Hardening Some Eggs

13:49 Ruzeth knocks on Nadine's door after having been asked to make a house call by her husband. He has a bright smile on his face and a pack full of ingriedents. They'ed been reffered to an appothacary by the doctor to come fix the fact that an egg or two had been found to have weak shells, and they wanted the chicks to make it to term. ***

13:53 Nadine murrs softly as she gets off of the couch to answer the door, leaving her book behind as she walks over to answer it, holding it open as she looks down at the zebra in the door way ***

13:56 Ruzeth waves a hoof at her with a bright grin on his face, tensing with excitement. "Hiya...ummm...." He thinks for a second and looks at a slip of paper, "Miss Nadine. Your husband mentioned something about a problem I'm supposed to solve...but he was too embarassed to go into the specifics." ***

13:57 Nadine blushes a bit and opens the door up the rest of the way, stepping back "Ah so you're that doctor he mentioned?" She asks tentatively, motioning for him to come into her home ***

14:00 Ruzeth frowns a bit at the blush, and then brightens up as she opens the door and asks him in. "Yes, I'm the apothecary he asked for." The zebra bounces in with a bundle of nervous energy. "You're actually my first Griffon patient~ I'm actually kind of excited." He says with a grin, glancing about her house. ***

14:03 Nadine giggles a little bit and blushes lightly still as she shuts the door behind him, leading him to the living room with a bit of a sigh as she turns to look at him "Well I'm glad you're enthusiastic about this and stuff...I'm a bit nervous myself cus I'm not really used to this kind of thing" ***

14:09 Ruzeth takes his pack off and sets it down on the living room table and gestures for her to lay down on the couch. "Dont worry, it'll be alright. I'll get you all patched up. Now...what seems to be the issue?" He asks as she lies down. ***

14:13 Nadine sighs softly and swallows "Well...I don't think I'll be able to carry eggs to full term through a pregnancy..." she says softly as she watches him, laying down as he asks her too ***

14:15 Ruzeth blinks and steps forward to run a hoof through her feathers in sympathy. "Why's that? Maybe I can think of some way to help you out?" ***

14:16 Nadine sighs softly and nods a bit as she feels him rubbing her feathers, doing her best to just let him, as it was kinda relaxing "Well...their shells are so soft...and malleable...I'm not entirely sure that they'd make it all the way through ***

14:23 Ruzeth strokes her a little bit more as he feels her calming down from the petting. "Soft...?" He asks, a little curious as to what she means. "You mean the shells didnt properly develop?" He hmms to himself as he goes through his list of remedies. ***

14:28 Nadine sighs a bit and nods "I think it's a fairly common thing with my eggs...but yes I'm fairly sure that's the case." ***

14:30 Ruzeth frowns siliently as he thinks over all his training and herb interactions and nothing was springing to mind. "Well...I'm sure we can get it patched up." He responds, trying to project an air of false confidence. ***

14:35 Nadine giggles a little bit and shakes her had "I love how you keep using that phrase, like a field medic" she says with a little poke in his side ***

14:39 Ruzeth squeaks and pulls away a little from the sharp talon, even though the press was light and then casts a glance down at it. "Well...much of my early training was doing first aid medicine back in Zebrica," he explains still drawing a blank at how to fix the eggs. ***

14:41 Nadine giggles lightly and shrugs a bit, shaking her head "So it just sorta stuck with you then?" she asks with a playful bit of jest in her voice ***

14:43 Ruzeth nods silently though his resolve steadily dwindled into a frown. I...actually dont know how to make you make better shellls..." He finally says with tears forming in his eyes, upset with himself for not being able to help. ***

15:03 Nadine sighs a bit and blinks a few times, frowning a bit as she looks him over with a saddened look on her beak "W-well...oh...I'm not exactly sure what to say..." ***

16:07 Ruzeth looks at his bag and sighs, breaking eye contact with the sad griffon. "I mean...maybe I could mix something up to strengthen /those/ eggs...but it'd require a direct application as well..." ***

16:12 Nadine sighs softly and nods to him, blinking a few times as she looks him over "What do you mean by that? Direct application that is." she asks in a slightly incredulous tone ***

16:19 Ruzeth paws his hooves at the ground with a bit of a blush on his face. "Well...its just, its a paste and needs to go on the mineral that it needs to harden. When surgery is needed for broken bones, they kinda apply this along the fracture..." ***

16:22 Nadine sighs soflty and looks him over, not knowing exactly what to do "S-so...you're wanting to cut me open to apply that?" ***

16:25 Ruzeth scoffs as Nadine suggests that they cut her open and shakes his head. "No...I have something I can give you to...umm...loosen you up a bit so that somepony you trust could get up there and rub it on the shells...Like maybe your husband?" He suggests, figuring she wouldn't feel comfortable with him doing it. ***

16:29 Nadine blinks a bit and looks him over, pondering what he just said "W-wait...like...climbing into my womb? I-I um...I don't think that he'd do all that well with that either...and you're smaller than him and stuff..." ***

16:31 Ruzeth smiles sheepishly as the griffon puts it quite plainly and nods at her, blushing. "Yeah that's exactly what I mean...And oh? You want me to do it? I mean...sure I guess I can. I just didn't expect..." He says, blushing even brighter. ***

16:37 Nadine watches his blush get deeper and giggles lightly as she does "Well I mean...it's nothing against my husband...but you are at least smaller and stuff...so it'd be easier to fit you" ***

16:39 Ruzeth calms down a little bit and nods at her in understanding, though under his white fur he's still very pink. "Oh, alright then. I'll go in and get them for you, just let me mix things up first. Do you have a kitchen?" ***

16:41 Nadine nods and points behind the couch to the doorway to the kitchen "It's right over there...should be clean and stuff..i haven't cooked today" ***

16:47 Ruzeth smiles at her and nods, picking up his bag and heading out towards that direction. "It'll be a bit, but just sit tight and I'll have everything that I need ready." ***

16:47 Nadine nods a bit and murrs as she curls up on the couch "Alright I'll just relax and snooze until you return then!" ***

16:55 Ruzeth disappears into her kitchen for several hours as he works, boiling things together and eventually returns with a bag of goop and a vial of purple liquid. "Nadine? Nadine?" He says, trying to wake her up. ***

17:02 Nadine blinks a couple of times and crosses them as she looks over in his direction, slowly returning to consciousness "Mmm?" she says tiredly ***

17:06 Ruzeth waves at the griffon as she seems to wake up and sets his mixtures down on the table. "Oh, Nadine, I got everything prepared. Are you ready to continue?" He asks, standing infront of her. ***

17:10 Nadine sighs a bit and yawns softly "I- I think so...how are you gonna apply that?" she asks curiously, looking over the bag ***

17:12 Ruzeth waves his hooves at her, indicating for her to continue to lay back. "Oh, I just want you to lay there and let me do all the work. First though...Drink this." He hands her the purple vial. ***

17:18 Nadine frowns a bit and nods as she grabs out for it, "Alright then...I'll just lay down" she says as she downs the vial of liquid, trying not to taste it ***

17:20 Ruzeth watches as Nadine drinks down the bitter vial and makes his way towards her tail end, looking at the triangular patch that he'd be pressing in to while he waits a minute for the potion to work. ***

17:22 Nadine murrs softly as she looks down at him, giggling a little bit as she does watch him sit down there "Alright...I'm just gonna try and hold myself together and stuff" ***

23:50 Nadine blinks "What do you mean by that? I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to get me to do..." ***

23:52 Ruzeth sighs and says, "Just uncork it and push it into your vagina. the liquid should reach me, and then should interact with this unnatural egg. ***

00:20 Nadine sighs a bit and picks throught his belongings until she finds it, picking one of them and sighing as she decides that they were all the same, putting it between the couch cushions "Alright, I'm getting ready" ***

00:22 Ruzeth waits expectantly for her to get the potion in, hoping that it ends up working. ***

00:57 Ruzeth hears a wet sound as the liquid begins to flow up into the chamber and smiles, fully ready to be let free. "Oh, sounds like you got it!" ***

01:30 Ruzeth squirms and continues to shrink. "I...I'm shrinking..." He says, with a whimper. Soon though he cant speak anymore as the egg begins to fill up with a yolk and egg white around him. ***

02:19 < Nadine> (Yea...)

02:20 Nadine murmurs and sighs softly as she hears him "H-how...what did you tell me to use on you?" ***

02:21 Ruzeth responds even softer, just barely audible, "It was supposed to weaken the shell...now...I don't....I'm becoming an egg?" He says, voice getting softer and softer until he finally goes silent, passing out as his now young body begins to rest like a growing chick. ***

02:22 Nadine blinks as she pushes on her shrunken belly, blinking a few times "W-what's going on...hello?" ***

02:24 Ruzeth couldn't respond anymore and wouldn't be seen from until she laid her eggs for them to finally hatch. His egg though, would look a bit unusual, striped white and black. ***

02:24 < Nadine> (Do you want me to continue?)

02:25 < Ruzeth> (Umm idk probably not. It'd be silly for her chicks to hatch w/o stoic present :P)

02:25 < Ruzeth> (Course she could realize the new egg or something like that, some sort of conclusion...IDK)

15:52 Nadine sighs softly as she looks over her belly, trying to figure out what happened, she calls out his name a couple more times and sighs as she doesn't get an answer, after waiting a couple of hours she decides that a grave mistake had been made, but one that she'd hope fully be able to rectify by taking care of the egg he'd become inside her, treating it like one of her own, many months later she decides it's about time to lay them, to let them all hatch and so she could take care of them, only then noticing that after her laborious task that one of the eggs was striped like the zebra, putting the other s inbetween her legs as she cradles that one egg, waiting for it to hatch ***

21:40 Ruzeth is safe and sound in the egg the entire time as he remains there, nourished by the yolk and egg whites that surround him. He remains in a dream state as the months pass until finally he's expelled from his warm home into the cold world once more. Several days after being layed, he wakes and begins to shift about in the tight shell, pushing and hitting at the calcium till it begins to crack. ***

21:42 Nadine looks at the egg as it starts to shift, it being the only one right now and she was happy that the oddly colored egg was finally going to show what became of the zebra "Mmm...finally hatching hmm?~" she says as she picks it up slowly, letting him break open the shell ***

21:44 Ruzeth slowly light beginning to filter in through the cracks and he can hear a dull voice outside the shell, causing the zebra to hasten his escape. After half an hour of work, he finally forces the shell apart and collapses in one half exhausted and panting. The zebra looks exactly like the one that'd helped her eggs survive before though about half the size as he had been. ***

21:47 Nadine has the broken eggshells cradled against her chest as well as the zebra as she looks down at him with a smile, sighing happily as she brushes off the shells of the egg "Mmm...it's nice to see you again..." ***

21:48 Ruzeth is pretty slimy and has that just hatched smell as he leans against the griffon. "Wha....what happened?" He asks, having lost the last hour or so before he got turned into an egg. "I was coming to help you out...and now suddenly I'm here?" ***

21:52 Nadine chuckles a little bit and points to her eggs smiling at him "You've been inside me for quite some time...thank you so much for helping me~" she says happily as she pets through his mane ***

22:00 Ruzeth squirms in her grasp and turns to see the eggs she had gathered together. "O-oh...h-how did that happen? But at least your eggs made it through alright...Oh! Lucents probably worried sick..." ***

22:00 < Ruzeth> (Though likely she'd have reported it, or at least been questioned.)

22:07 < Nadine> (Sorry, was finishing up the setup of OTR)

22:13 Nadine shakes her head a bit and smiles "Everything's gonna be fine, everyone knows that the situation was a bit awkward, but months have passed by and it's all ok now" ***

22:26 Ruzeth grimaces and shakes his head as he pulls himself out of the shell and flops to the ground. He's a little wobbly as he stands up to his feet, before collapsing. "I guess its good that everyone knew..." ***

22:49 Nadine holds out her claws for him to climb back into, smirking a bit as she watches him stumble "You don't have to go anywhere sweetie, and I'm glad they took it relatively well, though...some thought it was on purpose..." ***

22:54 Ruzeth sputters as she explains this situation and shakes his head. "On purpose? Why would I do something like that on purpose? I'm sure Lucents been so worried anyways..." He says, and then suddenly decides that he should head home, stumbling out the door. ***
