07:25 GyroTech walks up to the mare with a giggle and gives her a nuzzle and a couple tender pokes with his horn. "So...I heard you know a bit about fire magic huh?"

07:26 Tihan smiles a bit at GyroTech, tousling his mane gently with her hoof as he rubs his face on her. "Mmm, you could say that."

07:28 GyroTech pulls away at her admission with a frown on his face, suddenly looking a bit more serious. "Well...Some ponies were saying your's is more impressive than mine so I had to see for myself."

07:29 Tihan tilts her head, wondering why Gyro was getting so serious suddenly. "Well, what did you want to see exactly?"

07:30 GyroTech circles around her with a stern look on his face, taking her in. "Well...I'm just assuming that its that your magic is more flashy than mine..." He sounds a little bit jealous as he speaks.

07:31 Tihan turns her head to watch him walk around her, then quickly spins it back around as he rounds the other side of her body. "Uh... huh...?" She blinks at him once, smiling a bit at how silly she thought this all was.

07:33 GyroTech waves a hoof at her. "Well, go on, start us off with a trick and I'll do it just as well as you," he responds indignantly

07:35 Tihan says, "Well, ok then." She shrugs at him and lifts her hoof up in front of her. She flicks her wrist and her claws quickly extend. She then smiles at them and with a click of her claws together, her horn bursts into flame, simultaneously manifesting a small flaming orb within the confines of her claws.

07:36 GyroTech frowns at the sudden spell, seeing her pick up no tinder or anything to light. Still, not to be outdone, he levitates a leaf off the ground, and holding out his hoof, pumps heat into the leaf till it combusts into flames. "That was easy~" he mutters.

07:39 Tihan watches him pick up the leaf and she hmms softly. "Mmm, not bad, but that was a pretty easy one." She raises her hoof higher and she lets go of the orb, bringing her hoof back down to let it float there. With a simple nod of her head, she sends the orb into a small circle, and it lowers down until it was orbiting closely around her clawed hoof. It rotates faster and faster before she allows it to collide with her hoof, forming a sheath of flames around her hoof and each of her claws.

07:43 GyroTech frowns at this next display and then looks around for some more things to light before settling on a small stone. He begins to pour energy into it and it slowly beigns to glow. "Just....just hold on..." he says, straining. Another minute later, he has it melted and holds out his hoof, forming a layer of lava around it.

07:43 < GyroTech> He doesnt leave it there too long though, and quickly retracts it as not to get any painful drips.

07:47 Tihan flexes her claws in the comforting warmth of direct contact with flame. She waits for him to do his thing, watching the stone melt away. "Mmm, interesting choice there. Not bad, though. The use of lava was quite interesting." She flicks her wrist and the flames flick off of her hoof to hover in midair, quickly recollecting into the simple orb. She then sits down and centers the orb between her two hooves, pressing them together firmly around the orb, crushing it with a few sparkles as the magic sustaining it was absorbed back into her.

07:52 GyroTech watches intently and does something similar, bringing the stone up and hovering it between his hooves before pressing the lava back together. "Well, I cant quite do fire as such...thats why I figured you were more showy." He extracts the heat from the ball, causing the air near him to begin to heat up as it absorbs the excess energy.

07:57 Tihan watches the familiar shimmering heat in the air with a smile. "Mmm, be that as it may, you're doing pretty well." She tilts her head, thinking how to raise the stakes without pushing it too far. She lights up and nods, her horn siphoning the energy from the shimmering air above Gyro. She collects that energy int an approximation of a simple spell matrix, and with a quick spell, converts that heat into flame, the framework of the basic teleportation spell floating in front of her as flame.

08:02 GyroTech scrunches his nose as Tihan creates another floating flame, one that seemed arbitrarily like the first one that they'ed done. WIth a shrug, he collects a twig off the ground and lights that on fire in front of him. "Run out of tricks I see?"

08:04 Tihan giggles a bit and shakes her head. She nods her head towards the intricate geometric shape of the teleportation spell matrix. "Aww, don't tell me you don't recognize that!"

08:08 GyroTech shrugs and shakes his head, breaking his buring brank apart to replicate the thing with fireballs. "Nope, not really, but here, I did the pattern as well. You're not all that hot, though you're body is smoking~"
