Meeting and a Movie

03:49 GyroTech pulls a cart in from the edges of town layden down with all maners of personal belongings. Among the most queer of these were the various tools and hardware that he brought along, including an array of sprokets and gears. He tiredly walks through town looking for a place to rest a bit and store his belongings while he attempts to find a place to live.

04:00 Trance slowly walks out to his car ready for his well deserved lunch break the idea of smoking passing through his head but he knows better and he made a promise so he slowly trots to his car thinking of what he wants to eat

04:05 GyroTech is lost deep in thought as he trots down the street, trying to figure out a solution to a particular engineering problem thats been troubleing him, despite being on his lunch break. He fails to notice the blue pony in front of him and crashes into him. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," he says apologetically.

04:09 Trance falls over to the ground a bit dazed from his surprise the whole event just sort of lost on him basically he is just a bit confused about what happened as he slowly looks up at you "yeah yeah it's alright." he says before picking himself up off the ground and turning to him the pony "so do you need something from the shop my replacment is not around....lazy bastard."

04:14 GyroTech shakes his head. "No I'm afraid I do not I was just on my way to eat. However, I do feel bad for this whole event so please, let me take you to lunch. I know a good diner on a corner one block down ."

04:20 Trance nods slowly and then a smile comes to his face as the prospect of free food was put on the table but he knows that he must protest to be polite he is not cheep money is just a bit tight so free is really nice "no it's okay."

04:25 GyroTech frowns at his response. "Cmon, I insist, let me make it up to you," he says insistantly.

04:30 Trance widens his smile and nods "well if you insist....it's probably better than bagles and coffee for lunch."

04:34 GyroTech laughs at what he believes to be a joke and says "Well, follow me then. My name is Gyro." After waiting for a response, he then leads his companion down the block to the diner.

04:40 Trance nods slowly as he follows him to the diner "mine is Trance." as he soon enters the diner

04:49 GyroTech pushes the door open and leads Trance inside. A little bell jingles as the door opens. The diner had a simple irish decor, but smelled of fresh hay fries, wonderful stews and simmering vegetiables. A grey earth pony greets the pair, "Hey Gyro, hows it going today? and who is your friend here?" Gyro resonds "Its going good Felix, this is my friend Trance." Felix then leads us to our table.

04:53 Trance plops down in the chair lazy and slowly "this place smells better than bagels and coffee."

05:00 GyroTech takes a seat on the other side of Trance and gives him a quizical look. "You really were just going to have bagels and coffee for lunch?" He slides the menu over to Trance saying, "Well I already know what I want."

05:01 Trance takes the menu and opens it "i was they are cheap and good." he says slowly scanning over the menu

05:07 GyroTech rolls his eyes. "What shop is that that you run, I've never really noticed it before."

05:10 Trance chuckles as he responds "well it's a used game and music store you should come by sometime and buy stuff." he is being very blunt with this

05:16 GyroTech laughs "Maybe I shall." The waiter returns over to our table, "May I take your order?" Gyro says, "I'll have my usual." Felix then looks over towards Trance, "And what can I get you sir?"

05:20 Trance looks at the menu and then at the waiter "i'll have something with potatoes." he says looking back to the menu and then up at him again "preferably in a stew."

03:23 GyroTech responds "Well, in that case you cant go wrong with the Carrot and Celery stew."

03:24 Trance nods slowly "that sounds good i think i'll have that."

03:27 GyroTech sends the waiter away to get our meals. "Video games eh, I suppose I play them from time to time."

03:32 Trance nods slowly "i play while im at the shopyou know the stor owner likes it when i have game knowledge."

03:37 GyroTech has a suddenlook of realization, "Oh, your not the store owner?" He thinks to himself, no wonder hes only eating bagels and coffee for lunch, but doesn't say it out loud.

04:01 Trance smiles with a loud chuckle "yeah well maybe you could take a walk around the towns i live up north you know higher up."

04:04 GyroTech nods. A that moment our food arrives. Felix sets a large veggie burger w/ hay fries in front of Gyro, and a nice bowl of soup in front of Trance. "You two enjoy," he says before he trots off. Gyro begins to eat his meal.

04:07 Trance picks up a spoon and begins sipping the broth and eating the potatoes.

04:16 GyroTech continues to eat. "Higher up?" he says inbetween bites, "You don't look like a pegusus to me, how can you walk on those clouds?"

04:17 Trance lets out a loud chuckle "naw naw i live up on the mountain side." he says before taking another bite

04:23 GyroTech gives him a curious look. "Why so far away? Surely its a lot of time spent traveling to work when there are plenty of appartments nearby."

04:26 Trance smiles at you"i like my flat up there it's cheep and nice and the ponies up there are great im really just in it for the environment you know i honestly can't live in cities." he says eating more of his delicious stew

04:29 GyroTech laughs. "I suppose the city isn't for everypony, but I love everything being within walking distance of me."

04:30 Trance nods "yeah thats what it's like up there lots of places here are like that though but more chill and cool."

04:38 GyroTech responds "I suppose you'll have to show me around then." He finishes his burger, and nibbles on his frys/

04:41 Trance chuckles and takes another spoonfull of soup "maybe i should...but no hikes i don't jike."

04:43 GyroTech frowns, "But the mountians are supposed to be pretty this time of year, and the chances of coming accross a dragon or cockatrices are fairly low."

04:44 Trance shakes his head "nope no hiking can't won't and will never never again."

04:46 GyroTech leans in. "Never again? That sounds like an interesting story."

04:48 Trance chuckles loudly and then gives you a very dead stare "me and whoever else was with me that night will not speak about what happened."

04:51 GyroTech says matter-of-factly, "I suppose I'll just have to find out the other ponies with you and interogate them. I'm sure a little bit of alcohol would loosen their tongues." He gives a mischeivious grin.

04:54 Trance stares you down a little longer "you really shouldn't it's not funny*turns his head and whispers* i wonder what happened to that dragon." returns to your gaze and shruggs

04:56 GyroTech leans in even more. "Ooh there was a dragon involved? Now I have to know."

04:58 Trance shakes his head again "sorry mate you would have to get me super drunk and even then you would have to convince me that it's a good idea to tell you."

05:08 GyroTech finishes the last of his hayfries and waves the waiter over to cover the bill. "Tis been fun hanging out with you Trance, maybe we can catch each other later after work."

05:10 Trance nods slowly and stands up "yeah i must get back to work i have maybe another hour but i need to kick scitty in the nuts the lazy bastard."

05:12 GyroTech pays the bill and stands as well. "I'm booked till 5. I work {Yet to be determined clever engineering firm name} and my appartment is that big red one down the road, number 403.

05:15 Trance nods slightly "yeah ill go back to my place get some hard cider and a few movies and we can hang out {you didn't even need to make plans he did it for you}

05:19 GyroTech exchanges information with Trance. "See you then." He waves goodbye and trots out the door towards his workplace. Unfortunatly, he never did get a chance to work out that problem that had been plagueing him in the first place.

05:20 Trance walks back to work and proceeds to binge on energy drinks and chips out of boredom (timeskip?)

02:05 GyroTech has just gotten off of work and returns home. He flips on the TV, and lounges about watching a SciFi show.

02:07 Trance soon arrives at your home knocking on the door case of cider in hoof and at least twenty movies in his bag

02:12 GyroTech slowly gets up off the couch and makes his way to the door, slightly irritated at being disturbed. He opens the door to find Trance sitting there and his look of irritation changes to one of supprise. "Oh, I didnt know I was expecting you today, come on in." The room is slightly messy but passable. It is quite appernent that a bachelor lives there.

02:15 Trance looks around the slightly dirty apartment he chuckles "you know you live the way i do." waits a moment "very very well." he says walking into the small kitchen finding the fridge and placing the case down inside it then walks out and looks at you "well what kind of movies you like?"

02:18 GyroTech tidies up a little as Trance moves about. "I'm fairly easy to please. I like most action and Sci-Fi and some dramas."

02:23 Trance looks around (is there maybe a couch or maybe some lawn chairs in front of the tv im not saying your lame or lazy or broke it's just easier to have crappy chairs sometimes)

02:38 GyroTech says "Ya, that'll do, I've not seen this movie yet." He walks up to his TV and throws it into the blu-ray player and fidles with the menus till it appears on the xcreen.

02:42 Trance slowly gets comfy in the couch as the opening of the movie starts he looks over at you "so you ready for an awesome movie?"

02:46 GyroTech flops on the couch next to him and gets comfy as well. "Yep. Oh, what was the box you brought in?"

02:47 Trance chuckles to himself "it's just some hard cider something to lift the mood." he says watching the movie as the mane pony begins speaking

02:50 GyroTech smiles. "Is it Apple Family Cider or some other brand?" he askes before turning his attentions to the movie.

02:52 Trance nods slowly focused on the movie "yeah big macs hard cider." (come here #solrp_cafe )

02:57 GyroTech watches the movie intently.

02:58 Trance five minutes pass and he decides to stand up and walk to the kitchen and to the fridge he then calls "hey you want one?"

02:59 GyroTech calls from the couch, "Yes please. I've got frosted Cider mugs in the freezer."

03:05 Trance grabs to bottles and snaps the bottle caps off on the counter the caps falling to the floor he turns around (does it have a freezer on top or the both of them side by side? just a random question) and opens the freezer pulling out two mugs then setting them down on the counter in front of the bottles then picks them up and pours both of the bottles contence into the mugs. in a swift motion he grabs the mugs in one hoof then slowly trots on the couch and hands him the mug "it's good i swear."

03:16 GyroTech grins up at him. "I know it is, one of my favorite commercial brands." He levitates the mug from Trance and takes a sip.

03:17 Trance takes a glug from his and leans back into the couch as begins to re focus on the movie

03:19 GyroTech 's stomach grumbles. "Do you want some popcorn?" he askes as he stands up and makes his way to the kitchen.

03:30 Trance shrugs lightly as he turns and watches you walk into the kitchen "sure why not."

03:34 GyroTech grabs a pair of popcorn bags and pops them, one at a time, in the microwave.

03:38 Trance sits and watches the movie intently as the really actiony bits start signifying the end approuching

03:46 GyroTech brings the popcorn back, one of them in a bowl for his earth pony companions convienence, and a bag for himself. He plops down on the couch and passes the bowl to his friend. He telekinetically pulls popcorn out of his own bag to eat.

03:47 Trance places the bowl on his lap and shoves his face down in it eating the popcorn

03:49 GyroTech turns his attention to the movie eating his popcorn slowly.
