12:27 < Gyro Feather> :P

12:28 < Stripes the shark> sooo, wanna be snek food or take a rather lethal swim?

12:29 Gyro Feather was having a grand olde time at the beach, splashing around in the water and swimming trhought he depths. He had a nifty new gadget held in his beak that allowed him to breath water, latest in unicorn technology. His tail drifts idly behind him in the water as he swims along, looking perhaps for a little fish to grab for lunch.

12:35 Stripes the shark while generally linking splashing noises with easy prey, the obnoxious noise of the tourist beach was already stapled to his mind as a place where he would not go if he could help it. However, when one of the noisy critters separated from the group and stopped chopping up the surface and began ineptly paddling under water instead, his instincts told him that lunch might be served. As the adult lemon shark approached Gyro's position, the latter was able to gaze upon a colourful buffet of variously sized fish frolicking around their coral homes.

12:38 Gyro Feather paddles throught he water down towards teh coral with a grin upon his beak. Oh look at all the various fish that roamed around there. He gets closer and closer to teh coral till he scares a couple fish down into a crevice. Thats not enough to stop him though, as he darts a claw in htere, reaching for the fish, before finally grasping upon the entrapped creature. All the while he's not paying much attention to his surroundings while his tail lashes in the air;

12:39 < Gyro Feather> (err water)

12:44 Stripes the shark arrived at the spot where the unusual creature was found sticking an appendage into a crevice to grab at hidden fish. The shark used his vastly superior visual range under water in order to study his probable prey from afar. He had never eaten one of those wiged creatures, though he had seen a few of those. Some even tended to prey upon the young of his species when they dwelled on shallow water or too close to the surface. He would not want to pass up an opportunity like this to retaliate in a rather nutritious fashion. Slowly he closed in from behind while his prey was busy stuffing his beak with fish. Meanwhile some unlucky parrot fish was struggling for its life in the grasp of the griff's talons, only able to stare as it was lifted up towards the gulet down which it was to be sent.

12:47 Gyro Feather cant tell one motion in the water from another as he fishes for his prey, and so has no real idea of what exactly had decided that he might be an interesting target to go after. Finally though he snags the fish and pushes the beaked fish into his own beak, gulping it down with haste. He then replaces the water breathing device and pulls himself back from the crevice. His eyes scan the water now once more, looking perhaps for another thing to gulp.

12:50 Stripes the shark kept stalking his prey from a distance, wanting to strike once another moment of distraction caused the griff to be defenseless. Luckily for him, there was a bounty of sea life to catch the attention of the seemingly hungry bird. There were craps brawling over a small crack in a rock, valuable real estate for the crustaceans, a moray held its open maw out of a cave as it waited for a meal to show up and swarms of needle fish were hanging in the current over a coral garden. Meanwhile the shark closed the distance some more, careful not to be spotted.

12:55 Gyro Feather grins as he sees a rather mean and nasty looking eel. He loved the taste of eel...though admittedly he'd never had one raw. He grabs it in his talons and begins to wrestle with it, steadily pulling it outside of hits hole while managing to keep the maw from being able to snap upon his body. THe little bird seemed to be having difficulty extracting his prey from the hole however, while his focus was entirely on the fish.

12:59 Stripes the shark recognized his chance and struck. With a few quick strokes of his powerful tail, the shark accellerated to attack speed and slammed into the griffon, or his exposed tail rather. The aquatic predator sunk his teeth into the furry tail which contrary to his belief had nothing to do with the bird's propulsion and instead simply parted from the prey's body. Disappointedly Striped snapped up the tiny entré and turned on a dime to quickly sink his pointy teeth into the Gyro's exposed haunches instead, endeavouring to devour the whole beast ass first.

13:02 < Gyro Feather> (Remember, not tooooo hard, gyro should still be alive in the belly~)

13:03 < Stripes the shark> (just the tail and a few bities he has had worse)

13:03 < Gyro Feather> (cool, just preemptive is all ^^

13:04 < Stripes the shark> (first time hearing of a preemptive prey)

13:06 Gyro Feather lets out a flurry of bubbles in an attempted squeal as he feels his tail parted from his body, leaving a bloody stump which bleeds a steady stream of blood into the water. He releases the eel in his panic, which none to happy with him, sinks its own teeth into his forearm. The gryphon panics from the mixture of white hot pain and begins to kick up towards his sufrace before another thump against his body happens. He feels the bladed teeth sink beneath his skin once more upon his rump and turns his head back. A damn shark. Readying a fist he attempts to pop it on the nose as he'd been taught.

13:10 Stripes the shark damped by the water his fist neatly bumps agaist the snout of the shark, not even causing as much as a dent in the thick skin covered by tiny little teeth. Stripes's snout was meant to withstand him crashing into prey at thirty miles or digging up a meal from a jagged coral block. A little thump would not cause him to let go of a meal. Instead his nictitating membranes closed over his eyes a clear sign of what was to come next. Again his jaws gaped and he inhaled loads of water along with another bit of bird as reddened water was expelled from his flaring gills. Quite happy with the exotic taste of his meal, the shark rapidly repeated the action, soon sending the griff's hind quarters down his gullet in the worm of a healthy, wiggling bulge.

13:17 Gyro Feather gives another growl that sounds muffled in the water and brings his claws forward to rake upont eh skin instead, tyring to force the shark to let him go. His hind legs find themselves foldded to his belly while the powerful throat clenches and tugts at his furred rump. The bird's wings flare and he begins to pump them frantically throught he water, desptie the painful pulling of the teeth that had sunk into his body. He had to escape and quiclky, before he became a meal. The eel had ginally grown wise by now at least, and fled off, not wanting to deal with teh shark.

13:22 Stripes the shark Said shark was again protected by his rough skin, his skin teeth and the griff's claws engaging in a war of attrition which ended in the dulling of the bird's armament shortly after causing a small set of white streaks on the otherwise brownish shark skin. This would take a day or two to heal up but as the bird, who has in the meantime been devoured up to the root of his flappy wings, would soon find up it would take quite a bit more to recover from being digested. Now the pointy shark teeth idly gnawed at the wing joins as those nasty things prevented him from finishing his meal. Unfortunately he posessed neither strength nor dentistry of a tiger shark, so cutting his prey in two was no option. That thing needed to go into his belly before he suffocated on it.

13:31 Gyro Feather feels himself bleeding profuslely from all teh gashes along his body while his chest is brought in to the cool mouth of the shark. Down below he could feel the nature of the water he was in changing as it grew slimeier and more foul as he presses down teh massive throat of the shark. At least, it seemed, the creature was unablet o get past is wings, so perhaps he'd be able to escape afteall. Flaps of his wings steadily draw the pair up towards teh surface, though the effort left his muscles burning. All the while he scrapes at the shark with his dull talons, desperate to get free from what was sure to be his doom.

13:34 Stripes the shark grew tired with his resistant prey and since he was already biting down on him, he started to throw his head around violently. While it did not mke his pointy teeth any more capable of cutting it certainly did a number on the wing joints which quickly creaked and cracked, not ment to withstand the force resulting from being thrown around in the water. With the wings folding up towards the prey's beak and the growing cloud of blood being sucked in along with a few centimetres of bird, the feast continued.

13:43 Gyro Feather catches a plume of water from teh thrashing, especially with those teeth already biting down into his tendons. The gryphon lets out another yowl of pain and seems to go limp as his wings fold forawrd. He's overwelmed with the painful sensations running over his body that his mind freezes in panic, even as adreniline rushes through his body, causing his heart to thump very audibly o the shark. He can feel it creeping up further upon his body, but there's nothing he can do it seems..

13:47 Stripes the shark feels his prey going limp for a second, using this window of opportunity to place nother pair of heavy gulps. By now the thumping chest of the griff was being pressed aganst his palate, his face and wing tips and claws the only things reaching out of the greedy shark maw, which was about to add those bits to the already impressive bulge which crept down the aquatic top predator's gullet. The sensibly wounded tail stump of the bird was by that point the first thing to enter the huge fish's stomach properly, being greeted with a fresh coating of stomach juices which lost no time to send surges of pain through the prey as it was beginning to digest alive.

13:57 Gyro Feather hooks his arms on the edge of the mouth as his chest is drawn into the powerful maw, trying to pullh imself out even as the throat muscles squeeze and roll over his form, dragging him eve deeper inside. The gryphon's form bulged out the sides of the shark a fair amount, and hsi moving struggles could be seen outside of the cartiligous flesh. He hits a stop for a second, which then gives, allowing his rump to push inside. WHile the furred flesh is not overwhemed in pain yet, all the open cuts and sores are instantly swarmed with the sensation, bringing another swarm of bubbles out of the gryphon's jaw as he's pulled inward.

14:02 Stripes the shark snaps his jaws shut over his descending meal and completes his feeding with a loud gulp, listenting to thw squelching of his gullet as it transported the living flesh off to his ever expanding stomach which in turn happily changed its shape for the tasty bird. The latter now found himself curled up and being churned upon in a tight, slightly warmer chamber which was slowly filling with an acrid soup which would over time increasingly consist of his molten body. Meanwhile the shark headed off towards his favourite relaxation spot

14:06 Gyro Feather watches, eyes wide in fear as the jaws begin to frame his vision. He could truly see the sharp teeth of the creature as he loos out, and as his beak enters the throat, so do his talons. When the shark finally closes his mouth, he squeals as it beings down on the tips of his wings, pulling free a couple bright blue feathers. As more of his boyd pushes in, the muscles clench around his form, forcing him into a loose ball in the stomach. Already the stinging is growing worse around him with all the cuts that had appeared on his body, drawing a new round of thrashing from the poor creature.

14:10 Stripes the shark felt an annoying tickle in his maw and upon gulping some water, a set of bright feathers comes flying out of his gills. With the last bit of stoic resistance discarded like that, the shark resumes his hunt for a cozy spot to park his bulging gut. On the less comforting side of the engagement however, the griffon was being assaulted from all sides as the churning stomach walls forced the acrid liquids into his wounds while the stomach itself created ever more of these which quickly soaked his feathers and fur alike, starting to soften his skin.

14:18 Gyro Feather was in a world of pain that only grows worse as the rest of him slides inside, exposing all the myriads of cuts to the powerful acids inside. And worse still, he can still breathe, something the gryphon could fix if he spat out the device, but he intedned to cling to life as long as possible. As he thrashes, fur and feather alike begin to slough off from his scarred skin while deep pitting occurse upon the open cuts, expanding and allowing it to get down to his muscles beneath.

14:22 Stripes the shark Additional strain is forced upon the unlucky griffon as the shark sinks down and places his swolled belly on a large patch of sand where he decided to sleep off his meal. At least sleep was going to occur at soe point once the struggling stopped. On the inside the bird was being skinned alive as the stomach walls churned and dragged over his pitifully curled up form as the acids burned his living flesh away, causing the once tiny bite marks to expand into hideous cavities, especially around the points like his shoulders where the shark's jaws had to battle for every inch.

14:29 Gyro Feather devolves into a whimpering mess as he feels himself losing more an dmore of his body to teh steadily thickening chyme around him. The pain though, which had been massive before, was now steadily lessening as even his nerves begin to burn away underneath his skin. His belly muscles are getting weaker too, until finaly there's a rip as he's torn across teh stomach bey the contractions. His intestins spill out, exposing his internal organs to the rest of the powerful juices. The brid certainly did not have long now.

14:33 Stripes the shark already felt some of the nutritious sludge he was turning the griffon into energizing his body as his stomach was not starting to dissolve that of the griffon. There were a few nervous spasms caused by electric impulses resulting from the chemical reactions between acids and prey nerves, but other than that, the shark was about feeling ready to sleep.

14:38 Gyro Feather gives one final set of thrashes as his stomach spills out and the acids rush up to his heart and lungs, but as soon as those are eaten though, he finally goes still save for the occasional twitch.

14:40 < Stripes the shark> (want to see what remains of you?)

14:40 < Gyro Feather> (I do enjoy disposal :P)

14:45 Stripes the shark Over the next three days the shark did not move too much, happily sleeping and digesting his colossal meal. The only times he moved around was when the shrinking of his stomach made him sink into the holes which his formerly bloated belly had dug for itself, bending his tail upwards in an uncomfortable way. It was not before day four that the typical poking sensation in his stomach told him that only a few hard and indigestible items remained of his food. Again his jaws gaped, this time to allow him to turn his stomach inside out, the far wall of his digestive organ even leaving his maw and pressing out a tightly packed pellet of bile coated feathers and some shrapnels of bones. After the aquatic predator shook his head and protruding gut, the griff's former skull fell down int the pile of bleached feathers and the shark gulped his stomach back down before returning to sleep. After all that fat little bird had put some pudge on him so he could allow himself to be lazy for a few weeks.

14:48 < Stripes the shark> (see, sharks also do pellets if fed correctly)

14:48 < Gyro Feather> hehe

14:48 < Gyro Feather> that was fun <3

14:49 < Stripes the shark> yes it was. such a tasty burb. would like to meet your more predatory griff one day.
