fear. Gyro flares his wings and turns to flee darting towards one of the windows that illuminated the chamber. They were of course reinforced glass, but the scared creature didnt know that. He flighs at the window with all his might and then pulls himself into a ball at the last moment. The bird thuds hard into it, bruising him self terribly, but he doesnt crash through. He just adds another small facture to join the others of previous attempted escapees. The blow stuns him and he begins to fall towards the ground.
13:48 Annie the Eagle tuts a little disappointedly, "You know, I almost want to get that glass fixed so that it is as prestine as everything else around here, but to remind me of the attempts of those who try to escape, those who defy my kingdom, it is worth having those tiny fractures stick around for a while. I dart off my perch and in your dazed state, you were ripe for the plucking. I grabbed your head with my beak and started to lift you up, hoisting your still helpless form into my beak. It would certainly take effort to get you down, but oh, for your taste it was most certainly worth it. I started by pulling your head into my beak, the tongue forming a nice warm mushy bed for your head to rest while the rigged roof of my beak prevented you from backpeddling and escaping.
14:00 Gyro Feather is caught mid tumble by the bird nearly twice his height, drawing sharp tears in his flesh as she grabs ahold of him. little droplets of blood ooze out now where his body sags in her grip. And before he can recover, his beak is thrust deep into the warm embrace of the other's maw. That raw stench of digesting meat, however, is enough to shock the bird back into some semblence of consciousness. Gyro pulls back, his soft head feathers catching on that ridge in her beak, while his claws move up to push into her chest. The gryphon kept himself preened with spicy scented oils, which have the side effect of imparting a slight flavor to him in addition to the lovely smells they produce.
14:05 Annie the Eagle was too strong to simply be able to push yourself off with your talons into my chest, I simply pushed forward harder and that had the side effect of you slipping further into my beak. The stench within was horrific and immediately imparted the knowledge that things that end up in my gizzard certainly do not have a good time in there. My large wings wrap around my prey and start to push on your back, helping you in as your beak pushed into my throat where the scent was even worse.
It wasn't long before I hoisted you up fully, having gravity assist now in getting the wriggler down to where he belongs, my gizzard.
14:10 Gyro Feather digs his sharp points in anyways as he struggle, pretty sure he's at least making it to her soft flesh, and probably leaving small wounds in them, but it was getting him nowhere. He begins to flail his wings now too, even as the other's wings join in to press him against her body. That beak fo his squelches down into the warm flesh at the back of the other's maw, and presses down into the gullet. His head was entirely encased now and the warm liquid soaked deep into his feathers. The scent left him gagging and feeling near the state of wretching as it inundates his sense. It smelled like she'd eaten recently too...and he hoped whatever it was wasnt still down there, in that crop or in that belly.
14:10 < Gyro Feather> (Course, half digested food around a bird is <3
14:18 Annie the Eagle wasn't wounded, but did feel his desperate attempts to stay alive, and it made me all the more joyful about the experience of consuming another. As he slipped further down, he seemed to make it through the crop almost without stopping at all, because I wanted to melt him down now. After a good three to five minutes of sucking him down, his head started to push past into the proventriculus, where his feathers were coated in a deadly acid and pepsin solution. The acids were slightly bioluminescent, allowing you to see within the gizzard, even if that privilege would be taken away soon once your eyes were melted out of their sockets. It did, however, allow you to see that there was still half digested food sloshing around in there. Bits of meat sloughing off the bone, the remains of... whatever it was basically just a sludge now.
14:39 Gyro Feather 's shoulers slip down into her eager beak as gravity helps his descent, and his head pushes deeper still. The gryphon isnt even given the mercy of a stay in that first chamber, where he might be able to perhaps reason with her. Instead, as his chest slides across her beak, his own snout pushes down into the belly within. The raw scent of bile fills his nares as he's drawn deeper, and the slight glow reveals the most horid sight. He could see bones, but the ligaments had all melted away, leaving htem a jumble. No feathers floated among the remains, meaning that this was likely one of the lowely mammals that they kept. The bird squeezes his eyes shut as he's forced beneath the sludge, where the oily substance permeates beneath his feathers.
14:39 < Gyro Feather> (Sorry abotu that, machine issues >.<
14:42 < Annie the Eagle> (No worries c: )
14:47 Annie the Eagle felt him slowly sliding his way inside the stomach where he belonged. Soon, your lower torso slid past my beak and into the hot slimey tunnel that would be your grave. Inside, you could see bits of bone, and even that was slowly being dissolved, you could see small bubbles appearing on the bones as they were hollowed out and then slowly smoothed and broken down into sustenance, the horrific part about it was that soon THIS would be happening to you too. The acidic sludge coated your feathers and meant you couldn't escape it. Trying to struggle or squirm would actually AID the digestive process as it would get the powerful acids over your body even faster.
14:57 Gyro Feather kicks his hinds out as now only his rump and hind legs extend out past the beak, though they could merely wheelbarrow in the air, making little progress on actually managing to escape from her greedy gullet. Inside her stomach, he finds himself curling around, getting his face out of the goop, and allowing him to open his eyes once more, only to reveal further carnage brough on by the stomach. Still, despite that it worked against him, the bird couldnt help but flail inside there, kicking the juices around and splattering his entire body in the red tinged muck. "Spit me up! Spit me up! I'm a bird, not some dumb mammal! You cant do this to me, I have rights!"
15:08 Annie the Eagle chuckled as I finally swallowed the last of you, all you were now was a bulge in my gizzard and throat, sealed away from the outside world, allowing me to speak again unhindered "Rights, revoked." she said with authority. And deep down, you knew I could do this, as Supreme Leader I had ultimate control over any rules and was also immune to them all. I grinned as I rubbed my gullet and belly with your slithering form slowly disappearing from view. Meanwhile, within the stomach, your skin started to sting and the air around you was very acrid and acidic, making your nares burn just from a single breath.
15:22 Gyro Feather coughs and makes a face as the air in the belly began to get to his lungs, burning at the mucous membranes inside. He shouts some more, but a sudden squeezing of the stomach forces his head suddnely beneath the liquid, causing some of it to flood up into his beak and assault his tongue with its putrid sour flavor. And worse still, it singes at his tongue and makes his throat feel raw as he's forced to gulp it. This commotion shuts him up at least temporarily while he feels the tingling painful sensation begining to start on his head, and steadily creeping down further over his form towards his hinds. The more sensitive areas of his tail hole and sheath already feel like they're on fire, unprotected from the muck as he is.
15:29 Annie the Eagle felt digestion starting to work at full steam ahead, processing the poor gryphon into nutrients, your feathers starting to either be dissolved away into a sticky paste or just falling out alltogether to be lost in the deadly acids. "You are just so tasty!" I said softly as I began to consume every living iota of your body. The acids began to chemically weaken your skin so that the pepsin could actually break it down, forming wounds in your skin that allowed the acid and pepsin to further advance into you
15:37 Gyro Feather finds his feathers loosening and falling free to drift among the juices as his flesh weakens, and loses its hold ,turning bright red, and then giving way to muscles beneath it. By some mercy, the juices had already gotten into his eyes, clouding his vision from being able to truly see the horror being perpetuated on his body as he was left naked, stripped by the juices. Pain rolled over him, and then deadened as the nerves that lined his flesh burned away into the goop, exposing fat and muscles.
15:42 Annie the Eagle continued lay on the floor belly up as I rubbed my wings and feet into the bulging stomach, kneading and aiding in the breaking down of my meal. That's all you were now, a meal, a far cry from the previous title of Lead Naval Architect. Meanwhile, within, your cloaca began to sear and burn with a fury as your sensitive sexual organs were dissolved and digested into nutrients for my body, your muscles didn't fair much better, making you weaker and weaker, and finally, the acids make it into your skull, where it wouldn't be long now...
15:52 Gyro Feather 's motions grow weaker and weaker as her belly works hard, dissolving the poor bird into a thick mush of bones, feathers, fur and slurry, leaving much of him indistinguishable from the poor mammal that had been devoured before him. Finally as the acids break in through his eye sockets to the prescious nerve tissue inside, the gryphon lets out one last pitiful scream before he spasms and goes still.
16:01 Annie the Eagle felt him finally pass out, never to wake again. For the next few hours, my body efficiently continued to process him into nutrients and sustenance. Even his bones didn't fare well, it wasn't like most avian digestive systems which regurgitate a pellet. This gryphon was totally processed and melted down into fuel, not a single bit of him left. After about 6 hours however, I felt nature calling and took to the skies, flying as free as an eagle, soaring over the city of Aquila to a lush neighbourhood that was prodominantly gryphons and then, just as I flew over the main square where they would regularly meet, I let him go, or what was left of him, a warm stream of white being expelled out of my cloaca for only a second or two, before he was purged from my body. "Ahhh~ Goodbye, Gyro, that was nice."
