11:07 SkyBlue blinks twice, unaware that the pony had crept up on him like that so easily. He is taken by surprise, only just managing to keep himself in one place without jumping. "Um, nothing? Who are you?" he asks, incredibly confused and somewhat relieved to not be sitting as alone.

11:34 < SkyBlue> "I've seemed to have been rather popular to meet lately," he comments. "Had a bad pony come straight up to me out of the blue yesterday." He flicks his wing a bit in response to the hoof running through his feathers, perhaps just a little irritated.

11:36 GyroTech pulls at the feathers a little more, just increasing the teasing play the more SkyBlue flicks his wing. "A bad pony? Oh no? What did they do to you? They were probably a mud pony werent they? Dirty mud ponies..."

11:37 < SkyBlue> (Oh shit, typo, bat)

11:37 SkyBlue (bangs his head on the wall repeatedly)

11:37 < Zuthal> (or if you do, put a pillow between your head and the wall)

11:37 < GyroTech> (Ehh work with it :P Its pretty easy to have gyro had misheard or your character misspoke :P)

11:38 < Zuthal> (or he just thinks that bat ponies in general are bad ponies)

11:41 SkyBlue shakes his head, confusion increasing still. "No, bat. I said bat. I think she said she called herself Inky."

11:43 < GyroTech> (Hehehe I suppose thats true :P)

11:43 < GyroTech> (But not everyone knows :B)

11:44 < GyroTech> (Huh...things suddenly got a lot more complicated -_- )

11:45 GyroTech twitches his ears and turns his head at SkyBlue with a smile, blushign a bit at his mistake. "Oh, Inky? she and I are close~ She's my mare friend, and one of the couple cute bats in town. How'd you two get along?"

11:46 < Dusk> (just lol)

11:50 < Inky> ( if not the only! )

11:51 < SkyBlue> "She, uh, asks a lot of questions," is his first thought about her. "She's nice, but as curious as she is it's rather tiring."

11:52 GyroTech laughs and nods at SkyBlue and then finally scoots a bit away, creating a gap between the two of them. "Ya, thats Inky alright. She'll talk your ear off, and then when she's done, she'll run off with those ears to talk to them some more."

11:54 < Zuthal> (the only bat pony he considers acceptable)

11:57 SkyBlue lets his wing relax as the unicorn moves away from him a bit. "So she does it to everyone? Heh, I can only imagine how much you have to deal with."

11:59 GyroTech smiles at SkyBlue once more, shaking his head yes. "Ya, she does it to all ponies, but after you've been with her for a bit, she does finally mostly run out of questions, until you do a new event or something, and soon she'll be asking again."

12:03 SkyBlue chuckles for a moment, remembering how many questions he was assaulted with the day before. Wanting to change the topic a little, he speaks up again. "Anyway, what made you notice me here, out of everypony else around?"

12:14 GyroTech shrugs as he looks over the stallion, looking for anything remarkable he could bring up. Finally the stallion says, "Well, you just looked like you were a little bored is all, and well..." The stallion glances up over the other side of teh chair cautiously, "Acutally nevermind."

12:22 < SkyBlue> "You know, I guess I was a little bored. Though, I'm used to being alone, but company is always appreciated." He looks towards the unicorn, giving him a small smile. He offers out a hoof to him, speaking again. "I'm Sky, Sky Blue."

12:29 GyroTech takes the hoof in his own and gives it a firm shake. The unicorn finally shucks his saddle bag full of tools and sets it aside. Nice to meet you, I'm Gyro Tech, but you can call my Gyro. How long ahve you been here in seaddle?"

12:38 < SkyBlue> (Also lack of a speech mark)

12:39 < GyroTech> (I'm gonna blame me getting less than 3 hours of sleep last night :P)

12:40 < GyroTech> (I didnt do it because reasons...and Yes I did, and it was certainly worth it, to get to be with skies one more night)

12:41 SkyBlue takes his hoof back, satisfied with the hoofshake. "About a week or so. Been adjusting to life here from Ponyville, and it's been pretty good." He glances down at Gyro's saddlebag full of tools as it is palced down with a clunk. Curiosity strikes him, but he decides against poking further into it.

12:44 GyroTech smells a bit like sweat and hard work, mostly masked by a pleasant fruity scent as he gets comfortable on the cushion, though his mane and tail are too kempt to be a day laborer. "A week huh? and ponyville, wow thats a pretty big change, coming to a big bustling city like this. What brings you here?"

12:52 < SkyBlue> "Being transferred off my job to here is what," he says, rather bluntly, as if he really wished he could have just stayed where he considered to be home. He looks downwards, ears drooping as he sighs with a sour expression on his face. Before staying quiet for too long, he decides to say something at least a little more positive. "It's a great city, though."

12:56 GyroTech exhails a long irritated huff of air as SkyBlue seems to get a bit sour with him and gives him a disaproving look. "Its way better than a little rinky dink place like ponyville. I hear they still subscribe to the mudpony ways or some other such nonsense for seasin changing. I think that the weather team is silly for putting up with that nonsense. What's you're job in anyways?"

13:11 < SkyBlue> (Back, didn't mean to make it sound that hostile, more as a playful "you fucked up", but the point is still there)

13:17 SkyBlue 's expression only turns worse as he listens to Gyro talking shit about his town, his home. He glares at him with the intensity in his eyes like that of a cockatrice petrifying its prey. "You what. How can you say that? Have you ever in your life been there? Hmph, you unicorns are all alike."

13:21 GyroTech has a nonchalant look at his face even as SkyBlue seems to take offense to what he's saying. THe unicorn waves a hoof dismissively and shrugs at him. "I mean, I've been there once...maybe...just in passing though, and parts of it did seem a little bit...backwater."

13:22 < Zuthal> (ten bits say GyroTech gets at least punched in the face)

13:26 < SkyBlue> "Maybe for a prissy Unicorn like you," he scowls.

13:34 < SkyBlue> "And don't you even think about just tossing aside our culture like that. Who do you think you are to say such a thing about how they did things, how I did things. So what if we aren't as 'advanced' as city folk, at least we're happy living." Very quickly a tinge of sadness is added to his mix of emotion. "And maybe I would have been better there, on the weather team."

13:35 < SkyBlue> (Also, restarting)

13:43 GyroTech squirms around, laying down on the cushion now as he looks at the pegasus with a bit of disinterest. "I think that if you're not advancing to the best way to do things, if you're stuck in the past, you cant be as happy as you could be and that makes one a featherbrain. And...if you're not on the weather team, then I assume you're in either the guard, though you dont look it, and so you're a mail carrier" He says rambling, and stereotyping the stallion before him.

13:46 < SkyBlue> (I actually can't think of anything he could have been moved here for, gg)

13:47 < GyroTech> (I thought you said he was on the weather team w/ inky :P)

13:47 < SkyBlue> (Yeah but, seems that's not a thing)

13:54 SkyBlue very hastily replies back to him, tone still as hostile towards him. "I'll have you know, that I am on the weather team. And I'm damn good at it."

13:58 GyroTech seems a bit suprised when SkyBlue reveals his position and gives a laugh and a nod. "Oh, the weather team huh? You shoudl tell whichever one of your coworkers who thinks its funny to schedule showers on days where I have to go down to the dock to cut it out. It seems half the time I need to go there I get rained on."

14:08 < SkyBlue> "I'll make a note to tell them to do it more. Perhaps you should consider taking an umbrella," he quips. He weakens his stare some, but still showing his emotion in his eyes.

14:11 GyroTech gives a grunt and finally shows a glare of irriation back at the stallion. "You better not. I'm one of the mane ponies insuring that the docs are actually working and active around here. Its bad enough when you ruin my day when I'm trying to get stuff back in order."

14:20 SkyBlue forms a sly grin noticing he'd finally gotten to him in such a way. He seizes the opportunity and continues being a complete arse. "Aww, afraid of a little rain? Come on, it's not that bad." It's going to do the least bit of help, but he's not in any sort of mood to be making up anyway.

14:22 GyroTech makes a loud groan as he hears the threats being hurled at hi and seems to curl his tail against himself protectively. "Rain is so icky and wet, and cold and dreary...And it always ruins my hair. You have no idea how much time I spend on that."

14:33 SkyBlue chuckles as the Gyro whines about silly problems he doesn't have being used to rain. "Oh, that's such a unicorn thing to say," he says, beginning to generalise as the other had before.

14:36 GyroTech snorts and nods at the pegasus. "Of course it is, featherbrains like you dont know the importance of keeping yourself kempt and looking nice. Thats probably why you're more likely to snag another featherbrain or a mud horse than a unicorn."

14:37 < Zuthal> ("I wouldn't want one anyways if they are all like you"

14:42 SkyBlue gives GyroTech a confused look, but it doesn't completely replace what he already was expressing, rather added to it. "Snag, what?"

14:44 GyroTech rolls his eyes and puts a hoof up to his face, shaking his head. "Snag a mare, a girlfriend, a lover, a partner." He says, elaborating in a deadpanned tone. "If you were as sauve as a unicorn...as me...you'd have all the mares dying to rut you~"

14:53 < SkyBlue> "I'm not all that interested," he responds, getting straight to the point. It was never his biggest interest, but he had never turned away from it completely. He stays fairly quiet about it, not so elegantly dancing about it and perhaps might have skipped over one or two details.

14:56 GyroTech sighs as he hears the stallion's words, figuring that he must be into other stallions instead. The unicorn gives another glance up over the edge of the chair, and this time hops off the front. "Well it was interesting meeting you Sky. Perhaps if Inky is inclined we'll stumble across each other again," the unicorn says, a fair bit more cordial sounding than he had been earlier.

14:59 < GyroTech> (I'm leaving work and wanted to kill it. And if he'd asked earlier gyro had pissed someone off a client and didnt want to deal with it at the moemnt, but it was a lost thing :P so its really no matter)

15:07 SkyBlue is a fair bit surprised how much different Gyro sounded as he brings the conversation to a close. He mumbles something about hoping not to meet him again under his breath, as he stays put for the time being.
