He's a very derpy bird and is easily distracted. He's prone to doing the first thing that pops into his head without much foresight which can lead to interesting situations and not always the best ones. But sometimes his silliness does work out.

Like the bird he is, he loves to collect various trinkets and nicknacks when he sees them and sometimes this extends to those things that are already owned. He also has a nearly bottomless belly, and can't turn down a free snack or a fish when he has the opportunity to get one.

He's very impulsive and not very intelligent. Thunk speaks in third person, and doesn't really use pronouns. He has some trouble with putting together complex ideas. Still he's plenty loyal to his friends and a little naive when it comes to meeting other people.

As a cramorant, Thunk's digestive system starts with his beak. He has no teeth, but can bite down with the sharp edges. He must make a bobbing motion to swallow. His internal flesh is blackish grey.
Esophagus
His long esophagus makes for a perfect opportunity to show off a neck bulge. Unlike many birds, he does not have a crop, and food goes directly to the stomach.
Stomach
The stomach is like any other and digests things, and he can't bring stuff back up voluntarily.
Gizzard
The gizzard is a weak organ, made for filtering. Occasionally, once the meat is thoroughly liquified, the indigestibles like fur, bones, clothing, and the like are compressed into a pellet, and expelled out the mouth, but usually they pass along with the chyme.

Thunk is a greedy bird and will attempt to swallow any pokemon that he can get his beak around, which tends to be quite a few. He considers them all fish, even the ones he happens to get on land, though he'll usually avoid those with feathers.
His favorite snacks, when he can get them, are electric types, who are often surprised to find that their defenses are useless when faced with Thunk's unique lightning rod ability.
He will absolutely gorge himself silly when food is abundant, and can conjure up his hurricane beneath his gut so that he can continue to waddle long after he should have ceased feeding.
While he sees himself as a top predator, he is not immune to being eaten himself, though he is a tough creature to nail down.

Biology
Thunk is a cramorant, which means he's a bird who's not only capable of flight, but can also dive fairly deep underneath the water in search of prey, and can eat pretty sizable fish. When threatened, he's able to spit out high bursts of water, conjure sharp winds, or even generate small hurricanes. He also packs a pretty mean peck when required, and can spit things from his beak at high speeds. Due to his diet of electric types, he has developed lightning rod, giving him immunity to electrical attacks.
Fisherbird
Thunk works as a fisherbird within the PMD universe, diving between the water and helping to supply his town with meat, and to keep his own beak filled. In the same universe he's a bit of a troublemaker and has been known to occasionally nick some items or play some pranks on a passing traveler.
Pokemon World
In the standard pokemon world, Thunk is a wild pokemon with an aversion to being caught. He lurks in lakesides and on beaches, fishing and enjoying life. He does think some of the objects that trainers carry around are intriguing and has been known to steal some shinies to take back to his den and mess with.
