Chance Encounter at a Cafe

22:00 Lightning_Hunt was about. It was a quiet afternoon in Canterlot, a young stallion sat in a café just doodling gryphons on a napkin as he sat with a bagel and a cup of warm coffee. he wasn't aware that the drawings would be seen, he sat alone in the corner of the café but still somepony would notice eventually.

The grey and white gryphon, beeps quietly to himself as he sips on the drink, swaying his tail back and forth. His eyes drift over to the stallions doodles, where he snorts and shakes his head. Seems the little pony liked them as much as he did.

22:09 Lightning_Hunt looked up and blushed as he caught the gryphon peeking at his sketches. he slowly moved his hoof over the napkin and hid it.

He flipped the napkin over and looked at the gryphon for a moment and drew that gryphon a happy little portrait. He got up and gave the napkin to him and sat back down without a word, his only hopes was to make a stranger smile.

22:19 Ruzzyfinch chuckles at the stalliona s the napkin is set before him and smiles at it. He dips a talon in his coffee and adds two brown dots where the orange on his face is present. He then lifts the modifided napkin up to show to Lightning.

22:20 Lightning_Hunt chuckled softly as well.. feeling he made a friend but.. wasn't sure.. he hoped the gryphon would sit with him in his booth and maybe strike up a conversation.

22:27 Ruzzyfinch considers him for a second after the laugh,a nd then finally gets up, making his way over to the table and standing before it. He places a talon on one of the chairs and looks at hunt. "Is this seat taken?"

22:28 Lightning_Hunt shook his head. *"Please, its yours if you wish, sir."* He smiled a he got another napkin and began doodling again. *"I hope I wasn't a bother as well.."*

22:35 Ruzzyfinch sits down in front of lightning, and sets his coffee down. "Nah, no problem at all. I've got nothing important to do today. "

22:37 Lightning_Hunt smiles. *"Whats your name, sir?"* he asked kindly.

22:38 Ruzzyfinch holds his talon out as if to shake. "My name is Ruzeth!"

22:39 Lightning_Hunt shakes his talons. *"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Ruzeth, my name's Lightning Hunt."* he said with a soft smile. *"So, are you from Canterlot?"*

22:41 Ruzzyfinch grins at the stalliona nd shakes his head emphatically. "Canterlot? No, no I'm from all the way across the sea, native of Zebrica." If lightning knew his geography, he'd know that there arent really all that many gryphons who actually live there vs just passing through.

22:42 Lightning_Hunt nods. "Far lands.. so what brings you to the city?"* He smiled. *"Fresh air? new adventures? good food?" He adds, "You look like you enjoy food, anything you find you like here?"

22:49 Ruzzyfinch nods his head emphatically. "Far lands indeed, though I've lived here for a couple years now, growing my craft. You see, I'm a shaman, and my vision quest drove me hear... As far as food, I dont know...tastes are so different like this...I'm likeing things I've not liked before."

19:14 Ruzzyfinch looks down in silence and retreats to the mug of coffee that'd directly infront of him. He takes a long sip, remaining quiet now, letting the coffee feel over his tongue. This pony really was strange, and he wasnt sure what to make of him.

19:19 Lightning_Hunt sighed softly. Taking a long sip of his own coffee. Taking a moment to think before speaking. *"I hope I didn't make this encounter awkward, and all honesty, my offer stands, I would be happy if I could make a friend."* he smiled shyly before writing on a napkin and sliding it to him, it read: **"I would not ask you to hold me in your crop, you may swallow me down, and digest me, I have no problem with that, so long as you do one small thing afterwards to ensure I am brought back."**

19:25 Ruzzyfinch leans back in his chair now and finsihes off the rest of his mug of coffe, setting it down on the table. As that peice of paper is slid on over ot him, he lifts it up and reads the writing upon it. The gryphon an eyebrow once again as if to ask more, still unsure of what to say in this situation.

19:29 Lightning_Hunt shifts. "Its up to you."* he said with a bold smile. *"Look.. I'm not very brave.. but.. I wanna have fun.. He soon trotted out the door and off to his apartment. He spent about an hour cleaning up the place and just sat down, waiting for the knock at the door.

20:09 Ruzzyfinch shrugs his shoulders at the question. He wasnt really going to promise of course. Who knew what the plan was, and what if he didnt like it. "Oh? well then, why dont you go ahead and show so we can get this going and all."

20:11 Lightning_Hunt trotted to his room and pulled a box from in the bed. *"Come in here!"* he called out. As he began digging through the box of toys and magic potions.
