Gyro Feather
Peacock|Male
As a peacock, Gyro's digestive system starts with his beak. He has no teeth, but can bite down with the sharp edges. He must make a bobbing motion to swallow.
His long esophagus makes for a perfect opportunity to show off a neck bulge. If the prey is small they may slip into the crop, but anything much larger than a football will pass on through. The crop sits at the base of his neck, and is a soft squishy sack that safely stores treats for a time. He can control whether things come back up from his crop or are pushed further along.
The stomach is like any other and digests things, and he can't bring stuff back up voluntarily.
The gizzard is a strong muscular organ pass the stomach that receives its fluids and can crunch down and break bones through mechanical action. Hard objects may get lodged here and used to pulverize prey. Occasionally, once the meat is thoroughly liquified, the indigestibles like fur, bones, clothing and the like are compressed into a pellet, and returned to the crop, where they will be later expelled out the mouth, but usually they pass along with the chyme.
Everything else proceeds as normal, through the small intestine, the large intestine, and then out.

Gyro works at club as one of the lead exotic dancers. He has been known to incorporate an audience member or two into his dance routines, swallowing them artfully on stage and then proceeding to dance with his squirming belly.
When he's not soliciting volunteers on stage, he often uses his charm and looks to draw someone down his beak, or back to a private area where he's able to take advantage of them.
Of course, despite his size and his physique, birds are very much on the menu for many predators, and they have been known to get their jaws around Gyro as well. His pretty tail feathers make for quite the trophy.
