23:43 Apolar had seen the scene. Claw marks and a scattered bag of belongings were all that remained from the bear's brother. If not obvious from the feathers and talon prints on the ground, the bear could easily figure out who was behind the disappearance. After all, he only knew of one creature that could take on a polar bear like that, and the gryphon wasn't a new menace to the village. People vanishing was commonplace, but no one had the courage to take on the beast on. Taking his brother, however, was too much, he had to do something about it. The bear bough a simple leather armor and a small dagger, everything he could afford, and headed for the infamous mountain where the bird lived. The exact location, however, was unknown, so the bear walked carefully, searching for the gryphon's den.
23:55 Serilde rather hadn't even finished sleeping off the large polar bear she'd taken recently, and her belly showed that quite well. While many of the larger lumps had largely shrunken down to become more or less even with the rest of her belly, it still was rather large and swollen while her stomach continued to work on her meal.
The traveling bird had been hunting in this region for several moons now, taking the killings while they were good and the air was warm before the great freeze came about to drag her south for winter. The great bird's cave was situated rather far up in the mountains where the biting wind whipped the trees about, though it was easy enough to find by the occasional feather that had been shed in flight. At the present moment the great big creature dosed on a linens she'd pilfered from a merchant. At the entrance to her cave sat a loose pile of white balls, masses of fur that surrounded bones of long eaten bears that stared out at any would be intruders.
00:15 Apolar climbed for the better part of the day. The mountain got ever more steeper, and the cold wind was increasingly harsher. Luckily for the polar bear, cold wasn’t an issue, and his heavy frame made sure even the strongest winds wouldn’t send him crashing down the mountain. Finally, the gryphon started giving out some clues of his existence. First came the feathers, and then the bird smell. Everything directed him to a large opening in the mountain.
The bear approached slowly without making a sound. He leaned against the wall and poked his head out to look inside. A mass of white pellets mixed with bone were enough to send shivers down his spine. Friends, villagers and maybe even his brother were in there somewhere. He looked deeper inside the cave and had the first glimpse of the gryphon. The beast slept soundly with a stout gut. She was still sleeping of his brother… The bear got a hold of himself and started to approach. Killing her while asleep was his best bet. He walked in her direction with dagger in hand, ready to get his revenge.
00:26 Serilde merely dozed as the cat part of her never truly fully slept. Her tail flicked back and forth against the cool stone that made up the floor beyond that of her quilt. A change in the light as the polar bear enters, blocking much of the entrance is all she needs to lazily creep an eye open, only to see that there is indeed something standing in her doorway. Maybe it will go away on its own though.
And yet...it continues to creep forward, drawing her further and further out of her slumber as she focusses on his movements. The gryphon tenses her body now, preparing to spring from where she lay should he get close enough to make himeslef truly a threat now.
00:40 Apolar stops, he wasn’t sure if he saw the eyelids twitch. He was ready to pounce if the gryphon moved a muscle, but apparently she was still sleeping. He waits, even after he was sure it was sleeping, before stepping forward. A few more steps and he would be in range to stab the beast.
As he takes the last few steps, he looks at the churning gut and rage fills the bear. His brother was still there somewhere, unwillingly helping fatten up the bird… The bear he grew up with was soon to be just a pellet of fur and bones to decorate the entrance to the cave.
00:52 Serilde decide's hes come close enough to leap upon and then in one swift motion forces her fores and hinds into the ground, propelling her body forward until her bulk slams into that of the bears. She was far more massive than him, even without the aded weight padding her middle, though the extra bulke make all of her movements rather awkward. The gryphon lets out a loud roar, throwing globs of spit on top of the intruder. Her wings flare, showing off her impressive span as she propells herself, ending with her sharp claws grapsing down into the flesh past his fur. "What are you doing in my cave?" The formel bellows.
01:08 Apolar not only was the bear thrown of his feet against a wall, the impact was strong enough to knock the air out of him. His knife flew away from his paw, and before he could even look at where it was, the gryphon already had him pinned down. The bird of prey talons were sharper even than his own claws, and having them against his skin made shivers go down his spine. The large bird was quite impressive, dwarfing even the largest of the bears. No wonder how she managed to eat some many of his kind. The bear reaches for the talon, trying to pry them away from his flesh with his paws. Was there even a way out of this? He’d have to jump at the first opportunity to flee, revenge wasn’t an option anymore. “Don’t you see the resemblance? You ate my brother, and tortured my village for months now! I can’t let you do that to us anymore!”
01:23 Serilde digs her talons in, drawing a pin prick of blood that stained the otherwise white fur. The gryphon gives a little shrug of her shoulders and nods her head. "Of course I can, all you silly creatures look the same going in, and coming out too, and taste just as good," she posits with a snort. "And now, with you caught beneath me, how exactly are you going to do that? Face it, your nothing more than a meal now." THe gryphon licks her beak and then tightens her body, clenching down as he tries to pull her claws from the thick fur. "I may have eaten one of your kind recently, but I'm sure I can always find more room for you~" Her hot breath wafts over his snout, smelling unmistakably like his brother, though the stale meaty odors that join it distort the smell and leave them wrong.
01:36 Apolar groans in pain as the sharp talon easily digs into his skin, leaving a small red spot on his fur. He snarls while the gryphon speaks. “We’re not food for oversized birds! How dare you do that to us!” He growls out. His attempts to remove the claw only made the bird tighten its grip, and the bear feared that he’d either end up crushed or sliced.
The bear looks up at the bird in disbelief. Her gut was still full with his brother, the last thing he wanted was to spend his last moments surrounded by his brother’s remains. The gryphon, on the other hand, seemed keen on giving him a demonstration of what that would be like, and lets out a meaty breath in the bear’s face. To a creature with a sensitive nose, that was torture. He could clearly smell his brother in the middle of all the digested meat. There was no doubt left, he was indeed in there, being churned into paste. The bear’s courage vanishes. “Not with my brother in there… Please, not while he’s still in there… I don’t want to see him like that.” He says, anger transformed into sadness and desperation.
01:45 Serilde breakes into a loud fit of laughter; a deep hearty rumble that seemed to resonate with the cave that surrounded the two fo them. "Are you making demands of me, while I"ve got you like this, and after you came it to try and murder me? No I think its only fitting for you to join your brother who tried to knock me out of the air with his weapons. And if Only I had some light, I'd swallow that down with you too so you can truly see."
The gryphon grinds her belly down against his thick fur, making sure to cause the shifting bulges to squish and squelch against her prey's from, making him feel from the outside what his fate would soon be. "You are food to me and nothing more, and soon you'll join those many lumps at the front. It'll be somewhat powetic, I must admit, for you to share the same bulge as your kin."
02:03 Apolar wasn’t even sure how to react anymore. The bird was mocking him, and he couldn’t forgive it for killing his brother in such a gruesome way, but at the same time, he was scared for his life. The bear feels the stomach press against him. He can hear the sickening gurgles from within, and, worst of all, feel the solid pieces of bone still inside. The bear presses his paws against the stomach, he wanted it to go away.
He finally resorts to using his claws against it, slashing against the skin underneath the feathers. “Poetic? You’re sick! There is nothing poetic about killing people! My brother wouldn’t want to hurt you if you weren’t killing our people!” The bear was too scared to think clearly, but he wasn’t going to give up on talking his way out just yet. “We will kill you eventually if you don’t stop this. Let me go and leave our village, no one will go after you, we only want peace.” He says, trying his best to sound confident in his words. After looking at the bird from up close, he was sure no one would be able to take him on, but if the bird believed him, maybe he had a chance.
02:18 Serilde calls out in pain as she feels the sharp claws sliding across her chest and drawing blood unerneath the thick layer of feathers. Her eyes narrow as she glares down at him while her claws release for just a moment, long enough to slide her claws out to instead grasp those sharp paws to his sides. "You will pay for that. I think instead I'll be sure to stay till I've eaten every last one of you and replaced with balls of fur," she growls.
Her head finally darts down, with her beak open wide, sliding around the muzzle of the bear she seeks to devour. The pink flesh underneath the hard layer can be seen for a few moments, glinting from the layer of saliva that coated it. A strand of such breaks across Apolar's snout, which then soon finds itself well coated in hot drool that matts down the thick polar bear fur, carrying with it the scents of those who had gone before. Serilde wastes no time pushing forward until the black nose presses against her gullet before the first loud gulp of what would be many reaches forward to drag the first bits of him into the muscular tube beyond.
02:32 Apolar tried to use the opportunity to flee, but his paws were quickly restrained. He looked up at the bird, whose cold demeanour was substituted by some anger. The bear was glad the slashing inflicted some damage, but was quick to regret it. Before he could protest, the beak opened wide and engulfed his head. His face was quickly covered in foul smelling drown, and his half digested brother filled his nostrils. The bear tried opening the beak with his paws, but they were still held by the gryphon.
02:32 < Apolar> “Please stop! Don’t eat me, I’ll do whatever you want!” Is the only thing that manages to come out of his mouth before the tongue presses against him, sending him further down in a sudden motion, and sealing his mouth shut. The bear was not done struggling, and he kicks his legs around, and wiggles his arms in the bird’s grasp. If only he had a free paw, maybe he might be able to use his claws to make the bird spit him out…
02:41 Serilde certainly had no intention of giving him that opportunity though and takes another gulp, daring her head forward as she does so and managing to cause the rest of his head to slip into the glove tight tube that was her gullet, leaving an unmistakable bulge beneath her neck feathers and casting the bear into darkness. Now surrounded by her, every noise her body made was amplified in his ears, from the pounding of her heart, to her steady breathing, loud gulps as she worked him down, and most frightenly the growling squelches her body made as it worked over the nutrients that had already been provided. She was mercilous in her persuits, drawing the neck between her beak and then the shoulders, forcking his head to make a tight uncomfortable turn while she ensures that he's locked in place, excactly where she wants him.
02:49 Apolar could only blow air from his nostrils, and hardly that. The throat was tight, and the steep turn made sure there was not a moment of peace for the bear. He kept struggling to the best of his ability. At this point, he knew only a miracle would save him, but he wasn’t going to give up. He kicks his legs around and shakes his body.
The noises inside the body were sickening. The heart and lungs were familiar, even soothing noises, but the low rumbling of the stomach together with the intestines seeping in the bear’s brother were more than the once proud creature could take. His eyes flooded with tears with the realisation of what his brother had been through and with the fact that he’d soon have the same fate.
02:59 Serilde eases her body back once the shoulders of the bear pass into her gullet, aiding in locking them to his sides. THis motion pulled the bear now up into more of C and eliminated the tight curve he'd have to make in her gullet. The formel still keeps a heavy claw upon his paws though, not wanting to let them go until they were firmly planted in her beak. Each swallow brings more fo the bear inside, causing the bulge in her throat to grow, until as draws teh edge of his chest into her gullet, his head briefly pushes into the crop before then pressing out the other end, into the sphincter that separated the stomach from the rest of her gullet. The acrid vile scent of her bile fills this chamber and soon enougha s he begins to press in, he too pushes into the half digested flesh of what used to be someone rather close to him, rendered nothing more than a digesting husk.
03:08 Apolar was proficiently dragged down by the gryphon. She was quite used to eating his kind, and the current meal was no different. He struggled, but every swallow made moving harder, and she didn’t let him have any room to claw at her. The bear’s head entered a wider spot, he assumed it was her crop, but he went straight through and started to push against the stomach’s entrance. The smell on the mouth was like a field of roses compared to the acidic scent of half digested meat in the stomach.
With his arms pinned down, and his head entering the stomach, the bear’s hopes were extinguished. There was no way out anymore, he’d soon join his brother and end up in a joint pellet of fur with him on the cave’s entrance. He closed his eyes as his head forced its way into his final resting place. The smell of his digested brother was already burned into his mind. He was only thankful there was no light to show him what was left.
03:21 Serilde finally releaes the paws as they push into her maw to be locked to their sides by the flesh that constricted him tigheter than if he'd been bound in ropes. She delieratly turns the paws inwards so that the sharp points press intot he polar bear's sides rather than outwards at her as protection from their wrath going down. She'd learned that painful lesson the frist time she'd had one of his kind and had no intention of repeating it.
As Apolar pushes deeper into the thick slime, he'd find that it was a fight to keep above the liquid with his body pouring in. His fur scrapes up agains the bare form which was entirely stripped of fur, and even meet in some places. The arms and legs of his brother especially were left as nothing but bone and claw, broken free and pushed around the chamber to scratch up any of the remaining flesh. The slime inside was thick and oily, seeming to cling to his fur worse than the spit had, and it left in its wake an uncomfortable tingle upon his flesh.
03:33 Apolar his arms were completely stuck, the only thing he could do now was kick his legs about. Meanwhile, his upper body entered the stomach. He was finally able to open his mouth, and instantly groaned in disgust. As his body was shoved further inside, his head scrapped against something, and it he didn’t take long to realise it was his brother. His head was shoved down into the thick pool of juices below, but as more of his body entered the chamber, he slid sideways and out of it. The bear was felt his body rub against his brother’s body. There was no fur left on his chest and he could feel bones pocking him. His brother was long dead, only the meaty husk remained to be worked by the gryphon’s body.
The bear breathed quickly in panic. He was soon going to end up just like his brother, and the acids didn’t let him forget that with the constant tingling on his skin. “Gryphon, oh gods… Gryphon anything but this! Kill me some other way! I can’t die like this!” He screams out. The bear resigned to his fate, he only wanted a quick death now, but if it was left to the stomach, he’d still have a painful ride ahead of him.
03:45 Serilde gives a quick shake of her head as she hears the desperate pleading of the polar bear deep within her. With only his hind legs sticking out of her beak, she couldnt well kill him off easily anyways. Instead she just darts her head forward over the last couple feet before snapping her beak shut around his toes, locking the polar bear inside of her body. THen after giving the toes a quick look she sends those down her gullet, encasing him entirely.
Serilde settles onto her side, groaning out now as she feels her belly streching wider that it has in a long while, almsot painfully so, as the prey filters into her belly, but she wasnt going to let him get the best of her. "If anything, I ought ot keep refreshing the air in my belly, like I did with your brother after you attacked me like you did," she growls, running a talon over the boulges made in her gut. In truth, the gryphon was far to sleepy to actually toy with him this time, but he didnt need to know that.
Her belly needed absolutly no warm up time, as it had lareyd been hard at work upon his brother, so the flesh continues its dutiful mission, rolling over Apolar's body and squishing him against the sludge of the other. This acually helped to break the other up faster too, pulverizing the remaining flesh against the new bear's added bulk.
03:55 Apolar he was dutifully swallowed until the beak closed around his feet. One more gulp did the job, and the bear slid down the throat. His body pressed against his brother, destroying whatever resemblance to a bear it still had. The former bear was now a mess of strands of meat and bones, floating around the sludge on the bottom of the gut. The bear almost threw up with the disgusting feeling of his brother’s ruined flesh pressed against him and the noises the frail bones made as they snapped. Once completely inside, the bear moved around to find a comfortable position. There wasn’t any, but he being able to breathe was enough at this point. The sludge inside covered most of his body, coming up to his chest.
Everything shook around as the gryphon laid down, and the bear had to reposition himself. His body was completely covered in the other bear’s remains, a disgusting mix of mushy remains of bear. Bones poked around his body, including a hard and round one, which he assumed was the skull. As everything settled around him, the bear finally had room to struggle. First, he slashed at the walls, but they were obviously used to such punishment, and he didn’t make a scratch. Next he tried making himself bigger to cause discomfort, but the tight walls overpowered him every time. He resorted to pushing the walls and flailing mindlessly.
“It burns! Oh gods… Gryphon don’t let me die like this! No one deserves this, it’s too much.” He manages to spit out among the waves of meaty soup churning against him.
03:58 < Serilde> (I hate to do this but tis 4 am. I'm probably gonna write a post that gives you one more post and then wrap up the scene
03:59 < Apolar> (No problem.
04:10 Serilde lets otu a loud belch, causing the stomach to constrict tightly around her prey and purging much of the breathable air, at least for the moment, but true enough to her word, teh gryphon soon begins to gulp, working more fresh air down into the stomach, though by the time it reaches there, teh queality of it is surely tainted, but at least refreshed. The stomach expands once more, allowing Apolar to remove his head from teh goop.
Serilde closes her eyes and steadily begins to fall asleep. her heartbeat slows as does her breathing as sh edrifts off into a semisleep once again. Here she was ignorant of his pleas, but mercifully at least, there would be no one to make sure once this last load of air ran out there'd be replacements. In the mean time, however, teh bear was forced to face the full horrors of her gut as it worked mercilously to process the creature into a load of nutrients. THe acids and enzymes attacked teh most sensitive areas first, causing his crotch and tailhole to feel like its on fire, as well as his inner ear where the liquids leaked in. The rest of his body was steadily losing fur and changing from a tingling to a burn as he shed fur. The rolllig of the muscles clenching around him causes squelches as liquids rush past tight crevices and also tie him up with the newly revealed entrails of the other bear. All this the bear would be subjected to until he finally ran out of oxygen to sustain him.
04:15 < Serilde> (Bah I cant keep awake. I'm gonna pass out now. But if you write your last post, I'll be sure to note you a closer in the morning. Sorry abotu this again >.<
04:16 < Serilde> (its been fun, and I stayed up way to late for ya~
04:16 < Apolar> (It's fine! Go get your rest, and sleep well~ I had lots of fun
04:19 Apolar the bear had the stomach suddenly constrict, which made him swallow a mouthful of the liquids around. It burned on the way down, but the worst part was knowing what was in it. He’d throw up, but the lack of air was his main problem now. He flailed like a fish out of water before the supply was renewed. It smelled awful, but it was much better than the stale air he had inside beforehand. He coughed and gagged as the liquid he swallowed settled in his stomach.
Tired from struggling, the bear accepted his fate. He cried softly as the acids started to break him down. His fur came off, his eyes were being ruined, his snout was barely able to smell anything anymore, and his crotch burned. “Stop, it… I don’t want air… Let me go…” He mumbles out, not even able to scream anymore.
Luckily, the gryphon fell asleep, leaving his oxygen to deplete, and him to asphyxiate. The bear soon fainted, and was left to limply digest among the rest of the contents of the stomach. His brother was mostly mush at this point, only strands of fur and a few bones survived the acidic onslaught. Apolar, however, was still mostly solid for now.
23:28 < Apolar> (Hey gryph. Did you rest well?)
23:30 Serilde sleeps soundly for the rest of the evening, and then dozes in and out of rest for the next couple days while her belly works on the large monster of a meal. The bulges steadily soften as the meat inside dissolves, while cracks can be heard as the powerful muscles squeeze upon the bones, shattering them and conpacting her belly further. The whole mess rounds out entirely and steadily absorbs into her once massive belly.
Finally the gryphon feels a bit of a rumble in her belly as she finally becomes more active several days later. Her stomach had shrunk down to about the same size it'd been before, save for the new layer of fat that adorned her belly and rump. As she waddles up to the front of her cave, she feels a pressure in her crop which she focuses her attention on. Steadily the large bulge makes its way up from her chest into her throat, and then begins to peak out the back of her beak. A white furry ball can be seen from the back of her throat, showded in shadow. Soon enough though int finally begins to force her beak wider, pushing free from the maw. Finally the mass falls down with a heavy splat amongst the rest of the pellets, indistinguishable save for being nearly double the mass of the others. White fur coats stained bones that poke free, including shattered femurs and two white skulls, filled with fur that stare out partially from the football shaped mass. Smelly slime glistens off the surface and hangs from her beak, pooling down beneath the mass, adding to the air just a taste of what the gryphons insides most certainly had smelled like for the pair, while the sickly taste lingers on her tongue, by far the worst part of her meal.
She then heads to the front of her cave and flares her wings without givng the pellets a second though. She'd continue this with the rest of the polar bears, making a point to eat even those who attempted to flee from the town, until finally serilde had obliterated the whole village, rendering it nothing more than food for her belly. Sadistically, she placed all the pellets around the houses and stores like tombstones for the bears that never would be again before leaving the now ghost town, in search of another place to decimate.
